- Robert and Karen (10/5): Lovely Historic Stay in Deloraine -
- Naveen (10/5): - Everything
- rosalie (10/5): A special place to stay - Gorgeous rooms, close to Woolworths, a walk to the pub but the best aspect was the knowledge our hosts had for the very pretty area of Deloraine. The delightful little touches...freshly baked bread, fresh apples and a bag of home grown walnuts made our stay even more special. There was not one aspect of our stay we didn't like
- Guy (10/5): Wow, What a place - Lovely place to stay. Peter and Georgia were exceptional host and gave my wife and I outstanding service. The variety of apples ready for picking was our daily activity for breakfast and juices.
- Karen (10/5): Luxury heritage accommodation in beautiful locaton. -
- steve (10/5): Just great I will definitely return - I liked everything
Clean
Very friendly hosts
Close to town

- Gayle (10/5): We felt spoilt, well looked after and enjoyed every moment. - Warm welcome by the owners, gave us loads of information about what to do nearby. Beautifully presented cottage. Special treats to welcome us. Nothing, it’s delightful.
- Krystal (10/5): Great - Every thing 😊 Having to leave 😩
- Scott (10/5): Excellent, beautifully presented B and B with fabulous hosts. - This is a beautfully presented B and B with very warm and informative hosts. Breakfast provisions were great, the decor was lovely and there is nothing to fault. Enjoyed a BBQ on the grounds.
- Annika (10/5): -
- Greg (10/5): - Loved the place
Highly recommend staying here it was awsome Nothing
- Alfred (8/5): -
- loneysan (10/5): Deloraine delight - We loved the Quamby Cottage. It was cosy and clean and more than enough room for us to spread out and enjoy. We loved having a kitchen, plus the supplies from Peter and Georgia were wonderful. Fresh bread, eggs, milk, juice and bacon as well as a cheese plate and jam and apples. We couldn't ask for more. Can't think of anything we didn't like!
- Haf (10/5): -
- Jemma (8/5): Great location - Great location NA
- Sowter (9/5): Friendly and welcoming - Ok Ants on the bed.
- fiona (10/5): Charming slice of history - Tastefully decorated with antiques ,spacious, comfortable, large bathroom, lots of goodies including local raspberry jam, apple juice, apples, walnuts, homemade bread etc. Plus cereal, bacon, eggs, port, chocolates! Owners were lovely and took the time to explain the history of the property and suggest places to visit. Great location with 5 min walk to pub, supermarket and town. Easy parking. Enjoyed watching DVD’s for a change.
- Sahaja (10/5): Exceptional heritage experience. - Exceptional accommodation. Charming, super clean, quaint, comfy beds, lovely, helpful hosts. So much attention to detail. Bacon and eggs for breakfast, fresh bread on arrival. Amazing accommodation...don't think twice you won't be disappointed 🎉
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional hospitality provided by the owners! - Tastefully decorated and beautiful grounds.
- James (10/5): Excellent - Everything and more. Exceptional reception, room and location. The house is a charm. Loved everything about it. Try as I might, there is nothing I can fault about it. Georgia and Peter were the most hospitable of hosts. I would totally recommend. Thoroughly exceeded my group's expectations. Thank you for the travel tips, dinner suggestions, the wonderful stay and memories. 11 out of 10! Would definitely return if I'm in the area again. I think the electric blanket in one of the bedrooms isn't working. But we didn't attempt much to try to get it to work. Maybe we missed something. I'm sure the host will sort it out for future guests who need it. Regardless the bed was adequately equipped with the warmest most comfortable of quilts and blankets and bedding. Wasn't cold at all. Otherwise, everything else is perfect. I'll definitely recommend 1000%.
- Linden (10/5): - Lovely accommodation, very comfortable. They were very generous with their lovely food. It was also very quiet and private.
- Ian (9/5): -
- Christopher (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which began with a warm welcome. - Everything about the property was impressive. Magnificent Manor, with location close to all facilities. After being on the road for several days, the nearby laundromat, also in a heritage building, was very convenient. Woolworths which was walking distance was also open to 10pm. The owners were very welcoming and could not be more helpful or genuine with their local suggestions. Nothing.
- Andrew (9/5): had a lovely break and the hosts very helpful -
- Tina (10/5): The warmest welcome ever!!! - The warm welcome, the wealth of information, the gorgeous room, the comfort level, the bread. The last of those was one of the many examples of the owners’ genuine feelings towards their guests.
- Nicola (10/5): We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Blake’s Manor & would highly recommend it. Deloraine & the surrounding area i - Friendly & knowledgeable hosts. Homemade bread on arrival & other treats provided. Characterful property. Nothing

