- Alain ERIC (9/5): A home away from home. - A home away from home. Un posto accogliente con uno staff famigliare e sempre disponibile ed un arredamento originale e confortevole. Una notte impeccabile ed una colazione strepitosa. Materassi forse un po' duri (de gustibus) ed un proteggi materasso troppo plastico.
- Francesco (9/5): Beautiful and confortable - Very beautiful inside and very nice room. Nothing
- Christel (10/5): -
- robert (5/5): - Thin walls and noisy
- maria rosaria (10/5): - L arredamento la colazione il giardino Tutto perfetto

- Stuart (9/5): Perfect - Beautiful privately owned and run villa-hotel. Very peaceful location and public spaces allowed ys to feel really at home. The staff (mainly family) were charming and helpful. Perfect for a romantic break!
- Deppie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Egle (10/5): A very nice and stylish boutique hotel - All perfect and the style very peculiar
- Anat (9/5): Superb -
- Brad (7/5): Good - Nice patio, very helpful and friendly staff. Room was a little small for our needs
- Willem (8/5): Very nice and convenient stay - The location and the style of the hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean.
Staff was very helpful. The elevator seems to be a little too sensitive.
- Doron (9/5): Superb - Excellent place and amazing breakfast
The family was great helping and gave excellent service
- Roberto (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melanie (9/5): The perfect place to enjoy Rome and stay in a calm environment away from the tourists. Nevertheless close enough to walk - Everything! Staff is lovely. Rooms are lovingly furnished. Nice breakfast (only sweet though) Nothing
- Fidelma (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully designed interiors that offer something unique and stylish. The gardens were so peaceful. The location is a short walk to a beautiful park and you can either walk or catch public transport easily.
The staff were so helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of things to choose from. Nothing at all!
- Tashg (9/5): Superb - This is like an oasis near center of the big city. A perfect place.
Just amazing No sour breakfast, only dolce. This is a bit upsetting/
- Peter (10/5): We had a very enjoyable stay. - Massino was so kind and helpful. He was really the highlight of our stay!!! The location was nice and quiet and away from all the busyness of the sites. We would definitely stay there again. Not a lot of eating options in the area.
- Lidiia (10/5): Great place - The hotel is unique, great design with attention to details. Very friendly staff, they helped to carry a suitcase, call a taxi.
The hotel is very quiet, it is located in a wonderful area, there are not many tourists around. I would like to especially thank the hotel workers who made incredible espresso in the morning, it was very tasty! Everything was wonderful
- Sophie (10/5): Loved our stay, beautiful little hotel! - Loved the arty boutique feel of the hotel, felt very homely and tranquil
- Ann (9/5): A delightful and comfortable home from home in Rome - It’s more like a home from home than a hotel. It’s in a quiet area outside the historical centre of Rome. The bedroom was double aspect and tastefully decorated overlooking the hotels outdoor verandah. The owners were really helpful and couldn’t have done any more for us. They recommended a nearby restaurant which was so good we went both nights we were there! You’ll need a bus or a taxi to get to the historical city centre.
- Luca (10/5): A nice place at a reasonable price - Room was great. Staff was professional and welcoming. Services were good. Breakfast was complete, fresh and well prepared
- Nandkumar (8/5): Amazing and surreal stay. I would go again and stay in this property. - An amazing property with nice courtyard bursting with plants and flowers. I really liked the location and ambience. It is hit far from center but that’s the reason it’s quiet and tranquil. We preferred it this way so when we were back from our touristy things it was nice to sey in the courtyard and we enjoy the quiet with birds chirping in background. Overall it was good. Breakfast is basic )looks like that’s what Italian breakfast is like) coffee, bread, croissants, fruits, cakes, no eggs or bacon etc. however we preferred it as we could go out and enjoy Rome delicacies 😊
- Chai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keith (9/5): Things are done right here. - Family-run, and it shows in the really attentive, helpful approach from everyone working there. Great attention to detail and professionalism in the way the place is run. Fantastic breakfast. Located in a very quiet neighbourhood. A really comfortable stay.
