Guest Reviews
- Nathan (6/5): - I loved the staff. Didn't appreciate the classic post-covid "oops no breakfast anymore!" concept a lot of hotels are embracing, yet charging the same price. I picked this place because it was walkable to an Oktoberfest gig I was part of.
the paint in my bathroom ceiling was pealing like crazy... definitely not up to the standards of the pretty lobby.
Someone also tried to break into my room one night.. not sure if that was because they were drunk or because the front coded door was broken so the staff left it propped. up to your imagination on that one.
I'd have given this place 5 stars if they fixed the door, served any form of breakfast, and no one tried to beat down my door in the middle of the night. but I have high standards
- Tammi (2/5): Closed and didn’t let know - Arrived for stay for hotel to be closed and no notifications were sent to ud
- Nicole (2/5): Hotel closed and I wasn’t notified!!!! - Made reservations 3 months ago. Arrived at 10:30 pm at hotel to find a sign on the door saying it was closed for renovations! I was not notified of this. Had to find another hotel room for my 3 night stay. Tried calling and nobody answered. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional business practice. How do you close your hotel and not notify people who had reservations??? Unbelievable!!
- Semaj (2/5): Closed for renovations- unaware - The hotel was closed for renovations. I was never informed of the closure. I only knew about the closure when I arrived at the hotel on the day of check in to see a hand written sign saying “closed for renovations.” Every phone number was disconnected to the hotel. Very unprofessional and caused a lot of confusion and concern.
- Wyatt (2/5): DO NOT BOOK HERE - HOTEL WAS CLOSED WITH NO NOTIFICATION SO FAR NO REFUND DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!
- Monika (2/5): - The hotel is under renovation and no reservations should be made ,
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The carpets throughout were filthy. The elevator was gross and the room worst. I couldn’t walk barefoot at all - so dirty. Give your maid a magic eraser to clean the walls here and there.
- Elmer (4/5): - Homeless encampment 90 ft away
- Kim (8/5): - Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access
- Bill (2/5): - When I arrived for check in at the Mark Twain hotel. the receptionist informed me their system was not working with third party booking companies. She was unable to check us in so I had to book a room at another hotel.
How do I get a refund ?
- Hermelinda (2/5): - IF you want to shower you need to run the water at least for 5 minutes, the carpet is very dirty can't take your shoes out, the petrosal very disrespectful.
- Hermelinda (2/5): - They want me to charged again, when I have already payed. I showed them my my receipt.
The hotel it's not the best to stay in it,
The receptionist it was scramming at us because we didn't want to pay again.
if you want to shower you need to let the water run for at list 5 minutes so you can get hot water, the snick never got to get the hot water.
The blinds are broken you can closed them, so at night you get all the light form the parking lot. The carpet is so dirty you can't take your shoes. , they are ripoff, they take advantage of people.
- Kathleen (8/5): - generally okay. I chose it because it was located conveniently to the hospital.
- Garry (2/5): - I was charged 3 times for a room I could not stay in because the water to the building was off. This was a horrible experience literally ruined the entire trip. The staff was unfriendly and rude. Was even charged extra when requesting a refund. I'm upset and down right offended by this the treatment. I'm so glad I turned my life over to God this place would have been on fire. Why would Expedia recommend such a place.
- Eric (2/5): - I was not able to stay here because they were having computer issues. She asked us to come back in 45 minutes and then left! The door was locked, no one was answering the phone, and we were forced to go stay at a different hotel for the night!
- Ben (2/5): - My room wasn’t available when we arrived. I had to purchase a second room in order to stay the night. So frustrating, and completely not fair!
- Elizabeth (2/5): - Elevators were out! No discount given for the inconvenience. Front desk lady didn't seem to know what she was doing. Bar and restaurant were closed. Only good thing was it was close to were we needed to go.
- Christe (2/5): - Upon arrival, the homeless tents next door was the first sign of how our trip would go. Walked in, checked in, the lady at the counter was nice, however she informed us that the elevator was down and she didn’t know when it would be working. We at that point had to go up to the 5th floor in which was crowded due to all the guest. It also had an unpleasant smell. When we got to the room, the temperature had to be at 80 plus degrees. And did not smell good. The carpet was extremely stained and were uncomfortable even taking our shoes off. We went to the concert, and when we came back around 11:30 pm, decided to leave and not stay. Would not be going back to this hotel.
