- Diana (7/5): Affordable stay nearby Beppu station - Hotel is walking distance from the train station and clean. Affordable price. The curtains were not black out curtains so the sun would come in every morning. Hotel room is quite small but that’s expected for hotels in Japan

It was also very close to the station, literally a 1-2 minute walk from what I remember. They also provide free towels so that you don't have to pay for them in the onsen - overall, 10/10!
