Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the place, and I liked Alfonso, the owner. The area was very nice, quiet and residential, and an easy vaporetta ride to anywhere in Venice
- Arias (10/5): - Nice accommodation. So clean and comfortable. Staff was very attentive to our needs and provided us all facilities they could.
- Bob (10/5): Budget Hotel in a Proper Italian part of Venice - The hotel is real Italian and far away from the crowds on the small Island of St. Elena but easily accessible by Water Bus or footpaths. Lots of the Water busses call there and we bought a 7 day pass which was very worth doing because we used it several times a day visiting lots of Islands. There is no reception but Alfonso is just a call, email or text away. Breakfast is ample, simple continental for us to prepare ourselves but we are Coeliac and everything was gluten free as we requested. There are plenty of places to eat at all prices. The rooms were bigger than expected, the bed room was comfortable. There was a sofa, microwave, small sink and table and chairs in the second room with a kettle and refrigerator adjoining. The bathroom included a shower, WC, bidet and basin. There was hot water to all taps.
- James (8/5): - The B&B was in the perfect location, under a mile away from the center of town. It was nice to stay in a quieter area as it allowed my husband and I to explore more of the surrounding area. The room was great, had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Just wishful for some air conditioning in the room for our next trip. So humid in July!
- Fiona (10/5): B&B Biennale Venezia is great place to stay - The room met the requiments and matched expectations, the owner was freindly and helpful. Perfect location and easy to find- would recommend this to others.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Apartment and area ok , breakfast and wifi poor - Place was ok as was the area. Breakfast wasn't good enough for a couple considering it is a b & b. Wifi poor also. Good point is its walkable to all the main sights .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room had a comfortable bed and really great celing fan to keep it cool. We also enjoyed the quiet area where it is located. Our only dislikes were the disposable towels, low quality sheets (almoat paper-like) and the many notes and reminders placed throughout the room. They could be condensed to 1 check in form. An additional note, the room comes with breakfast which is prepackaged croissants and crackers. Tea and coffee provided with a kettle.
All in all, good stay in a nice little property.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice cozy room. - It's not your typical B&B. Being an American it wasn't what I expected. But it was still pretty good.
They live some croissants in the room with some coffee for breakfast.
Alfonzo was really nice and friendly!
The room is perfect for one/two people and no more.
It was extremely hard to find, but also for some reason I didn't get the map Alfonzo had sent me to get there.
The locals have no idea on where any hotels are, just the area they would be in so don't really count on them.
But once I found it it was really easy to find again!
Great quiet neighborhood!
Defiantly would stay again!
- Verified traveler (4/5): aiuto !
- Kalle (8/5): Nice stay in calm area. - Very clean apartment.Very close to the Biennal.
Poor breakfast, we had the breakfast at Bar Vincent situated in the same block and recommended by the B&B itself.
WiFi was very good.
Observe that owner need separate mail telling arrival time
and passport information in advance.
- Verified traveler (6/5):