- Frank (2/5): - they did not have a record of my confirmed reservation. they were extremely unhelpful.
hotel restaurant/bar are permanently closed.
no elevator service.
Hotel is in disarray.
we left and found other acomodations.
- Jane (8/5): - Very convenient to the Riverside Park. What wasn't good was the elevators were broke --- we were on the 4th floor!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not recommended - Couldn’t get me checked in at first because they “didn’t get the reservation from Hotels.com.” Eventually the manager showed up and they figured it out.
Building is in rough condition on the outside.
Elevator didn’t work so we had to climb 5 flights of stairs.
Hot water was spotty at best. Shower took a long time to get Luke warm, then would get cold randomly
- Heather (4/5): - Disappointing
- Joy (4/5): - Left for 4 hours and came back to someone having entered the room & left without shutting the door, luckily nothing was missing.
Had no shampoo available in the bathroom. The coffee pot was dirty, the lids were the wrong size for the cups.
- Darla (2/5): - Greeting by desk person awful!! Our room hadn’t been cleaned! So gross!! No coffee! Loud loud air conditioner!
- Robert L (2/5): - I rarely write hotel reviews. This property used to be nice but is now long past its prime. We arrived at 2PM on a Saturday. There was a tent encampment across the street. The double doors from the hotel parking lot to the hotel were locked and there were no signs to explain. We walked around front and signs indicated entry after 9PM required a phone call. The lobby was very dimly lit and kind of creepy. There was no attendant immediately available. There were no other people present. The restaurant had a sign that it was permanently closed. Everything seemed in disrepair. We needed to walk back to the hotel about 10:30PM, after a nearby concert. Simply put, we did not feel safe. We didn't even bother checking in. We forfeited our $145 and found another hotel in a safer part of town. We would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. It is a bit surprising that Expedia even offers this property.
- Bryan (2/5): - We booked a king room through expedia. When we got to the hotel we stood at the front desk with a group of other people waiting to be helped. After 5 or so minutes a woman came out of an office behind the desk, wearing a pokemon shirt. No uniform, no professionalism. When it was our turn to be checked in, she notified us that our room had been over booked and there were no more king beds available. She offered to switch us to a queen bed room, but stated she "could not over ride the booking. Only a manager could do that" she then stated that the manager "wont answer phone calls or texts" but i would not be charged with a king room. I would only get charged for the queen room. She then had to figure out which rooms were clean, because she "had no idea what rooms are clean or dirty". After a while she came back down and assigned us a room. By the time we get to the room its already 8:30pm. We are exhausted, frustrated, and starving. We get to the room, and its a single twin matress room. We take a bunch of pictures of the room, room number, and matress and figure we will get it straightened out after dinner. We eat, we go back to the hotel and tell the same woman in the pokemon shirt tells me the twin matress room is the same price as the queen and she doesnt have a queen. But i can get a refund from expedia, because the manager wont answer calls. I contact expedia, what do you know. They tell me they can not do anything except reach out to the hotel. Been weeks. Still nothing.
- Mark (6/5): Mark Twain - Bonnie Raitt concert - Upon check-in the registration desk the clerk was unable to find my confirmed registration number. After repeated attempts to reach a live agent at Hotels.Com, I was finally able to make a connection. The Hotels.Com representative spoke directly to the hotel registration desk and was still unsuccessful in finding my confirmed reservation. Luckily the hotel was not sold out. We had to cancel my reservation from Hotels.Com and then make a new reservation directly at the hotel. This entire process was quite frustrating and stresssful as we were on a timeline to make it to a concert.
- Sasha (6/5): - I was swapped out of my initial room due to the door being off the hinges, my new room was dirty the microwave had food from previous guest bed covers were dingy and itchy I am unsatisfied with my stay it is a beautiful hotel that needs revamping
- ahmad (6/5): - It’s old Hotal
- Verified traveler (2/5): Understaffed, poor condition - Overall condition of the hotel has really gone down hill. Room was clean (had another incident previously where the bed had been slept in and there was vomit in the toilet) but everything seems to be very dated and marginal condition. The biggest issue was after picking up my employee at the airport, we arrived at the hotel at 9:15PM to find the front door locked with a note taped to the door that they would be back at 9:45. Used to use this place regularly but unfortunately too many bad experiences to continue using.
