- Cooksey (1/5): - Can't review the place looked derelict and was locked up we couldn't gain access the number left on the Door was not recognised should be taken off this website.
- Michelle (1/5): AVOID!!! - Avoid!!!!! The building looks empty and nobody was there so we had to book another accommodation. Thankfully we found one with vacancies Avoid!!!! Waiting on refund because the 3 phone numbers we had nobody answered and there was nobody there to check us in
- Alan (7/5): -
- Jade (3/5): Good for cheap stag/hen beds - The location was great and very convenient It was cheap, however a lot of Blackpool is cheap and better quality for the same price (maybe £2 more). This was a last minute booking for us. Staff weren't friendly on arrival, didn't even say hello. The place is outdated and feels like things (such as the window) would break at any minute. The room was not clean at all (though the bedding was). The shower didn't work. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from the room next door/across the corridor. It's a great hotel if you're plan is going out drinking and coming back early morning and leaving the next day, otherwise I'd go with somewhere else.

- Guest (9/5): - Breakfast not included
- colin (5/5): Mediocre had better. - Was not offered breakfast Fresh lick of paint
- Watkin (2/5): wouldnt go again - The lady on the reception when we arrived was really friendly The rooms were not clean things were falling off the wall and were really cold. My mum and dads room was disgusting didnt have proper facilites to even hang clothes up. they found a ecig under the bedding it was on top of the mattress so obviously was not checked or cleaned properly that was room 14. My brother was in room 20 and that was same curtain pole fell down when he closed the curtains they was a orange behind the bathroom sink. I was in room 19 and it was freezing the towel holder in the bathroom was not on properly so kept falling off and the smell in all 3 rooms were not nice smelled fusty and damp
- Kayleigh (2/5): - Beds were really comfy The hotel throughout smells of wet dog. Bathroom was unclean, the shower had 1 temperature which was scalding hot, the shower head leaked from the bottom more than through the actual shower head. Trying to turn the heat down on the shower just stopped any form of water flowing. The carpet in the bedroom needed a hoover. The towels were dirty and stained not half as stained as the curtains they were disgusting. The bedding was cleanish! One pillow case out of 4 was dirty. Somebody's old toenail in the middle of the bed. We arrived with family who had also booked a few weeks ago, we only booked last week to find out they had double booked the family members room meaning they had to find a last minute hotel at triple the cost. Wouldn't be recommended this hotel to anyone.
- Guest (1/5): Will never return - Windows didn't shut so constantly open allowing all creatures great and small in, along with the noise from outside. The wallpaper was falling off, showing the mold and damp underneath.
There's a damp patch in the bathroom from a leak upstairs.
The room hadn't been cleaned, you could tell from the amount of dust on the cups amd skirting boards along with the items left under the bed. Also water left in the kettle.
The chair in the bathroom was pulled apart and the picture was on the floor.
The towel rail fell off the wall if you put a towel on it.
There's also no built in heating so you have a plug in one with no instructions.
I'd upload more photos bit it takes to long.
I did ask for a different room within 10mins as i was staying with my child and it wasn't appropriate but was told there wasn't any despite seeing them available on booking.com.
- john (10/5): - If you are looking for cheap and cheerful this is the place close to everything you need i like my comfort thought bed was going to be a nightmare but was actually comfortable and had a good sleep even had a afternoon nap before going back out
- stulock (7/5): -
- Karen (10/5): Great value for money - Warm clean great location Nothing
- Neil (4/5): -
- yvonne (1/5): i didnt stay we left and had to find a different place to stay as i have a bad cheat and thw damp wouldnt be good sleepi - nothing badly run badly run , room wasnt clean , lots of damage to room damp in room wallpaper hanging of the wall
- Yvette (6/5): - great location
easy to check in.
did have kettle with tea, coffee, milk but no spoon to stir the sugar Not the cleanest, very noisy, people knocking on door at all times. could hear people in the next room going to the toilet .
People smoking in room as corridor smelled of smoke . nowhere to hang clothes.

