Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful quite little house. Short walk to the beach which the kids loved.
Paul (10/5): - We stayed here for 12 nights and it was fantastic. Whilst the houses are 13 years old, they don’t feel it. The location, only 40m to the beach, was incredibly convenient and the access to both Theodolite Cr and Burrum River were brilliant as we waterskied and fished. In between visits to beach, river and occasionally Bundy, Hervey or Childers, the kids spent time in one of the two pools on site. Lani and the team on site were amazing to deal with and really seemed to enjoy their job with no request to hard. A quiet and chilled little town, it’s well supported by a bowls club, pub, convenience store, small grocery shop and fuel, (located at the Caravan Park). We stayed 28 Dec to 8 Jan 2021 and will definitely return.

Eden (4/5): - We only booked this as advertised as having WIFI. Property was spacious and lovely but absolutely NO WIFI at all which we needed as we were relocating. Even our phones couldn't get any signal here. We had to leave early next day. Getting a refund was very difficult and took a lot of time they didn't want to do this either. Leaving us out of pocket for sometime as had to pay for an alternative instead.
Debra (8/5): Relax on the beach - Great getaway for a relaxing beach and fishing break with just enough cafes and restaurants and walking distance to local shops with full amenities. If staying for more than one night bring extras like salt and pepper, washing powder, beach towels etc.. These houses are not directly on the beach but it's an easy 100 meter walk and there are 2 very nice pools and bbq areas. The beach is stunning.

Paul (6/5): Disappointed, Would not stay Again - Hotel is under new management so cannot hold new management responsible for the booking stuff up. Advertised as dog friendly we rang to confirm facilities as was assured plenty of room out back for dog to run around we have a Boxer there was a 1mtr of garden between deck and fence nowhere for the dog. Because of rain we had to make arrangements to have him taken back to Brisbane it was unfair to keep him inside cooped up for a week. deep clean fee for having pets was waved as we were not informed of this policy. And Policy has changed only 10kg or less dogs allowed old management told us what we needed to hear to get the booking. we booked in March for a October holiday plenty of time to inform us of changes but we were not and New Management wasn't even aware we were coming with a dog till we arrived. On arrival the Place looked nice but once we entered the floor felt sandy we swept and got quite a bit of rubbish on first sweep we then sat on couch and could feel the sand in the couch had to vacuum twice the floors and couch and go and buy a mop to clean floors. blinds were stained rangehood was covered in grease we even wrote dirty in the grease. shower head leaked and had no water pressure but the place had gas hot water everyone got hot showers. Fridge was Large beds were comfy and linen was clean. And the cleaners were the noisiest part of the stay even though we were next door to kids as they would stand on the patios and talk quite loudly each morning on their rounds.

In fact, everything advertised is accurate! Thank you for having me, I will be back when I need to escape the hustle and bustle :)
John (10/5): Beautiful accomodation across from the beach. - what a surprise ,5 star fully equiped units, the staff are a credit, super friendly and helpful, easy access some with rear facing verandahs like the one we rented,so mornings and evenings you have the delightful company of the local roo family, the beach is just so easily accessible and super clean, we caught the tail end of a cyclone and had 4 days of rain, off season it is very quiet and in some parts everything is closed by 1830hours,if you want to eat out, 2kms north on the esplanade is the woodgate club, 5kms south is the bowls club,there is a friendly super store on the edge of the village, of course they are friendly their prices are mind boggling I asked the manager if he would not be more comfortable wearing a mask and carrying a brace of pistols!! do your shopping in Childers before you arrive ,a very enjoyable stay,we are definitely going back later on in the year,suitably loaded with supplies of course
Dave (8/5): Woodgate holiday with kids - Facilities are good two good size pools bbq available. Accommodation clean fresh , good relax atmosphere safe for the kids to run around. Staff are friendly and helpful nice beach to swim straight across the road. Room has a good covered deck out the front to have nice meal or drink. If you need to unwind from a busy life this is the place to be.
Verified traveler (8/5): Chilled out break! - Really enjoyed a lovely relaxing break with no crowded beaches and great facilities. This was our 4th return visit in 10 years so furniture and facilities starting to look a little worn and need replacing. Our villa was not very clean - dishes needed washing with food stuck on them, a green slime was across the wall probably from the last visitors, sofa bed was full of sand and crumbs and the fridge had a tea stain in the bottom of it! Not what we usually have when we stay here and a small inconvenience compared to the beautiful surroundings. One fan did not work and was replaced but unfortunately not till the day before we left. The pool needs attention at the entrance as big areas chipped away on the bottom. We had a great break and the staff are very helpful and we would definitely return. A very friendly and peaceful time was enjoyed by us all.

Internet was not available in unit but onsite, outside the small office/reception block only. One hotel and a modern sporting club provide meals plus a small community store for takeaway and basic groceries.

Verified traveler (8/5): - The two bedroom units are spacious and comfortable and easily accommodate 4 people. The living area is large and includes a full kitchen including stove, oven and dishwasher. The weather can be quite hot and humid in summer and the units have air conditioning in the living area and main bedroom, as well as ceiling fans in all rooms. There is undercover parking for one car and enough room to park two cars at each unit. The complex is a 2 minute walk, across the road, to the beach. Would happily stay there again.
Brian (10/5): Quiet beach getaway - Great location. The friendly manager was very accommodating as we arrived after the office closed. The house was perfect for our stay. Very clean and had modern furnishings everything you need. We loved the pool. The picture perfect beach was just across the road, you could hear the waves at night. Very quiet location, family friendly, excellent place to relax and unwind. Even frogs on the patio at night and plenty of kangaroos out the back. We loved it 10/10.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were wonderful and the gardens were gorgeous. You need to take your own food as there is only a convenience store nearby. There is a pub and club for eating out, but we didn't choose to go. Took a little drive to Theodolite creek, which was just lovely at high tide. The kids really enjoyed swimming in the calm water and we walked out to the point- so beautiful.

Barbara (8/5): Extremely comfortable accommodation close to beach - Did lots of beach walking..as it is flat and so and easy to access..also bush walks within east reach...plus just a short drive to Begara ,Bundaberg and Childers...a wonderful Woodgate club available for meals or snack plus we were made very welcomed...
