Guest Reviews
- Sarah-Jane (10/5): Will definitely be coming back - Gorgeous property with only 8 rooms, everything about it was great felt like my own oasis!
Having the hammock was a great feature, it rained majority of my stay so i most of my time on it. Don’t have anything negative to say
- Ashlea (3/5): - Location was awesome
- Lieke (7/5): - I recently stayed at Tigerlilys in Nusa Lembongan and truly appreciated that the team upgraded me to a suite room. It was a thoughtful gesture. The suite was very spacious, actually a bit too large for me as a solo traveler. but I genuinely valued the upgrade.
The staff were helpful and kind throughout my stay, which made the overall experience more pleasant.
That said, the rooms feel somewhat outdated and would benefit from refurbishment. Cleanliness standards should also be reviewed and prioritised to ensure greater consistency. Additionally, the water heater in my room was not functioning properly, which needs attention.
The property has a charming boutique concept and a peaceful atmosphere. With better maintenance and some updates, it has strong potential to offer a much improved guest experience.
- Marike (8/5): Verblijf was top!
- James (6/5): Pleasant stay. Would seek alternatives next time - Room was spacious and comfortable. Pool refreshing and cool . Staff were generally very helpful . Craft beers on tap were nice and it’s opposite a great place for coffee in the morning . Quite a central location and I was helped to get a scooter which was great . It feels like the place is a little tired . Something is a bit stale and that included some of the food. And there doesn’t feel like there’s really clear oversight of the property. There’s no one onsite after 10pm which seemed unusual so if something happens there’s nobody there .
- Aoife (7/5): Good value if a bit of room for improvement. - Friendly vibes, helpful staff and nice location, with decent food and cute rooms at a good price. The aircon in our room was right above the bed making it too cold even at the lowest setting (but too hot with just the fan). The pool area could have done with a deep clean.
- Lukasz (8/5): - Nice accomodation, cleaned. Offers activities at the beach and a restaurant with very reasonable prices and nice food. There is a small pool, nive and big enough to relax when needed. Staff is super friendly and helpful, able to advise whre to find traditional foods/activities. You will be given drinking water in the room.
- Bridget (10/5): Thank you team : loved it :) - Friendly staff ; very relaxed vibes . Great introductions and always helpful to assist with food & beverages:) Needs extra bedding . Only queen sheet provided no duvet etc pillows good
- Karen (10/5): -
- Pavel (6/5): -
- Nicola (7/5): - Great location
- June (8/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): Great location - Great location, lovely set up Bathroom needs a good clean, particularly around the hand basin due to all the toothpaste residue from many previous guests. Was gross. Bit put off by rude manageress who demanded to “see the evidence” when I asked for a teabag as the one in my room was so old it had split and tea had turned to dust. When I told her it was in the rubbish bin she still demanded to see it. Frankly I found her behaviour extraordinarily disgusting given how much I was paying for the accommodation and she was disbelieving me over a teabag!!
- sunny (9/5): Great place we will be back! - Cute property in a lovely setting with great location. The staff are so warm and friendly and the manager is amazing, so welcoming and accommodating. Could do some updating, especially the towels and bed linen needs a refresh.
- Amy (9/5): -
- Eva (9/5): - Mooie, ruime kamer met drinkwater. Fijn bed, lekker ontbijt en verkoelend zwembad. Vrij gehorig door nabijgelegen bar en straat
- Giuseppe (10/5): -
- Karen (8/5): Loved our second stay at Tigerlillys Boutique Hotel so relaxing in a fabulous location - The location, friendly staff and beautiful pool/gardens Mattress too hard and bed very squeaky
- Lea (8/5): -
- Megan (5/5): -
- Selina (7/5): Prima - De locatie!
- Wendy (1/5): - We tried to cancel our stay within 4 days of booking due to seeing the stairway to the toilets not being appropriate and staff were quite rude and unhelpful and would not refund or change booking.. not much Sun around pool and I’d expect a lot of mosquitoes.
- pauline (9/5): Certainly recommend TigerLilly Hotel to anyone I know to stay in when visiting Nusa Lembongan - Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful indeed.