- Pamela (9/5): Superb - Villa Linneo is a lovely hotel with a wonderful breakfast and beautiful garden seating. The staff were very helpful and accommodating - Carola, Massimo and Alessandra went out of their way to help me and gave me helpful tips on Rome.
- John (7/5): Very small and nice modernized 1920s facility in a beautiful location. The Linneo staff was super. - Staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and gracious. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable which was our only negative experience.
- Madelon (8/5): I had an appointment nearby which was why I chose this hotel. Very practical - Good breakfast Very hard beds
- Paula (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable. Check bus schedules for public transportation. - Friendly and flexible staff. Beautiful location, very peaceful. A bit far from tourist attractions. But check the bus schedule for public transportation.
- Maureen (10/5): Hotel was perfect - Small and intimate hotel . Lovely room, lovey breakfast- everyone together at a large table. Food was lovely. Staff were excellent- couldn’t be more helpful No
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- James (9/5): This is a wonderful place and is highly recommended. - The staff was wonderful! Walter, Julia and Giorgio were so friendly and helpful. There are no restaurants nearby but that contributes to the tranquility of the location.
- Lampros (7/5): Good -
- Lara (8/5): Very good -
- Jovan (10/5): Exceptional - I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Linneo in Rome. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance from Park Borghese. Finding the hotel was a very easy , and I couldn't have asked for a better experience
- Julie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stephen (9/5): Very high quality and personalised service - Unique design and beautiful location
- Anonymous (1/5): Avoid as unprofessional & unhelpful - Nothing they turned us away on arrival & stated they had double booked the room They turned us away didn’t put us up for the night elsewhere. Didn’t pay for our €60 taxi that it cost us travelling to the hotel. And didn’t find us alternative accommodation. Still haven’t refunded the €320 + €60 taxi 10 days later. When I phone up just make excuses
- Donna (8/5): Very lovely boutique hotel tucked away in a quiet area. - This is a quaint boutique hotel outside of the busy part of Rome. It was comfortable and the staff were lovely. The breakfast was just ok. For someone who does my eat breads and pastries, there was very little for me. However they were lovely about getting us a second latte and whatever else they could do for us.
- Liliana (10/5): Exceptional - Such a great find! The most wonderful staff (Georgio could not have been more helpful or kind), big rooms, clean and great little outdoor patio, tucked away in the most quiet neighborhood. Would absolutely stay again.
- Victor (9/5): Superb -
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional - I had an excellent stay: Friendly staff, quiet area, awesome house and rooms. Breakfast outside on the terrace was particularly nice.
- Russell (9/5): Superb -
- Predoi (9/5): Superb - The location was beautiful and it gave us an impressively quiet area. The rooms were cleaned daily and they also had a beautiful layout. The interior and exterior design of the villa was very warm and welcoming. Everything was excellent! The diversity of the breakfast left something to wish, considering its lack of options for diabetic individuals (too little protein).
- Hlondon (9/5): Very friendly receptionist team in an extremely nice hotel - The location is fantastic in a quiet enviroment, 30 minutes walking distance from the city center.
The AC is really good, it works properly! Anyway, the most distinctive feature of the Villa Linneo is the friendly atmosphere of all the staff working in the hotel particularly both receptionists Giulia and Johanna who were very nice and problem solving with all our requests. Thank you Giulia and Johanna. It´s a very quiet hotel, rooms are nice, can be improved with an extra sound proof isolation.
- Mircea (10/5): Great value for money - Villa Linneo is a small, lovely property with boutique hotel vibes; staff is extremely friendly and helpful, accommodating any requests.
Conveniently located to the city center, the hotel is accesible by foot, e-scooters or a Vespa, in case you don't consider a taxi.
- clarehannon (10/5): Bella boutique hotel - We stayed at Villa Linneo on our trip to Rome and really recommend it. It is in a gorgeous peaceful neighbourhood, a short stroll to the Villa Borghese park and museums on the way to the city centre.
