John (10/5): - Absolutely Amazing! Saturday night the bar in the village had a buffet and live music. The pool is amazing with stunning views. Near several historic towns and stunning drives.
Kateryna (4/5): Overpriced and Disappointing Experience in Tuscany - We rented the Sarageto villa for a week in October with our family. The plan was to celebrate our daughter’s anniversary. The villa is secluded, with a private area and parking for three cars; if needed, two additional cars can be parked on the driveway. The house has two floors and a spacious terrace. By October, the pool was already too cold to use, but its size and depth are convenient—probably the only thing that aligns with a 4-5 star level. The pool has a partial view of the fields in one direction, but mostly you’ll see olive trees, cypress trees, and garden greenery. There are plenty of loungers by the pool. The property also makes decent wine, which was provided as a welcome gift, and the kitchen was stocked with bread, butter, jam, muesli, and coffee/tea. We liked the wine and ended up buying more at 10 euros a bottle. That’s about where the positives end. Oh, if you need to work, wifi in the living room and master bedroom is preatty fast snd stable. It’s worth mentioning that we rent a villa in Tuscany every autumn. We chose Villa Sarageto as a higher-end option, a place for a special celebration. A month before our stay, I requested arrangements to invite a chef, plan a menu, schedule a wine tasting, and order a cake. However, when I sent the final version of the request, the host simply stopped responding. When we arrived and I inquired about the chef, I was told these arrangements should be made in advance—but I had done so. As a result, the celebration with a chef was canceled. The house has two floors, each with a living room and a fireplace. During check-in, they only showed us the second floor, not the first. It was only after I specifically asked that I was informed we could use the first floor. However, this proved unimportant. The second floor has a separate entrance via an outdoor staircase, so the first floor can only be accessed through the garden, which made it inconvenient. The fireplaces are large and open, so be prepared for a smoky smell in the house. Due to the size of the house, the secluded grounds, and the pool, the property is expensive. But for this price, you get an old house with sparse furnishings (I understand Tuscan style, and this was not tastefully rustic—it was just plain and poorly furnished). The floor is uneven and vibrates; the cookware, pots, and pans are cheap aluminum and unusable; the appliances are in terrible condition and of the cheapest kind; and the dishwasher doesn’t clean properly, so we ended up washing dishes by hand. By the third day, we were simply worn out by staying there; this was well below the quality we are used to. I would rate the house and facilities at 3 stars, maximum. This was the most disappointing house we have rented in Tuscany. The price-to-quality ratio is appalling; the property should cost a third of what we paid.

The local wine is lovely and we were able to purchase more of it from the staff. The apartment is really large, we had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen and two living rooms. This would be a great place to come as a family as. The pool area is beautiful, it’s shared with the other apartments but we hardly saw anyone and the views from the pool are incredible Everything was great, breakfast could have had more fresh things rather than bread and jam, but there’s a fridge so you can always get the stuff you want

English is limited but very helpful nevertheless!! prompt reply of messages and fast answer of the mobile in the evenings. Help with rubbish when full is nice. Nicholas even drive me to get parts to help fix our rental car issue so we can leave as planned! A little too quiet in the evenings as no one seem to be on site. room can be more tidy and less cluttered. More stairs than expected coming in and out of our apartment.

grant (10/5): Wonderful stay in the heart of a beautiful area - A really lovely place. Perfect for families as the apartments are big enough to allow some breathing room. We were four people (2 kids) and had loads of room. Severino was the name of our apartment. The pool is a gem - sunset with your own bottle of wine is a real treat. Great place overall. Will be back.