I enjoyed the position/location of TigerLillys and the assistance staff gave in familiarizing visitors to Nusa Lembongan.
The hotel is charming. There was nothing I did not like :)
- Natalia (7/5): - Ubicación inmejorable
- Hannah (3/5): -
- Eliza (7/5): - Restaurant and cocktails are bangin, won’t stay again, will probably come back for food and drink though! So the bathroom being downstairs and outside is not an issue, clearly stated on the website and that’s fine. What it doesn’t say though, is that all the tree houses except one have seperate accomodation upstairs and downstairs and while it’s not a “shared bathroom” there is one low wall separating your bathroom from the people downstairs and trying to enjoy a shower you can hear EVERYTHING from the other bathroom, honestly felt like the wall wasn’t there. Would not stay again at this property because of the bathroom, I reiterate, absolutely fine with it being outside and downstairs, it’s the fact that you are sharing sounds and smells with strangers less than a metre away. I expected better for how much we paid.
- Anni (8/5): -
Zeer vriendelijk personeel.
- Michael (9/5): -
- Maiu (10/5): Close to the beach and on the main st - The location and comfort No issues
- Kim (9/5): - Localisation

- Annemarie (10/5): - Really enjoyed staying here, it felt like a lush garden oasis. Loved our room, it was so spacious, comfortable, clean and well decorated. Pool was great and the restaurant served delicious food. Perfect location and wonderful staff as well. I would definitely recommend staying here!
- Gilles (10/5): Amazing stay in Lembongan - We absolutely loved our stay at Tigerlillys. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly and super helpful — they made us feel genuinely welcome. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we really appreciated the little touches like the complimentary coffee, tea, shampoo and body wash, as well as the mini-bar for those occasional cravings. The whole place has a perfect balance of nature and comfort, and the on-site restaurant was a great bonus. The location is ideal too, right on the main street, which made everything very accessible. If we ever come back to Nusa Lembongan, we’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!🥰
- Nicholas (2/5): Very disappointing over priced backpackers - The food was really good and the staff at restaurant easy to communicate with. We booked a suite due to the fact that it was the only option with a TV , It was a lot more expensive than the other rooms but we specifically wanted a TV to relax after days out etc we are on holidays and it is a bit of down time for us. The TV is not a TV it is a monitor screen, and we had to plug a laptop computer into it to watch. We didn’t have a laptop with us and it didn’t work on iPhone. After a few complaints we were offered breakfast complimentary to make up for the missing TV. We appreciated this but it was not a cheap place to stay and in my opinion breakfast should be included for the price you pay.
The rooms are very noisey from the roads and the pump system goes off all day and night and keeps you awake at night.
The pool is limited with chairs ? 6 in total not always available to use.
The rooms are very tidy but not clean, bathroom tiles need a pressure clean and the whole suite needs a deep clean.
The towels and sheets need replacing they were stained and marked for the price we paid compared to other places on the island this should be a given. They were just grey they were very stained and over used.
We run an Airbnb and we would not be in business if we ran our property the way this property offers and doesn’t deliver for the price.
- Blake (7/5): - Location was great. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are tired and need to be renovated. The mosquitoes are very bad. More spraying would help.
- Amanda (10/5): Absolutely stunning property in a great location. Highly recommend - Absolutely stunning both the hotel and the room
- Niki (7/5): Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Lembongan, - Balinese feel, lovely gardens. Staff lively, centre of Lembongan, Bathroom was downstairs from room which made night visits difficult. Not appropriate for older people.
- Kate (7/5): A nice place in a good location. - Great location.
Good was great at the restaurant.
Friendly staff. Very loud road noise.
Terrible water pressure in the shower.
We could hear noise and footsteps from the room above us and their bathroom next to our room.
- Dharma (8/5): Very good - Style of the room inside and outside. Location. Close to ferry also. Atmosphere. If I return I will always choose the top not the bottom accommodations. You can hear the noises from above. I had respectful ladies above me but I can't image being under some heavy deep voiced man. Pay for top accommodations unless you are a night owl and will be coming in way late anyhow. That's not me. I rise early and call it a night early and expect to sleep!