The hotel is stylish and our room was perfect even for 4 people!
There is a really nice breakfast room /communal area with fab books and sofas to read. There is also an outdoor seating area.
Breakfast was lovely with freshly baked cakes and croissants and the owners and staff were so welcoming and helpful.
- Gabriella (10/5): Tranquil and beautiful with a friendly welcome. - The hotel was like a splendid guest house. Giulia couldn’t do enough for us throughout the stay - nothing was too much trouble. The place is so calm and quiet, away from the busy city centre. The room and the communal spaces are beautiful. Once we realised the quickest way through the back streets and the park, Flaminio metro station, Piazza del Popolo and Spanish steps are all within walking distance. Nothing for us. Probably not the place for people who can’t walk very far/well due to the quiet location.
- Gabriele (9/5): Superb -
- Ron (9/5): Would definitely return. - Very homey and comfortable in a beautiful neighborhood. Must take a taxi almost everywhere but not far.
- Gretchen (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Perfect, elegant, welcoming, and tranquil boutique hotel in Rome. Many thanks -
- Eduardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenny (10/5): Old style quality and comfort well managed by attentive hosts, an oasis of Rome. - Hotel Villa Linneo is a hidden gem in a quiet street north of the Borghese Gardens. It offers a calm oasis amidst the bustle of Rome, and oozes a quality and class like stepping into a vintage movie. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished with fine antiques and the hosts are welcoming, attentive and charming. The hotel sits amidst a gated garden and is ideally located just a short walk via the Borghese Gardens to Piazza del Popolo. Breakfast is an Italian feast of Prima Colazione classics including a strudel to die for and all the other sweet cake and pastry favourites that define the Italian start to the day. The grand sitting room is a place of calm with drinks available on request while you ease into the grand, welcoming furniture.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Oona (10/5): Exceptional - perfect
- Amy (10/5): Is far exceeded expectations and the staff, breakfast and his were amazing!!! - Everything was awesome!! I liked everything and everyone!
- Bettina (8/5): Home away from home in Rome - located in a beautiful upmarket and quiet neighbourhood area near the park. it’s not a hotel as such, more like staying in a sumptuous private residence. the Room and bathroom were very spacious, with lovely decorative detail. Italian breakfast in the main lounge is very generous and can be enjoyed in a lovely setting. I also really enjoyed the outside terrace to unwind after the hectic and crowds in town. The team are all very friendly and helpful, more like hosts of a private home then hotel staff, so its charming, but, depending on who is on duty, not consistently efficient.
- Wajnert (8/5): Very good - Design of hotel. Breakfasts: only sweets (cakes, jams) no vegetable, no cheese....
- Dmitrii (9/5): Superb -
- Liron (9/5): Superb -
- Dawn (9/5): Superb - Great breakfast in a lovely room. My bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff,
- Simpson (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (10/5): I stayed for 3 nights in a Superior Room although I only booked a Standard Rokm - The property is in a quiet area in a lovely residential area just outside the centre. I stayed here alone but was traveling with friends who stayed in another hotel nearby. I really enjoyed my stay, I would recommend Villa Linneo and would recommend. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you!
- Giuseppe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Such a beautiful hotel which was such a lovely way to start off a trip. The staff were great and we really enjoyed our b - Beautiful quiet location within a 10 minute walk of the very large park Nothing!
- Pol (8/5): Very good -
- Delia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (10/5): Lovely hotel with friendly accommodating staff. - Wonderful staff, lovely continental breakfast with great coffee. Loved the setting and outdoor garden. Have already recommended to friends. Would definitely stay here again.
- Marian (10/5): My only regret was not staying longer at Villa Linneo. We loved it here. - Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was helpful and generous.
- Johnny (10/5): Exceptional - Hotel was great. Staff was experimental and went beyond our needs. Very nice neighbourhood.
- Gabriela (10/5): Exceptional - The interior design was wonderful! We felt like at home! The staff was really great!