- Terry (2/5): - Closeness to event
- Tara (6/5): - No amenities
- Michael (6/5): Mark Twain is looking rough! - This could've been a really cool place to stay. Unfortunately One down and Dirty. Our check-in was excellent. Our service was excellent however it did not overcome the accommodations.
- Justin (10/5): - Check in was super easy and the lady at the check in was very professional.
- Kurt (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable room. Out of order note on outer door of parking lot and elevator. Elevator was confirmed to work by a maid despite note. Neighborhood is mostly cement but it was only a short walk to downtown activities. For the price I would stay again.
- Margaret (6/5): An aging hotel - As soon as my friend and I parked in the parking lot, we were accosted by a panhandler. As we were checking in, another man came into the lobby and asked the desk clerk to call the police. We were unsettled but our reservation was non-refundable. The hotel lobby had a library like decor with lovely wood, bookcases and leather furniture. The carpet was old and stained as was the carpet in the rooms. Coffee was available in the morning and the staff was friendly. Basically, this hotel has seen better days.
- Claire (4/5): Seen Better Days - Hotel was run down and not maintained well. TV didn't work. Shades didn't close. Elevator broke for a day. Everything was a little dingy. It wasn't sketchy, it just needs some love.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lots of character - Great hotel that had a lot of character. The lobby was perfect. Lots of. Ioks and wood panel walls and ceiling.
- Darnell A. (2/5): - The only thing I liked about this hotel was the book den style lobby upon entering. The outside appearance lacks the overall aesthetics of a clean hotel. The inside represents that as well. This hotel is very outdated. A complete overhaul outside and inside is definitely needed! By far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Thankfully, it was only for one night. Unfortunately, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone!
- Howard (6/5): - This is a hotel in the downtown district. The lobby is impressive, but the front desk is slow. The room could be cleaner. The blunds need to be changed and the old leather chair. The bathroom was clean and warm.
- Gary (4/5): - This property is old and worn out. It was a good for the price. Wouldn’t recommend staying again
- Jeremiah (10/5): - Had a good experience at this hotel. Thank you!
- Hum (6/5): - Friendly staff; location great to walk to anything downtown
Staff didn't know anything about the City; condition of the hotel suggests renovations are in serious order.
- Michelle (4/5): - Wow has this place ever hit the skids. I've stayed here several times because I like supporting independent places, but I will not be back. It's a shame- this used to be a really neat hotel. Now it's dirty, outdated, there are broken elevators, doors, and ice machines, the carpet is loose, the faucets are loose, the easy chairs are gone in the rooms, and it generally looks like a seedy place. My blinds didn't even work properly. I suspect that housekeeping is doing the best with limited resources that they can. It seems like the owner has decided to run this place into the ground.
- Charles (6/5): - Luck of the draw. Stayed two separate nights and one night had an updated clean room and the other, a out of date room with dirty carpets, an older bathroom, etc. Decent rates so can't complain about that, but don't be surprised if the room you get isn't the cleanest.
- Donald (10/5): Satisfactory stay - Multiple stains on a carpet is never appealing in a suite, but my suite was comfortable, quiet, and clean otherwise.
- Nicolas (2/5): - Got in late , had to move rooms 4 times and took over an hour to finally get into a ready room, because the other where not clean or ready to use.
- Charles (6/5): - Stayed here for 2 nights and the difference in the 2 rooms was night and day. One had a more up to date feel and I really enjoyed. The other, dirty carpet, older fixtures ans feel, just a complete opposite of the other room I stayed in. So I have to rate down the middle as you don't know what you'll walk into.
- Salik (2/5): - When we arrived around 9 pm to check in there were homeless people wandering around in its parking lot. The parking lot was connected to the rear of the hotel and the door seemed to be permanently sealed. We walked among homeless people to around the front of the hotel and the lobby was dirty and only one single light worked keeping it dark and dingy. The tired sole receptionist who was bzy explaining to another customer that there was no service personnel available to fix his room problems now, did not make eye contact with me but barked out “are you checking in”? There wa no hello welcome to mark twain hotel or any smile or pleasantries . We got 2 rooms. The first one did not have working AC so I called the reception but no one answered. I went and talk to the receptionist who told me they don’t answer their phone. Anyway she moved me to another room. This other room was dirty (bed was not made and looked like someone was sleeping there ) and stunk of tobacco. Meanwhile my son who was in other room called me to tell me there was no toilet paper and the towels were dirty with large brown stains and spots. At this point we went down to the receptionist and asked to be checked out and refunded. She told me she will not be able to refund me nor check me out till next morning but that we can leave and go to another hotel to sleep. She even gave some recommendations. She also said she will tell her manager next morning and so far I’ve not heard back from manager.
