• Janette (10/5): - We received excellent service from our hostess with the mostess who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The Wi-Fi was intermittent but we though that this was due to the wind.
• mike (1/5): total rip off. - view ftom balcony hard to find. all tv programes have to pay. Not serviced. Definitly not what ones expects from a penthouse. just a average 3 bedroom flat. Only stayed 1 night then moved to something better at 60% of the price.
• Phindile (10/5): A lovely stay over and definitely will use it again should time permit! - The penthouse was spacious and everything needed was there 👌🏽 The collection of books 📚 was a pleasure to view and I got hooked to Sindiwe Magona's collection, a great surprise to find out when on vacation. A beautiful treasure! The main bathroom needs mats

• Bhardwaj (4/5): - Location and views are very good from the property I booked it for 4 nights and 3 out of those four day not able to sleep properly because of lot on sound coming from ceiling and roof when weather is windly. Althea is always helpful through out the holidays and always response immediately if there is query or issue. Finally on the last night issue was sorted.
• Sue (9/5): Delightful place to stay if it’s not windy! - The views were spectacular and the accommodation was perfect for the 4 of us The wind!! Something on the roof banged all night and kept us awake

I think it is slightly overpriced but I guess so is all Cape accommodation

House is bright, sunny cosy and comfortable it is clean and perfectly equipped. Seaviev from the balcony/deck is staggering with a great outlook. Close to many attractions. Excellent service ! Kind warm and helpful. Enjoyed our stay ,and will definitely return. A gateway to remember. Unforgettable ! 10 out of 10 Cannot fault this Beautiful Holiday Home.

I would not recommend - good view I seldom write reviews however feel like this property is mis portrayed: Firstly, the property requires significant maintenance - several broken blinds; filtered water tap in kitchen not working; dishwasher makes a tapping noise; jacuzzi not working; outdoor furniture is tired; sliding door between dining room and patio was off railing and could not be opened; washing machine detergent drawer really dirty; kitchen knives require sharpening Secondly, there are certain quality or standard levels that were not great - for example, there is a really poor washing line that has been hung within the jacuzzi room and looks shabby. Thirdly, there were some safety issues that weren’t great for young kids that I was not aware of - there’s a security gate between the bedrooms and living room - there is a 6inch gap between the gate and floor that has been ‘filled’ by metal spikes downward facing to the floor that could easily catch a toddler’s feet and there is no way of latching the door open - we used a chair which allowed us to intercept the kids if they played with the gate. additionally, there used to be a screen (per-specs / glass I assume) on the patio in front of the railing - this has broken and not been replaced with some of the corners broken off and still remaining. The floor to the patio is painted black - it gets too hot to sit outside and far to hot for kids little feet. we only used the patio in the early morning or evenings. I appreciate there can be a lot of wind - but some measures could be taken to make the patio more welcoming. in the main bathroom, in the shower, there are was a metal soap holder that has broken off, yet the protruding metal has not been removed and caught my arm while showering with my toddler. furthermore - there were cockroaches in the under sink cupboard, and jacuzzi room. it was rather off-putting.