- Mercedes (1/5): Terrible - The pool We had a terrible experience at Tigerlillys. The water stopped working during our stay , we couldn’t shower, couldn’t flush the toilet, and had no running water for hours. To make matters worse, both of us got sick while staying there, which made the lack of basic facilities even more distressing.
Management initially promised a refund, acknowledged the inconvenience, and apologized. But months later, they’ve failed to follow through. We’ve been ignored repeatedly, and every time we follow up, they claim the refund has been processed — but it never arrives. It’s incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
This is not what you’d expect from a boutique hotel. The property may look charming, but when something goes wrong (and it did, massively), they don’t take responsibility. Save yourself the stress, there are plenty of other places to stay on Nusa Lembongan that are better maintained and actually care about their guests.
- Sarah (7/5): Lovely place, great location - Loved the bungalows, location was perfect also. We had an animal eating our clothing when we were out. Upstairs bungalow had a slight urine smell
- Connie (5/5): Be prepared for basic accomodation - Staff are lovely and they try very hard with what they have. The property is very tired, tapware doesn’t work, suite was next to the water pump that went 24 hours a day! Very noisy part of jungut batu. Interesting water in showers mostly cold.
- Indianna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable, island living! - Wayan’s welcome to the property was exceptional! The hotel grounds are beautiful and green, and the room was beautiful. Secure, clean and comfortable. Appreciate the access to clean bottled water in the room. Pool area and restaurant are also great. Can’t fault it!
- Debbie (5/5): We were very disappointed. Photos misleading - The location was great Air conditioning was on but wasn’t cold. Fridge was on but wasn’t cold. No table and chairs to sit on to eat and drink. Had to sit on bed. Swimming pool had broken tiles on the bottom. Tiles were black with algae. Pool light cover was broken with wiring hanging out.
- Holly (8/5): Very good -
- Jo (8/5): Very good - Lovely villas, cute pool and nice setting. Good location.
Close to the beach and local restaurants and cafes.
Food was really good. Excellent nasi goreng and delicious kastsu sando.
Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
Highly recommended.
- Muncaster (1/5): Didn’t sleep for 3 nights straight, worst part of my - Cute drink offered upon entry. Location was ok. Please do NOT stay here. It is a complete money grab - that’s all they care about.
We booked for 5 nights, upon arrival our bathroom was down a steep set of stairs and outside our room, near the restaurant/pool. How can you shower in the day when it’s right next to the pool/restaurant and tons of men were working next to it.
We asked to change rooms upon arriving. They had an equally bad room, same thing, just with an added main main floor and a couch. It was available only 4 nights. I thought with us leaving a night early and no refund for the 5th night we were supposed to stay, they would accommodate. But no. We had to pay an extra $1,500,000 to stay here one night less?
The first night there were +50 mosquitos in our mosquito net. There are holes in all the wooden walls and tiny animals and bugs get in. It’s essentially like camping. The BEDDING was a thin sheet. They do this so you don’t use the AC through the night I assume. All night we got eaten alive by bug. You will be woken up at 6am by drilling that won’t stop until 9pm. There is CONSTANT noise, CONSTANT bugs and no relaxation at this place.
We went to check out and leave that next morning - the ONE hotel staff (who was kind but not helpful) was not working that day… Aside from the kitchen staff being there - there was nothing they could do and we would lose out 6,500,000 if we left.
We didn’t sleep again due to bugs and freezing with no blanket on the bed, then sweating so bad due to heat if we turned ac off.
I asked for a supervisor or owner contact after they refused ANY refund for hours - they decline and refuse to let you speak to anyone but the one woman who can’t make any changes and is not accommodating.
This place just DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR COMFORT AND ONLY WANTS TO CHARGE CHARGE CHARGE.
Did nothing to accommodate us or pay us back for 3 nights where we didn’t sleep and we left 2 nights early. Worst stay in Bali over months. You will not sleep, feel relaxed or taken care of.
- Maaike (8/5): Recommend! - The location was good. Nice swimming pool and the staff was super friendly and helped us booking taxi’s and activities. Also fun is to have an outside bathroom. A lot of mosquitos in the room, however you do have a net around you bed, but you need to remove them all from the net first.