- danielle (3/5): -
- Evans (10/5): - Tv didn't work the towel rail was hanging off wall broken
- Matthew (6/5): -
- Guest (6/5): Apart from the shower place was great, - Clean & friendly staff, ideal location Shower was cold no matter what time you used it
- Marc (6/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): -
- Jaimie Leigh (4/5): good location but the noise and how close the rooms are is terrible - I liked how close it was to where we planned on going I really disliked how there is literally a plaster board between each room, meaning you can hear everything in the next rooms to you, everything down to the neighbors snoring, that’s how thin the walls are, I had a very very disturbed sleep, I got into bed at 11pm but didn’t get to sleep until gone 4am due to the noise of what sounded like a very loud party from my neighbour and then I was awoken at 7am to the noise again.
- Kayleigh (8/5): Cheap cheerful and does what it says on the can - Hotel had an outside renovation so was a pleasant surprise when we arrived, very close to the centre and the staff (man from north east I think) was amazing couldn’t do enough to help Room was tiny and could of done with a lick of paint but for £40 what do you expect
- Jake (6/5): -
- Ellie (1/5): Very poor - How close it was to the town and the beach Didn’t like that the room I stayed in smelt of sewage and that their was no soap no noting in the bath room , the window wouldn’t shut properly, damp in the room and leaking shower
- Ben (1/5): - Nothing, the price i was charged was not what I expected, I have seen £25 a night rooms that are alot better than what I got. Everything
- Jillian (3/5): Wouldn’t stay again unless better shower and tv to work - Good location, comfortable bed No remote couldn’t put the tv on and just an apology given with no fix of this, no button on the tv to even switch it on.
Shower broken and spraying to side, sign says close shower door but half the door missing, sink cracked and only one cup and spoon which was rectified
- Cusworth (1/5): Terrible place to stay - Hotel was disgusting smelt really bad the toilet seat wasn't attached shower room full of damp towel rail hanging off the wall no radiator had to ask for heater that was broken and sparking fire hazard carpets where filthy paint coming off the wall hotel lobby dirty night staff foreigner English wasn't very good so bad comminunction when we woke up this morning the room was that cold and full condensation it was running down the walls and the bedding was wet our clothes where damp and smelly mattress on th2 bed was very old and dirty didn't expect the best for 47 pound but expected the basics heating clean bed and the very least heat very disappointing would never stay again Everything
- dean (3/5): -
- christine (4/5): - The location Badly needs a lick of paint from the front steps then all through, a musty smell through out, TV to small for room, hot water tap needs looking at, room 6, bedding and towels where clean,
- Guest (7/5): - Great locations and good for those on a budget. Staff were really friendly The windows were hard to open and close and there was a lot of noise of people coming and going
- Lee (10/5): -
- Guest (1/5): - Location good Disgusting room with peeling paper and mould. Safety issues with window lock broken and unable to shut another. Still waiting on booking.com to respond to complaint.
- Harry (6/5): -
- Louise (9/5): -
- Ogunbayo (6/5): -
- Neil (8/5): Decent for value price - Perfect location for Blackpool. Cheap and clean with friendly staff Little outdated and not great mattress but not complaining at the price
- Cargill (4/5): - There was black mould in the bathroom and a musty smell in the room. The bed was horrific, I'd have slept better on a bed of nails!
They no longer do breakfast, and check out time is 10:30, not 11:00.
- Tyler (6/5): -

- Dave (8/5): -
- Michael (2/5): -
- Sarah (6/5): -
- Pamela (2/5): Cheap but unpleasant. - I didn't like anything. The smell of staleness, the mold everywhere and the room obviously hadn't been cleaned, I was in room 1.