- Autumn (4/5): - Have always stayed at Mark Twain when going to events in Peoria. It has slowly declined over the years. Use to have a bar and restaurant in it. They have both closed. The carpet throughout the building is filthy. Love the location. I did hear it was sold and going to be renovated. It needs it.
- Come (10/5): - Nothing to add it is a good hotel
- Jared (2/5): - The area is dangerous and the hotel is a dump
- Terry (6/5): - This property was walkable to the Civic Center which was great. However, despite the fact that the lobby was very unique (looked like a library) it was dark - it needed more ambient lighting.
The rooms really need to be upgraded! I was told that this is happening floor by floor. Horizontal blinds in our room had no adjustment rod - had to be moved by hand.
Outside property needed to be cleaned up - weeds were seem all around the outside.
- Lori (4/5): - This older property would be just fine if we were a bit cleaner, and stocked with items such as soap, cups, toilet paper, working lightbulbs, and staff securing the front desk.
- scott (2/5): - I promise you that you do not want to stay at this property unless this is the only thing in your budget. Area was sketchy... no food in the hotel.
- Brendan (4/5): - Floors were dirty, shower/bathroom was unkept and popcorn ceiling was peeling. Bed sheets were dirty and we had no cover for the bed itself. We were lucky there was no bedbugs…this time. Staff was nice overall.
- Megan (4/5): - Our room wasn’t cleaned… the lady at the front desk was super sweet and got us into a different room.
The room itself was kind of grossed (musty green carpets with years of stains). The entire facility was worn down, broken and looks like it’s on its last legs.
- Caifang (8/5): - Close to the river and downtown. Good location.
- Kyle (2/5): - The staff did not know how to do their jobs and I was double charged
- Randall (8/5): - Close to civic center
- Octavia (4/5): - Bathroom was not cleaned. No towels when need, no one at the desk
- James (4/5): - A formerly iconic hotel, well located in Peoria. Better condition even last year during renovations. The renovations seemed to have been halted. I would love for the Mark Twain to be revived, but do not plan on staying when in town next year.
- Tiffany (6/5): - Not very clean. Needs an upgrade.
- Thomas (2/5): Mark Twain would never have approved! - The experience was horrible. The desk staff got into a fight and were vulgar in front of waiting guests including young people waiting to check in. They both eventually left with no service staff on the hotel premises. Some people said they had checked in, but could tell the beds were not made. The public bathroom smelled of urine and had not been cleaned for quite some time.
- Katherine (2/5): - Didn’t even sleep in the bed
- Ana (10/5): - Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The only weird thing was the shower didnt have a door. It was a walk-in shower with a glass pane covering half of it, the other half was just open so water got on the floor. But the pressure and temperature was nice and the room overall wasn't bad. It's a vintage type of place, it was perfect for my trip though and I definitely plan on staying here again.
- Whitney (4/5): Lucky To Get A Shower - The room was clean and everything was great until I tried to take a shower. First, I could not find the hot water on the faucet (it ended up being in the "C" range) and when I pulled up the knob to switch to the shower head, it came off in my hand. I was able to screw it back on, and then the water came out in a very weak stream. Then I tried to wash my hair, but the dispenser was out of shampoo--fortunately, I brought some of my own. I did manage to complete my shower, and I had to use a hand towel as a bathmat to keep from slipping as I exited the tub.
There was no fault whatsoever with anything else in the room--but had I discovered the faults with the bathroom upon my arrival, I would have asked for another room. As it was, I was undressed when I got into the shower and felt I had no choice but to go ahead as best as I could. I would think a hotel with no restaurant facilities would have more time and personnel to devote to room maintenance--but apparently this was not the case.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Decrepit - This is a once elegant hotel that has fallen into serious disrepair. Our room had just one lamp that wasn’t a ceiling light and it was broken. The room was clean. The bathrooms off the lobby were not. (The men’s urinals looked like they haven’t been cleaned in years.) The place seems to be understaffed. What staff there was appeared overworked. The bed was extremely hard. Friends in the hotel reported food in the fridge when they arrived and no coat hangers. (Our room had them.) Restaurant is permanently closed.