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Hugo (9/5): Super!! - Great location, cute rooms and friendly staff. Great value and we will definitely come back. Some water issues and WiFi connectivity was relatively poor, however this was usually fixed quickly.
- Melinda (6/5): Pleasant -
- Howlett (3/5): Clean place but not a 'Boutique' hotel. Needs better plumbing. - Very clean an tidy. No hot shower. I had one cold shower for the whole stay. For 3 of the 4 days there was no water from the shower and the water from the bathroom tap 'spat' out (a mixture of air and water). I repeatedly notified them of the issue and it still wasn't fixed after 4 days.
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (9/5): I spent 4 nights at Tigerlillys which overall was an enjoyable experience, would recommend. - I liked the style of the accommodation, rooms well fitted out, staff very kind & helpful. My only comment and this is a personal preference was that the bed was too hard and steps to upstairs room a little steep so accessing the downstairs bathroom was a little tedious.
- Lily (6/5): Pleasant - Very friendly staff and super clean! We were put in a ground floor room with an ensuite, however the people above us their ensuite is attached to our room/ ensuite downstairs so the light constantly shone through our room making it super bright to sleep in and we could hear every little noise they made. Didn't sleep much because of it.
- Jeff (8/5): Very good - Lovely tropical shaded garden to relax in next to pool
- Jaclyn (8/5): Relaxing and great spot - Modern and in the shade which was perfect in the heat. Very close to great options for eating. Only thing I’d change is the uncomfortable pillows. Otherwise we loved it. Be prepared for island life.
- Karen (7/5): Loved Nusa Lembongan and the gentle vibe at Tigerlilys - Friendly and clean. Central location in the Main Street with a wide range of places to eat as soon as you step out the door. No direct beach access, but not at all far to walk to down side lane.
Lovely wooden huts with straw roofs and outdoor bathrooms. Fans and aircon were very welcome. Mosquito net welcome over large, comfy king beds.
They provide bottled water on tap in the rooms. Nice, quiet pool area with plenty of both shade and sun.
Only 6 daybeds around pool but as it’s only a small resort, we could usually find one if wanted.
Lovely restaurant/bar called Lionfish attached to the resort which became both a gathering place as well as somewhere to eat or have drinks. Good food.
Note that breakfast is NOT provided in cost of accom. We had significant water supply issues, limiting our ability to have a shower and sometimes no water at all. Staff acknowledged issue and made attempts to rectify with limited success.
Breakfast is not included - for the higher price being asked of the rooms, would be reasonable that breakfast was included.
Office is not always attended but restaurant staff helpful. Office staff happy to be contacted on WhatsApp though.
- Greta (10/5): Wayan, Komet, Eta and the rest of the staff were amazing! Super helpful and the villa was super cozy. We had a great sno - Beautiful little villas, super clean and had everything we needed Nothing
- Ruth (10/5): Rest and relaxation at its best. - Loved the relaxed vibe. Clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Alice (9/5): Peaceful - Super nice place to stay. Very central. Gorgeous rooms and comfy beds, nice linen. Love the poolside.
The restaurant menu is limited however many options just outside the hotel. And the bathrooms share open air with your neighbour so sometimes a bit awkward with the noise of using the toilet.
Overall one of my fave places to stay!
- Davina (10/5): Lovely! - Loved my stay. Rooms were beautiful and beds comfy. Staff were very helpful when wanting to book things.
- Sarah (10/5): Amazing - What’s not to like??? Small, beautiful &
Very clean x staff very helpful 🥰
- Louise (8/5): Very good - Accommodation was really great No breakfast option as part of booking however a good cafe directly opposite so not an issue. Recommend having meals on beach at the Tigerlillys beach cafe also
- Tracey (8/5): Perfect location for beach, bars and restaurants - Excellent location, affordable, spacious room with clean pool and great restaurant.