- John (8/5): Blakes Manor in Beautiful Deloraine - We liked the wuiet location, the friendly hosts and the privacy of our self contained cottage.
It was well equipped with a full litchen , featuring everything you could want in accessories.
We saved on cafes by making a lot of our meals.
Overall, the accommodation was comfortable.
Deloraine has a host of attraction .in the surrounding area. Lots to see for all ages. I am partially disabled and found the stairs tricky.
Also it was a bit of a hik tobthe car with a walking stick on a frosty morning.
- Linda (10/5): Great location in town, comfortable, cosy and the hosts were lovely. - A lovely historic home with decor to suit the period. Very comfortable and cosy and the hosts provided everything that you would need. Breakfast supplied was more than ample and the home-baked bread was a treat! The hosts were very welcoming and a great source of information on the area. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

- valerie (10/5): - Georgia and Peter are wonderful hosts. Our room was so comfortable and included everything you'd need for self catering. Loved the freshly baked bread and loose leaf tea. An easy walk into town. Deloraine Espresso makes the best coffee and we enjoyed our meals at The Empire Hotel.
- Jennifer (10/5): Magnificent Blakes Manor - Blakes Manor is an absolutely delightful heritage B & B in which to stay. We had 2 nights there and our hosts Peter & Georgia made us feel very welcome. The room is decorated in the heritage style to suit the Manor and the gardens are a delight. It is immaculately clean and cosy and within a 5 minute walk to the shops and a pub. We were presented with a "fresh out of the oven" loaf of bread when we checked in and there were so many "goodies" provided in the fridge for breakfast including bacon & eggs. A glass of port & chocolates topped it off! Such a wonderful place to stay to explore and enjoy Deloraine and the Great Western Tiers area.
- Patrick (8/5): Good property - Great property, owners excellent. Only downside was the unit had too much furniture, and too many nicknacks
- Christine (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (8/5): Very good - It was a lovely place to stay and they provided some very nice touches such as freshly baked bread and walnuts grown in the area. The owners were very helpful with things to do in the area.
- Scott (9/5): We totally enjoyed Blake’s Manor and definitely recommend this accommodation. - Loved the character of the premises and the location.
- Narelle (10/5): Exceptional - A warm welcome, friendly hosts, comfortable beds, fresh bread and cheese platter on arrival all contributed to a delightful stay in Quamby Cottage. Georgia and Peter were founts of local knowledge on things to see and do in and around Deloraine. The fresh tomatoes were a bonus - thank you 😊. A great heritage place to stay.
- Jennifer (10/5): Country hospitality at its best - We would definitely, stay at Blakes Manor again. The hosts, were very welcoming and hospitable, providing us with fresh baked bread and breakfast provisions. The heritage accommodation set in a lovely garden, was charming, and very comfortable. nothing

- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (10/5): - The hosts were absolutely beautiful. Their consideration to their guests was very appreciated. Beautiful time spent there.
- Helen (9/5): Superb - Privacy, breaky, the gardens, the owners Would like more light on LHS. Microwave too high to reach. TV too low
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - My stay was wonderful. I greatly valued the lovely breakfast that enabled me to make the most of my day.
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pamela (10/5): The best B and B worldwide. Georgia and Peter are the most welcoming and knowledgeable young entrepreneurs of this compe - Gorgeous manor oozing colonial history Nothing
- Lindie (10/5): Beautiful place to celebrate our 12th Wedding Anniversary - Great service, lovely little extras with the accommodation, local knowledge of what we could do and see was appreciated, comfortable bed, beautiful decor, loved the history of the building, delightful gardens Couldn’t pick anything we didn’t like
- Alleyne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ralph (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (10/5): Beautiful Blake's Manor - Our suite was spotlessly clean and more than what we were expecting. Beautifully styled and everything we needed and more. Noise from the above suite is quite prominent when guests are residing there.
- Rosemary (9/5): Lovely heritage accommodation in the heart of Deloraine - Lovely to stay in heritage accommodation right in the heart of Deloraine. We very much appreciated all of the tourist 'treats' in the area and the history of the accommodation and all of the extras in the room. bit of a concern about the step into the bathroom, perhaps a bit of coloured tape?
- Sue (10/5): Like stepping back in time but with all modern conveniences makes for a wonderful experience. - The friendly welcome on arrival, the period charm of the furnishings and the comfortable accommodation. Wonderful welcome package including homemade bread. We wanted for nothing.
- Jennifer (9/5): Peaceful and relaxing stay - Beautiful garden. House was homely with pictures on the wall and breakfast in the fridge. There was nothing to dislike on the property.
- Maria (9/5): Amazing hosts who truly welcomed us - Loved the friendly and helpful hosts who went out of their way with advice and additional extra provisions such as fresh baked bread and hazelnuts from their garden.
- Howard (10/5): Fabulous and generous hospitality - Exceptional hospitality - great breakfast goods, eg freshly baked warm bread, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, milk, juice, jam, chocolates, cheeses, biscuits, port and the facilities to cook including cooking oil - everything thought of. Grandchildren had dvds to watch, a garden to play in and there were outdoor picnic tables etc etc. we even received a gift of home-grown walnuts!
Location was great for walking to restaurants. Nothing. It was a wonderful stay - best on our trip.
- Brett (7/5): Good - We appreciated the central location in the town and also as a base for us to travel to different places. We liked the freedom to come and go as we needed. We enjoyed the welcoming food and gifts(fresh bread).
The outdoor setting was a beautiful spot to enjoy wine&cheese with friends . Not to be too critical , but not having a window in each room . Also, not having screens on Windows meant we didn't feel comfortable opening Windows to enjoy the cool breeze . Also, there was an issue with sugar ants inside the kitchen area getting into some of our food. Was concerned about privacy for the main bedroom with just the curtain as a screen . .
- Pierre-jean (10/5): Perfect - Super host and place !
💯 Recommended for your stay in beautiful Tasmania 🤩
- Redhen (10/5): Blake’s Manor with amazing history and beautiful gardens - What’s not to like ?!!! Peter and Georgia you’ve out done yourself with your beautiful manor and hospitality! The accommodation is conveniently located to shops etc. Extremely quiet and comfortable.
We used the BBQ area each night which was nice in the garden.
Highly recommend. It suited us in every way, no complaints from us.