- Jason (2/5): - Ugh - it was terrible and nothing like the pictures
- Lasandra (2/5): HORRIBLE!!!!! I AM NOT PICKY, BUT this condemn it - This was the most run down old bucked up and stained rugs. Weed odor from guest and employees. The pictures is not updated. This is soooooooooooooooo rundown. NEVER AGAIN. SHEETS NASTY AND STAINED. My mom bed in her rm was half make up. One employee did come to remake it(which was great) Plus my brother booked another room and he stayed as well. He videoed employees leaving the desk and quest ready to check in and augueing in front of guest. Very unprofessional. That employee was one that helped make up the bed in my mom room. Only reason we did not leave is bc other hotels was booked that was close to us. We live 8 hrs away and was here for graduation. Im so glad i booked elsewhere the next night. RUN AWAY!!!!
- Beau (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay
- Todd (2/5): - Back door right by handicapped parking is locked, no longer used. Had to walk around the building. First room, non functioning tv. Moved to 2nd room, which had no tv remote. Was moved to 3rd room, which had non functioning tv AND broken A/C & heating unit. Sign read "Heat don't work." At that point, I asked for a refund, was refused, and left.
- Daniel (8/5): - I liked the Mark Twain theme.
- Rob (6/5): - I was satisfied with this hotel, for a one night stay. I saw a lot of complaints about dirty carpet, and I would agree that the carpet in the elevator had a lot of stains. However, the room was clean and had no issues with the room or the bathroom. It just seems the property is a little dated and they aren’t keeping up on all the maintenance. The ice machine on the six floor did not work but the one on the third floor worked great. Also, another minor thing is the stopper in the bathroom sink didn’t work, but does that really matter?
- Willie (2/5): - Staff got into argument and left hotel open. Rooms weren't clean.
- Mike (4/5): Disappointed - One of our rooms didn't have hot water, we didn't have enough towels, I went to the front desk, and the staff member was rude and told me they didn't have any left. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of rock. Check-in took forever, because multiple people had an issue with making a reservation, but no room was available. Thankfully, we at least had a room. It was a great location, but otherwise not what we expected.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor costomer service/cleanliness - The stay wasn't so good. The floors dirty beds not perfectly made and cleaned, water not hot in showers, charging one price and deducting another, and no breakfast for a huge price.
- Lawrence (4/5): - Tired and seedy hotel
- Diamand (6/5): - There are some rooms in this hotel which haven’t been updated or remodeled. The carpet in the room was distasteful. Everything else in the room was average.
- Emma (8/5): - This place's lobby is gorgeous and the rooms are very homey. The hotel appears clean and safe. It's a little run down but overall pretty good. I would recommend to a friend.
- Mario (10/5): - It was walking distance to my area of visit. Surrounding area was quiet, clean, and surrounded by some great bar and grills.
- Cassidy (2/5): Horrible- do not stay here. - When I arrived at the hotel I was given room 414 got to the room I noticed the door didn’t close all the way. I sat my items in the room and went out to inspect the door to make sure it closed. I got locked out of the room and was unable to get back in for 30 minutes. I ended up wiggling the door just right so that it was able to open. This made me late for my dinner reservation. I was told maintenance would come help me and nobody did. I was given a new room which was extremely dirty. The curtains did not close so it was extremely bright in my room very early. The bed was extremely hard. This place robbed me honestly. This was worth maybe $50 and I paid $115
- Emily (2/5): - Dirty. Enough said
- Rick (6/5): - Property outside is run down, trash on parking lot. There's no breakfast included, there hasn't been since covid. Lobby is dark, housekeeping left no bars of soap and a half roll of toilet paper. There were 7 people waiting to check in at 2pm when I arrived, but clerk said no check in until 3pm. One clerk was very nice , while the other not so much. When we checked out they couldn't find our reservation, and said someone else must have checked us out, so I couldn't get a receipt. Here's the bottom line.... we were only there 1 night, so it was tolerable, but there's many more options where you'll get your moneys worth.