- Rebecca (6/5): Nice hotel, central but not beach side ( prob 10-15 min walk) and too expensive. - The room was a small pleasant two storey beach bungalow, I had the ground floor. Nice outside shower. Nice outside porch with seats and a swing.Convenient onsite restaurant. Small fridge in the room. Helpful staff. The hotel is just off the main road so there is a lot of noise pollution from the road during the day. The photos are a little misleading in this regard. I had a lot of problems with mosquitos in the room waking up daily with multiple bites despite appropriate sleep wear, nets, spray and coils in use, and getting the room sprayed. When I stayed elsewhere on the island this was not an issue. No TV in the room but there is a small fridge which was handy. Overall the value for money is not there, it's not beach side and you can get much better accommodation for much cheaper, I felt a little ripped off tbh. Additionally there is only a small lock on the double window doors which as someone travelling alone made me quite nervous, especially it being so close to the road. When I flagged it to the staff I was met with a lot of bemusement and they were initially quite dismissive of my concerns. The manager did come to met me when I asked about cancelling my reservation, and gave me her phone number incase anything happened which was kind. I will acknowledge that after staying on the Island it is a safe place, but when travelling alone you have to be careful.
- Joanne (9/5): Gorgeous little resort, and has everything you need. - Room was very spacious and bed was so comfortable. The outdoor bathroom was gorgeous. I expected to see creatures there at night but nothing at all. We learned very quickly not to leave food or food packaging in your room as small creatures will sniff it out and come looking. We didn't see any, but saw evidence they had been here. The resort is in a beautiful natural setting therefore home to animals and beautiful birds. Nothing. Everything was enjoyable.
- Ricky (3/5): Poor -
- Rebecca (8/5): Excellent - Location - excellent coffee across the road , although a little on the pricey side for Bali. But then I guess you have to pay for westernised coffee offerings. Location was excellent to most things. Loved the bungalow intimacy it was very cute. Water faucet on showers need replacing and water was on/off hit/miss hot cold. First world problem but thought to mention.
Also a little noisy but not overthetop regarding location convenience- noise dies down after 9:30.
- Virginia (8/5): Very good -
- Tania (10/5): Exceptional - Secluded but central location
- Zahli (1/5): thief’s - nothing the house keeper came into our room and went through all our stuff moved everything around and did not clean anything and stole $1000 australian dollars and then lied to our faces about it all it’s bad karma and they’ll receive it do not stay here wrost place i’ve ever stayed at
- Karla (8/5): Our stay was amazing , the staff, and food were fantastic. -
- Lilli (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ayumi (9/5): We loved it here - We liked the spaciousness of the room, the bed was very comfortable and they had great facilities onsite, such as pool and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. It was tiring after a while having to go outside and down a big flight of stairs to use the toilet, especially at night.
- Aishling (10/5): Exceptional - Wayan at reception, was very helpful. Great location & facilities - food was very good
- Lesley (5/5): Cute place - The location was good and the staff were lovely The shower was terrible hardly any pressure and the bathroom wasn’t very clean
- Andrea (8/5): Excellent place with beautiful staff - Great place, close to the beach and the staff were so lovely ☺️ They had a tv but it didn’t work, no aerial etc
Probably shouldn’t have that on their website unless it actually works!
- Lidya (9/5): Excellent! - I stayed at deluxe double room opposite the pool. I liked it. The room was cleaned and tidied daily. The bed and pillows very comfy (the linen felt luxurious). Yes, there were mosquitoes but this is Bali, there’s nets in the bed so that’s ok.
The staff Wayan and others were also nice and respectful. Thank you!
Ps. The place also close to all the nice places to eat (Bali Eco Deli, Kayu, Let’s Bake, Ginger & Jamu etc). Perhaps the white towels need to be changed as they’re quite old and don’t reflect the image of a boutique hotel.
- Debra (2/5): Very disappointed - The pool area Rooms are very tired, bathroom was dirty, no hot water, showering is a drizzle, could not wash my hair there with the 7 night stay. Third night we had a Rat running around our bathroom leaving poo everywhere, Tigerlillys did nothing about cleaning up bathroom left it to us to do. We paid top dollar for the 7 nights on the ground floor with attached ensuite. Floor boards upstairs creaked and felt like somebody was in our room all the time. We cannot recommend to anyone!
- Scott (9/5): Superb - We loved that it was a bit different to normal accommodation. Wayan was a fantastic help to us and solved any problems we had. The pool had way too much chlorine and we could hear loud music from the hotel nearby.
