• Adrian (10/5): A handy, great size and clean and tidy place to stay in South Brisbane. - The apartment was exceptionally clean and tidy and the service was fantastic. The included car parking was easily accessible, with Southbank and the Mater and Children’s Hospitals a short walk away. Steven catered for our requests in a timely and friendly manner, making our stay an easy experience. We would definitely recommend Allegro Apartments to anyone visiting the South Brisbane area.

• Hcarter (6/5): Disappointing - Was close to many different food options The photos on the booking website were nothing like the apartment (29) that we stayed in. You are greeted by the smell of rubbish bins from the moment you opened the car windows to scan the parking fob, this doesn’t end till you get to the unit. The unit itself is small, poorly maintained with slap happy ‘renovations’, the second bed looks like it was a bargain buy on gumtree last week and they threw in the 2 doona covers with the sale! There wasn’t even toilet paper in the main bathroom, with the roll in the ensuite one use away from finished. $280 for that, ha! NO!

The bed was very uncomfortable also the pillows had no life in them making for a poor nights sleep. The furniture and amenity in the room need a refresh and the level of dust was not ok. Especially on the artificial plants.

A little tricky to access by car because of the one-way streets. Property owner alerted us to use Google maps, not Apple Maps, so that was good to know. Shower rose did not provide much water pressure - a challenge for hair rinsing.

Carpark availablity was amazing usually you have to pay for carpark in the city but was included. Pool & spa was the highlight so relaxing & refreshing would definitely book again. Jets bubbles in the spa weren't working.

We loved the location as there was lots to see and do nearby. The owner was friendly, as were the other residents we met! The pool area looked nice, but due to the weather, we didn't use it.
• Amy (7/5): Great place to stay but tricky with very young kids. - Location was great, easy access, pretty clean and comfy beds. The host was great in dropping some blankets off for us very quickly. The apartment was not ideal for young children, the furniture was a bit dodgy and some broken - particularly the kitchen drawers and cupboards.
• Chris (8/5): Good. - Apartments are great, terrific location, quiet, some with nice views. Some of the furniture is uncomfortable, e.g. the dining table chairs. This becomes an issue if you are travelling for work and need to sit at a computer for any length of time. Better dining chairs would be very helpful.

Nice room ,couch & T.V, small table & chairs to eat at. Tiny, single milk serves in the fridge-2 were out of date & 'curdled' in the tea! Small Tetra pack would be better. The Air conditioner, particularly in the bedroom (The oscillating vane was broken!) blew cold air directly onto the bed! Had to leave the bedroom door open to have some air circulating, but then the sun comes straight through the windows as the Curtain sliding panels don't cover the window completely.

• Annette (5/5): OK but need to provide basic plugs ; rubbish disposal & wifi access clearer - Breakfast NOT an item ; instructions for attaching wiFi need attention ( luckily phone call to offered contact - worked) I liked proximity to venue ; i LOVED pool at 6 am access ( was able to swim from 6am to set myself up for a day of seminars) Didnt like not having access to promised recycle disposal ; promised recycle bin at lower level yellow bin and it didt exist! This is important for those of us that try to do what is expected! Above answer covered But to repeat- If you want us to dispose of refuse appropriately- AND given instructions- then at least provide what you say are there No Plug for ANY sink to either hand wash or dishwash
