- Francesco Antonio (10/5): Enjoyable and comfortable hotel close to Bastia - We stayed just one night but we loved the place. The room and the toilet was of big size, clean and renewed furniture. The breakfast was full of many food of good quality. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the garden. Service very kind and available for any support. We felt comfortable and we enjoyed the stay.

- Nicolas (6/5): Déçu par rapport à ce que je connaissais 😕 - Chez Walter ce n’est plus ce que c’était Chambre vétuste dans la salle de bain le nettoyage n’était vraiment Ps nickel( paroi de douche sale , le robinet prêt à tomber on ne pouvait pas prendre de douche le mitigeur ne fonctionnait pas pas , uniquement un bain Pas de sourire à l’accueil, ni au restaurant Le buffet hors d’œuvre et le menu n’ont rien de local contrairement à auparavant Dommage je ne reviendrai plus dans cet hébergement dont j’avais de bons souvenirs à chaque venue professionnelle a Bastia
- Verified traveler (4/5): Déçu - Sejour decevant on me contacte le midi pour me dire que ma chambre n est pas disponible suite à un problème technique. On me donnera une autre chambre le lendemain alors que je devais faire 3 nuits sucessives. La première chambre était impeccable mais le lendemain chambre vétuste odeur et poussière. Je previens la réception qui me donne une autre chambre, un peu mieux mais vraiment pas à la hauteur de la première. Aucun dédommagement

Les chambres ne sont pas sécurisées, la porte fenêtre ne ferme pas à clé, et lorsque je réclame, on me demande "en quoi ça me dérangé". Le confort de la literie est plus que moyen Il n'y a pas d'ascenceur et personne ne vous aide à porter vos valises !

N'y a t'il pas de règlement ?

- Nigel (10/5): Excellent place to stay near the airport. - This is the third overnight stay before a flight back to the U.K. The staff are so very friendly and helpful except perhaps the gentleman who may be the owner/manager. He could smile a bit ! The restaurant is vey good and excellent value.

Toujours notre première halte après l’arrivée en bateau tardive et toujours quelqu’un pour vous recevoir quelque soit l’heure . L'établissement est très propre, au calme, les chambres très correctes ( nous avons juste regretté avoir un lit en 140 ), et le petit déjeuner bien complet. l’hotel prend aussi les chèques vacances comme mode de paiement . Un grand parking bien pratique juste devant est aussi un plus. Nous recommandons cet hôtel .

- Janine (6/5): - We stayed for the late check in and proximity to the Bastia airport. The wall paper in the room was peeling from water damage and there may have been mold in the corners of the walls. Not the most pleasant hotel but the bed was fine and location convenient for the airport.

- franck (8/5): Bon hôtel pour une soirée - Arrivée tardive mais parfait accueil. La chambre était correcte et correspondait au descriptif. Par contre la propreté de la salle de bain ne correspondait à nos exigences ( présence de cheveux dans la douche...) .

I arrived early, but was not told I could wait in the empty waiting area or where I could order a drink & snack at the almost empty bar area whilst I waited for my room. The common toilet was not clean & dispenser had no soap. When I returned later, I found my room had not been cleaned, after all. The 2nd Receptionist was much nicer & more efficient, & sorted out my check-in

J’ai l’impression que les draps de bains ont été quotidiennement changés, dommage pour l’empreinte écologique. Dans l’ensemble, si je suis amené à revenir en Haute-Corse, j’y retournerais volontiers.

- Mehmet (6/5): 2 stjerne hotel for os - Meget små værelse, flot værelse dog ubehagelig seng og kundeservice er ikke så snaklige når du snakker engelsk. Genrelt er hele øen ikke til sproget engelsk, hvis du ikk kan italiensk eller fransk får du problemer. Dårlig morgenmad
- Jane (8/5): Great hotel near Bastia Airport - Chez Walter is much more than just an airport hotel - good sized rooms, lovely pool & garden, excellent restaurant and very helpful staff. I'll definitely stay there again next time I'm in Corsica.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Lit très confortable, par contre les draps n’ont pas été changer tout les jours. Sèche cheveux catastrophique. Une seule lumière qui fonctionnait dans la chambre. Travaux qui commence à 8h30 le matin, pas bcp d’isolation on entend le moindre bruit des voisins de chambres.
- Yves (10/5): une nuit sans souci - Une dernière nuit agréable en Corse avant de prendre l'avion. Ils ont répondu à l'ensemble de nos demandes. Le jardin, la piscine et surtout la terrasse du restaurant sont très agréables. un seul reproche la vue de notre chambre sur l'extérieur.

- susan (10/5): Good night's sleep in clean hotel. - Room was smaller than expected as description said 16m sq but bedroom was small with large bathroom. Welcome at Check in wasnt over friendly but rest of team including restaurant we're very kind. Hotel and restaurant very clean and clearly respect the current covid hygiene requirements. Bed comfy and had a good night's sleep. Restaurant quality and price correct for the area. Enjoyed 2 meals there.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Check in was slow. It opens at 11.30am according to Expedia, but our room wasn't ready at 1pm when we got to the hotel so they had to allocate us a different room. Cleaners weren't properly informed and walked on us as we were changing in the room ! Nice big pool but quite busy with kids. A fair number of restaurants in a 5-mile radius.
- ROGER (10/5): - Chez Walter only 3 stars but giving close to 4 star facility, service and good quality food. Very friendly, excellent, helpful staff. Ideally situated - only 10 mins from the airport and very easy to find. Great place for touring - Bastia only 20 mins away, St Florent just over 1 hour, Calvi 2 hr, Ajjacio 2.5 hr. Having stayed in the 'Carlton' in Nice...I would pick Chez Walter everytime for Quality of Food, Service and accomodation. Will stay again in the future and would recommend it without reservation.
- Scott (8/5): Good stay - Chez Walter is well located and good for a short stay. We really enjoyed the pool, breakfast, the large comfortable bed and the restaurant next door. The staff are very friendly. The hotel could do with a refurbishment to modernise it a bit.
- alixandra (8/5): Great place to stay prior to a flight - We stayed at Chez Walter the night before our flight from the Bastia Airport. We had an early morning flight to London the next day. The hotel is dated but the grounds are extensive. There are lawns, a pool and a tennis court. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.
