- Paula (8/5): Great spot- was in between family in TableTop and Albury for things to do. - Loved the new renovations- the room itself was lovely with super comfortable bed and decor. The new bathroom was a stand out. This is in the king rooms. So handy having grocery stores just over the road also. The great new terrace outside our rooms needed outdoor furniture. Lovely cool spot in the evening but had to make do with furniture from room and esky for a table.

Poor timing on our part as they are doing major renovations, so it was more difficult finding access to the club. Didn’t like the fact that we had to go to the clubhouse to register our booking. Planned on having a game of golf but it was raining.

- Aashish Negi (9/5): Very nice accommodation. Will come back if we drive on this route again. - Loved the room aesthetic. Very spacious overall and the slider door from the bedroom opened to a porch and a green lawn. Bathroom was very nice! I could hear the springs in the bed when moving / rolling around. Wasn't very comfortable but OK for a night's sleep. 500ml Water bottles were chargeable at $4.50 each from the minibar / fridge. Would have been nice to have a jug of water as an alternative.

- Rob (9/5): We would come again! - Beautifully renovated King room - it was clean and comfortable, and opened right out onto the golf course. The bathroom was large. The surroundings are lovely and quiet - well worth a morning walk on the golf course. The cafe opens for coffee / breakfast from 7:30am. They are doing renovations around the property but this did not impact our stay at all. There was good communication prior to our stay re: check in, as we were arriving in the evening when no staff were present. However we found our key easily. This is a great option if you’re looking for an overnight stay between Sydney and Melbourne. We struggled to find staff for check out, however it was a public holiday.

Construction should have been advised. - Location was convenient to Lavington We arrived to find construction and barricades all around the Thurgoona Country Club ... we had to walk on the road to gain access to the club for dinner. We booked the Deluxe double and unlike the renovated pictures we received we got an old hotel room in need of update No: 17 filled with musky smokey smells and original decor dating back to the 70s , brick walls and brown curtains with dark carpet. Dark and uninviting we had to air out by opening front and back door for sometime. No security, people walking past our back door looking in (not golfers) but local residents walking their dog. We had made previous arrangements for friends to catch up with a dinner and a drink at the Thurgoona Country Club and were embarrassed by the state of the club and found the meals also disappointing leaving most still on the plate.

- John (8/5): Peaceful, modern and advantage of the golf course and club house next door. - Breakfast was available at the local club from 7:30am and the coffee is good. I was in the new room section of the Motel. Lovely and luxurious. On site pool and bbq faciltiies, tennis courts opposite free for occupants and a Padel centre to play at available most hours of the day.

Bistro was good great value for money. Lovely grounds. Not too far from Albury if you like to shop. Would definitely stay there again. Cleaning staff do a super job.