- Diego (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laurie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandra (9/5): Lovely stay - we enjoyed it. Thank you! - Lovely villa with kind staff Our second night was a bit noisy as the house bell (which could be clearly heard in our junior suite) went off quite a bit at night.
- Maria (9/5): really charming hotel- exceptional art - the staff were charming - nothing was too much trouble slightly challenging for a short visit to Rome - as slightly removed form the sites we wanted to explore
- Jeremy (10/5): I lovely beautiful hotel in which to relax and see Rome - The hotel was excellent and in quiet location. A 20 minute walk got you to the Piazza di Poppolo/via del corso. The staff (Fabio/Carola/Massimo)were so helpful and willing to help you on all of your requests. The breakfast was excellent and catered for most tastes-fresh fruit, croissants, yoghurts, cereal etc. Can't fault our stay!
- Amy (9/5): Superb - The breakfast is fabulous!!! The location is lovely and quiet. The accommodations are gorgeous. We needed a late checkout because of our departure tickets and they were happy to accommodate. Giaime at the front desk was fantastic!! He helped us with everything: sightseeing tour recommendations, booking out train ticket, make taxi arrangements, telling us about the breakfast, evening recommendation for dinner, etc. Our trip was made better by him. We were so glad he spoke English fluently and was enthusiastic in helping us as it was our first time to Rome. I do wish when we checked in they told us about the breakfast because we missed it on the first day not knowing it was being served. We definitely made sure we were at it the following days. The location is lovely but a little tricky to get around since it is not close to all the sightseeing locations. We solved that problem with using the e-scooters to get back and forth from out hotel to the city center. Get the 24 hour pass! At night we took a taxi back to our hotel which was very simple to do.
- Riccardo (9/5): Quaint b&b in lovely location -
- Judy (9/5): wonderful charming hotel - Staff were extremely helpful and lovely in all ways. room was completely comfortable with good amenities.
- Jeeves1960 (10/5): Nice little hotel in Parioli - In a peaceful green street there is this little hotel with a nice garden and a stunning atmosphere.
The staff is very kind and welcoming, the rooms delicious and the hall is very very pleasant, there is also a nice garden
- kittycat199 (8/5): Cute hotel, in a quiet location - Intimate hotel in quiet location. A walk across the park takes you to the center of things.
Massimo was very helpful and spoke good English.
Breakfast was delicious, Massimo even baked some of the tasty treats.
- Nojjers (10/5): Stylishly decorated boutique hotel in a peaceful area - Located just north of Villa Borghese and a pleasant 15-20 minute walk into the main walled area of Rome through the park/gardens. This boutique hotel is beautifully presented, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, spotlessly clean, and feels like your perfect home rather than a hotel. We spent all our time in the main city, but would have loved to just spend time lazing in the hotel's small gardens if we'd had time.
The buffet breakfast was piled high in the centre of a big table with other guests and included fresh coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, lots of cakes, pastries, biscuits, yoghurt, cereal, sometimes hams and cheeses, etc.
We would definitely return on our next visit.
- 858viviann (10/5): Tranquillity and wonderful service - A real find, just outside the Borghese Gardens, walkable into the centre and with a tram route that goes direct to the Vatican and conncts easily to others going to the centre. Peaceful quarter, away from the heat and noise, and an amazing variety of choice for breakfast around the large table. There are lots of fascinating art works in the public rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful - one of the owners even came out as we left for sightseeing to apologise for not being on duty the next (our last) day, and to wish us well for our remaining stay and return. The garden was a little haven of peace, yet so close to the centre. And, because one was coming to the attractions from the opposite direction to most tourists, one avoided much of the hassle of getting around Rome.
- martinbQ9221RT (10/5): An oasis for city travellers - The hotel is a villa located in a beautiful part of Rome. Easy to reach the rest of the city with public transport or by foot. The villa is furnished very stylish. The rooms are quit and modern. You find all kind of spaces inside and outside the villa were just can sit and relax. It is a perfect place to withdraw after wandering around in the city or business meetings. It is like coming home. The breakfast is typical Italian. The villa has a free and fast internet connection.