- Brian (2/5): - Nothing absolutely horrible
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room was terrible, the AC kept kicking in out all night, there was no counter space for anything, the sink in the bathroom leaked
- Todd (4/5): - Bed was way to fiirm, should had another blanket to thin -did not like shower set up
- Michelle (6/5): - The staff was helpful and overall the hotel was pretty clean. However, the amenities they advertised online were not actually available. The biggest one being “free breakfast with made to order food”. The restaurant is shut down permanently, but we were not made aware of this at any point and only found out when we went to eat in the morning only to find a handwritten sign saying it was closed permanently and to ask at the desk for restaurant recommendations.
- Natalie (2/5): - Negatives: we walked into an unclean hotel room that was assigned to us. The customer service was terrible as the front desk didn’t offer us a discount or anything to make up for us walking into a dirty room, she just gave us another room. The new room was still not clean as there was still trash in the trash can and no hand soap was provided. The hotel was run down and didn’t seem clean to any extent.
Positives: the hotel door locks worked.
- Daniel (2/5): - Our experience was unfortunately not what we had hoped for. From the moment we arrived, there were signs that this place needed serious attention. The exterior of the building bore visible cracks and neglected paintwork, with awnings showing wear and tear. The presence of exposed wires added to the overall sense of neglect and lack of maintenance.
One of the concerning aspects was the structural integrity of the building itself. It was apparent that the windows and air conditioning units were not properly aligned, suggesting potential issues with construction or upkeep. This, coupled with the general disrepair, raised safety concerns.
Navigating the hotel's layout only added to our unease. The back entrance, facing the parking lot, was inaccessible, forcing us to take a detour past what appeared to be an abandoned restaurant. This lack of a functional entry point detracted from any sense of security or comfort.
Upon glimpsing the lobby, it became evident that the organization and upkeep of the interior mirrored the external state of disrepair. This further solidified our decision to seek alternative accommodations, prioritizing our safety and peace of mind.
While our experience was disappointing, we hope that this review serves as a cautionary note for fellow travelers. It's essential to prioritize safety and comfort when choosing accommodation, and unfortunately, the Mark Twain Hotel fell short in these regards during our visit.
- Shelly (8/5): Room 610 - We’ve stayed before. This time our room was very dated. The carpeting needs replaced. The 2 double beds were very uncomfortable and made clunking noises when we got up to use bethroom. We had a great view in our room and the coffee in the room was excellent.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nope, not goin' back - When we arrived to our room, the door was wide open, bed unmade, andvtrash everywhere in the room. The next room we were given was cleaned, but this hotel can use many upgrades and refreshes. The carpet bunched up, furniture was in poor condition, and bathroom faucet barely worked to mention a few things.
Also, not an overly strong sense of security at this property.
- Jason (8/5): - Hotel is showing it's age. Rooms are decent, but definitely need some basic maintenance.
- Fay (6/5): Great location from Civic Center!! - Staff worked very hard to accommodate !! A few corks, but they worked it all out. At the beginning , issues with the front door entry, but that must’ve gotten fixed . Overall 7out 10 👍
Bonus: few blocks to Civic Center!!!
- JOHN (2/5): - The property is extremely outdated and extremely dirty.
No effort is made to make repair's or even to clean anything.
The elevator didn’t even read the correct floor and actually read two different numbers for our floor neither of which was correct.
Very very very dirty.
This place should be closed.
- jay (10/5): - A good choice for staying if attending an event at the Civic Center; a short walk. Our room was fine, and there is plenty of parking. I would stay here again just for the easy walk to the arena. No breakfast or amenities to speak of, but I was aware of that when booking.
- Shelly (8/5): Room 610 - We’ve stayed before. This time our room was very dated. The carpeting needs replaced. The 2 double beds were very uncomfortable and made clunking noises when we got up to use bethroom. We had a great view in our room and the coffee in the room was excellent.
- Nicole (2/5): - The pictures on website are 20 years outdated. Rooms had dirty carpet and not clean. Hotel room door didn’t even close properly.
- Hayley (2/5): Mark Stain - Where do I begin? Probably the broken elevator with no sign of potential repair and my 4th floor stay… The carpet in my room was full of stains - just gives the room an unclean look already. The room itself had a bad odor to it. The shower was completely out of body wash with horrible water pressure. The toilet hardly flushed. Bad phone signal. Just an overall bad stay. You can stay at the other 2 hotels in the area for the same price with a way more comfortable stay.
I will not be returning.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Slow check in, beds are hard as a rock. - They had one person working the counter on a night with a big concert. We had to stand in line for 45 minutes just to check in and the person at the desk had no sense of urgency.
