• Catherine (1/5): Don't bother. - The shower was hot and the staff member who replaced towels was friendly Where to start? This place is a sh!t hole. The pool- covered with a filthy pool cover. The BBQ facilities- didn't work, was next to the crappy pool, not undercover and next to a swarm of bees. The local bleeding junkie that wanders through looking for cigarette butts from ash trays outside the room. The bathroom bin that wasn't emptied from the previous guests with a massive ball of hair in it and rubbish. Light globes missing from lights. Air con so noisy we seriously thought it was the traffic from the 4 lane road outside. The rude owner who got offended when we didn't want to leave our belongings in his filthy bedroom/living area/ dining/ kitchen space. Let's not forget the blood stains on the blinds.

• Shelley (5/5): Only stay if you want a cheap room in the Adelaide suburbs - The location was perfect for my needs but I wouldn't stay here if you wanted to be close to anything, it is a little out of the way. Free onsite parking was great. Bed was comfortable enough. Having a microwave, crockery and cutlery was a bonus. Accommodated early check in which was great. I was in the back section of the motel so didn't get a lot of the road noise that people have mentioned in other reviews. The cost of $130 per night is a little high for the rundown out of date rooms. $110 - $115 would suit better. Being in the back section I did not have much phone service which wasn't a big deal until the wifi went down for over 24 hours. When I went to reception to ask about it, the lady had ZERO care about it. It was a shrug of the shoulders and I told they were out too and then walked away. There are some very noisy guests around who don't seem to care about other people. The 1st night was noisy but the 2nd night fairly quiet. I wouldn't expect too much when staying here. For me the bed was comfy enough, I took my own pillow so can't comment on the pillows there. I had a good hot shower with good pressure and that's about the extent of it. Don't expect great customer service, it is probably just passable in reception however the housekeeper was quite friendly and welcoming and always asked if I needed anything. At the end of the day, I went there for a cheap price point and got what I paid for. NOTE: The pictures on this listing are not exactly what you get. And definitely no Netflix as featured in one of the photos.

• Lindsay (3/5): - Location The first room I was given was a smokers' room, although all the room signs say no smoking. The manager apologises, relocating me to another room door handle torne off. Relocates me to yet another room tiles missing i the bathroom, but clean and smoke free. However, as most of the rooms have tables set up with ashtrays full. Most of the night, the smokers smoke enters the room, and twice on my first night, the fire alarm system went off. Once at 10.30 pm and the second time at 1.30 am . On top of all this. Every night except my last night stay. Couples were yelling and singing and using ugly language. which starts at 7.30 pm and goes until early morning for two of the three nights. Yes, the sign says affordable, but not clean, not safe if you were with your wife and children. This is not the accommodation I would recommend. Very poor. Go elsewhere.

We stayed at this motel about 7 -8 years ago and has gone down hill, outside the motel was very untidy, room was ok just needs updating plus cracks in the floor in the shower. Not happy at all because we couldn't use the pool as they were cutting down trees and it was hot when we were there and I pick the motel if it has a pool. I think the trees should of been done in cooler weather when people wouldn't want to use the pool. So we would never stay there again.

• Alinta (3/5): The place was great but the owner was very rude and ruined our stay - We didnt have breakfast we wanted to get out of there as quick as we could. The owner saw my nephew jumping the pool fence to get a ball and he started swearing at him and came busting in my room yelling at me and saying he was going to kick us out and call the police. He was very rude and I will never stay there again and I often come to Adelaide and am always looking for nice cheap places to stay. The owner!!!! Very rude !!!!

Highly recommend! the toilet kept making dripping noises that were quite loud at night, which disturbed my sleep a bit. and I ended up using earplugs to help me sleep.

Friendly helpful staff, clean quiet room at the rear. Ideal for us really with a well stocked gas station opposite. Didn't get to use the pool sadly.

• andrew (5/5): Had an extremely early hospital admission in the morning so needed somewhere cheap and reasonably close to stay overnigh - Location was handy Exposed wiring, fault sink, power point behind bedside cupboard, poorly patched ceiling, smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night, no free to air tv channels and gap in the blind/ window edge allowing light in keeping my daughter awake until the light went out about 5am