- Deanne (9/5): Excellent value for money and so beautiful, we would definitely stay again! - The location was great! Walking distance to everything in Deloraine. The property was very well maintained and the gardens were beautiful with a BBQ area for use of guests as well. We had a picnic lunch in the sun at the outdoor tables. Very relaxing!
Despite experiencing a cool change in the weather, we were never cold in our rooms, with a heat pump and heated floor in the en-suite. So cosy!
- Wendy (10/5): - Blakes Manor is beautiful and well maintained. However the hosts were absolutely awesome. I would recommend Blakes Manor to everyone.
- Fotini (10/5): A wonderful experience! Georgia and Peter were amazing hosts who went above and beyond!!! - We had a wonderful experience with Georgia and Peter! Firstly they checked the time we were arriving so that they could have freshly baked bread waiting for us! Our room was well stocked with fresh eggs and bacon as well as milk and fruit juice. Georgia and Peter were so helpful in providing information on things to do in the area. The room we staying in was lovely and we loved finding out about the history of the building. And as a parting gift we received a bag of walnuts from the trees on the property! We would definitely stay again : )

- Thirdronnie (10/5): Friendly, helpful hosts. Excellent, comforatable room in a top location. - A lovely, comfortable ensuite room in heritage style but with all the modern amenities. On arrival we were welcomed by our hosts and presented with a freshly baked loaf of bread. The fridge had cheese and biscuits, juice, milk and butter. There were chocolates and a carafe of port as well. The property is located in a quiet area but still within easy walking distance of shops, cafes pubs and the theatre. Having to leave. We could easily have spent several days here. We'll be back.

- Keith (10/5): Exceptional - The Location was perfect for our needs as we were exploring Deloraine and surrounds. The breakfast was amazing...we will be returning if only for that hot fresh bread. Our accommodation was more than adequate for our needs. The little things like the sherry 😊 and willingness to share information on the area are what made the stay memorable. We will definately return.
- Silvana (10/5): Delightful Blakes Manor - Thete was nothing not to like. The standout accommodation on our trip so far.
The little extras that are included make all the difference, from freshly baked bread to a little cheese plate on arrival and thats just a couple to mention.. Nothing
- Waldock (9/5): Superb -
- Joshua (10/5): Great place to enjoy the short walks/hikes of the country - Great location, great staff, great accomodation. None
- Glyn (10/5): Excellent place to stay very highly recommended - Firstly communication from owners Georgia and Peter was exceptional. The property location is perfect being a short walk to top of main St and in a beautiful tree lined street. And the ambiance and facilities magnificent, we loved the history and charm with all the facilities needed including nice welcome and generous breakfast to prepare in your room as needed. We stayed 2 nights 3-4th may in the Gannon's family suite. Would not hesitate to stay again
- Waldock (9/5): Highly recommended heritage accommodation in the heart of Deloraine - A beautiful place in a beautiful location. Peter and Georgia were excellent hosts, making sure we knew all the attractions and delights of the region. Our room was spacious and delightfully furnished with period details. The breakfast provisions were also excellent and much appreciated, particularly the homemade loaf of warm bread that greeted our arrival. This is a very minor detail and only mentioned because I value my sleep - the pillows were very flat and not up to the luxury standard of the rest of the room.
- Jill (8/5): Very good - Excellent breakfast.
Located in a lovely neighborhood.
- Isabelle (10/5): Exceptional - It was beautifully presented to suit the era of the property and Georgia and Peter were very helpful in letting us know all the things to do in and around Deloraine. The freshly baked bread on arrival and ample breakfast provisions was a real surprise and certainly not something many properties provide.