- Michael (7/5): -
- Sandra (7/5): All in all it was a pleasant stay. Beds comfortable and clean. Facilities for what we needed were good. Attended an even - Comfortable clean beds . Great location Little run down but for the price I can’t complain
- Elaine (7/5): - Location was great, could see Blackpool tower out of the window, staff friendly Smell in the corridor, toilet seat was too small, shower wasn't the best, rubbish in the small car park.
- Linda (3/5): I no itwa - Didn't have food Bed very hard had to sleep on quilt for softness when you turned tap it turned as well toilet seat was loose I had tighten screw up to stop it moving
- Motion (1/5): We booked The Arncliff Hotel well in advance and paid in full, as myself and two other families were travelling to Black - We booked The Arncliff Hotel well in advance and paid in full, as myself and two other families were travelling to Blackpool for the Hip Hop World Championships. When we arrived, the hotel was closed. A cleaner came out and told us there were no bookings. I then called the manager, who confirmed the hotel was closed and not accepting guests, despite Booking.com still taking bookings and payments.
None of us were informed in advance. We were left stranded in Blackpool, without accommodation, after travelling for a major international event. To make matters worse, none of us have received a refund, nor any communication from the hotel or Booking.com. No apology was offered to me or the other families in my group.
This has been an extremely stressful and unacceptable experience. Guests should never be charged for a hotel that is closed and refusing to provide refunds or even basic communication. - Walsh (1/5): Ruined birthday weekend away with husband cos of very dirty noisy room - Nothing Dirty bathroom damp room no toiletries TV not working seat in bathroom leg broken all bathroom was disgusting dirty asked them to clean wasn't done till second night at 11pm gone off milk in teacup with flies in it as well cos walls were so wet wallpaper was hanging off was told to complain to booking .com which I have done when got in at 10pmsunday all steps to hotel had drunk men and women on them all men just in their pants and smoking rollies tabacco ect shower over bath the tiles had big clumps of dead human hair stuck to them in 3places
- Mica (1/5): Smelly, worse night ever! - Good location All friendly at the reception apart from they gave me someone else’s room! 🤬 I opened the room and there was stuff everywhere! Went back down to reception, said this shouldn’t have happened they should have clocked out earlier and should be all clean. He will get someone to clean it asap. I explained how you going to clean it with someone else stuff in? Then they was telling me there’s no more rooms! I was fuming by this point. They soon give me a double room instead of a family room. Going up to the room the hallways stunk make up everywhere in the bathroom. Through the night there should have been someone attending the reception desk. A family comes in late at night and was running through the hotel! I rang down to reception and no answer I had enough by this point I left the hotel at 4am. It was the worst night ever!
- Taylor (1/5): Awful - If I am honest there wasn't anything in the hotel that me or the other 3 people I went with liked. Staff seemed friendly but didn't ask us if there was anything we need or if we are comfortable or happy. The room, our window was broken, the window surround was cracked and crumbling, the view outside was just of a lot of rubbish that had been dumped, the hotel was dirty and smelled of damp everywhere, hotel staff never seemed to be at the reception when we needed them, our TV in our room didn't work, our room door didn't close properly unless we lifted it up and slammed it shut, there seemed to be human excrement on the bathroom wall, wallpaper hanging off in the hallway, reception area very unclean with dirty smelly blankets on the floor, reception staff appeared to be lacking hygiene. Locked out of the hotel for over 10 minute when we wanted to check in because no one was at reception and no one answered the phones until a child saw us outside and informed someone. Room wasn't tented to in 3 days, no fresh clean towels, or toilet paper, no ironing facilities although online it states that there was. We are requesting a full refund.

- glen (1/5): - Hotel rang me the morning of the stay to say they wasn't able to accommodate me .. I couldnr get my money back they said,booking.com would be intouch, didn't hear off them so had to re book another hotel.. unable to contact booking.com or the hotel for a refund
- Wittey (5/5): Nice people that work there but could have been homeless if I didn’t have cash to purchase a hotel!! - No breakfast… I got a letter from a worker that I needed to leave the manager had quit… they first said they would get me another hotel for the remaining days … they didn’t I had to come out of pocket to get a hotel or I would have been on the street…

- Guest (9/5): Brit - Staff was very friendly The mess of the other buildings
On each side making it look untidy when its actually not it's really inside and the John smiths 6 pounds for one can is expensive....
- Benjamin (7/5): -
- Alan (5/5): - STaff were good but room wasn't up to standard in my opinion coat hangers were covered in dust . At least I got my deposit back.
- Geraldine (7/5): -
- Rob (1/5): Extremely disappointing stay – unhygienic and misleading - Location was great and staff were friendly Where do I even begin? The room was in a terrible state when we arrived — dirty, neglected, and completely unhygienic. There was visible mold on the walls and ceiling, and the shower was filthy, covered in black grime. To make matters worse, we noticed what appeared to be dry blood on the bathroom light cord, which was both disgusting and deeply concerning. Clearly, no proper cleaning had been done before our stay.
We were also asked to pay a £30 deposit for the room key and room, which we were told would be refunded — but this was never mentioned anywhere on Booking.com. The lack of transparency is unacceptable and felt very misleading.
All in all, this was one of the worst stays I’ve experienced. Between the poor cleanliness, the questionable hygiene, and the hidden deposit, I would strongly advise others to avoid this place unless major improvements are made.