- Samuel (10/5): Restful, interesting, and fun. - The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the restaurant has delicious food, the location is ideal, and the other businesses that are part of the hotel are excellent in all departments too.
- Tina (7/5): Good -
- Lauren (8/5): Very good -
- Paula (7/5): Cool spot - Nice cool place, outdoors area is perfect and close to the restaurants. We got the twin bed room and the smell of damp was not on the healthy side. Luckily we asked for a change of room and problem solved (but if I had to stay there I would have left). Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Gaila (1/5): Don’t waste your money! - Absolute waste of more then £1200! I’ve booked a room here few months ago for the length of 3 weeks during which I was attending Yoga Teacher training in Nusa Lembongan. Pictures on Booking.com looked very nice and I was happy to pay that to live comfortably and be able to relax/enjoy the space and rest after long days of training. I’ve booked upstairs room and was advised that it had a private bathroom downstairs which I was ok with. What they have forgot to mention was that the pathway leading to the bathroom isn’t fully covered by a roof and since I was here during rainy season, I would get wet just on my way to the bathroom. The bathroom itself is pretty grubby, it isn’t fully covered so you can hear the neighbouring guests using their bathroom at the same time, it’s full of mosquitos and most importantly it does not have an actual lock so essentially anyone has access to it. The room itself is not what it looked like in pictures at all. Huge gaps in between walls/ceiling/window frames so all outside creatures are very much making themselves at home here. Huge gecko was a common guest. They do say they advertise it as a traditional Balinese style which I guess translates to holes in the walls (not exactly helpful for someone visiting for the first time). WiFi is pretty much non existent in the room either, there seems to be an issue ‘because of the rain’ everyday whilst in the meantime restaurant WiFi works just fine.
After spending a couple of nights here and barely being able to sleep I’ve decided to move since getting proper rest is my priority. I’ve tried speaking to someone about the issues but there was no one at the reception to address these. Eventually I’ve contacted the property via Booking.com advising about the issues I’m having and asking what my options are in terms of getting a refund for the remaining almost 3 weeks I’ve paid for and won’t be staying.
- Sheralee (9/5): Worth a visit - Lovely large second floor hut overlooking the pool. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The Lionfish restaurant which is part of the hotel was nice also. It's in a great location, close to other restaurants and the beach. The downstairs bathroom was a little inconvenient for the nighttime but we only stayed for two nights.
- Nikolina (9/5): Would definitely come back, great value for money! - Bungalows are very cosy and cute, very comfortable beds. Staff was excellent, especially reception. Location wise it was perfect as it takes you less than 5 minutes to get to the beach (go to Beach Shack). We really loved our stay here! Food was not the greatest, but it was not a dealbreaker as there are loads of other restaurants around. Everything else was great!
- Roh (9/5): Superb - Great location, comfortable layout.
- Rogerio (7/5): Good - Cute place, comfortable bed, very attentive staff WiFi only really works at the restaurant
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - location was great for restaurants and spas .its a small resort, so very private. we stayed in a suite , the bedroom was upstairs and was very big and spacious.they supply a huge water bottle for your stay rather than a small bottle everyday. we didnt get breakfast so we ate out elsewhere there are lots of choices elsewhere.. although its on the beach side, there is no access through hotel. you have to walk out front and turn down a side lane to get to the beach.
- Erin (4/5): Disappointing - In the upstairs twin room there was Poor aircon and airflow. The aircon was left on the whole time at 16deg and didn’t even feel like it was on. After walking around in the heat all day you want to come back to a cold room. This did not happen. The fan was on setting 5 ( highest) was spinning at about a 2. The nights were extremely uncomfortable. The bed under the aircon was the only one that would get a small amount of cold air from the aircon. I got up and had two cold showers during the night just to try and cool down.
The pillows were very uncomfortable too.
If you want access to a toilet during the night I would not recommend the upstairs room. Very inconvenient and you get attacked by mosquitoes when you want to use the bathroom. Could not imagine having Bali belly and staying in this room.
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (5/5): Passable - Did not look like the pictures , old and smelled like mould Did not look like the pictures , old and smelled like mould
