Guest Reviews
- Denise (6/5): The buildings were getting old, but our room was quiet with a great view to look at. - They offered coffee, which was really good. We had good muffins. The toilet had gunk in the tank, which my husband had to unclog every morning. We didn't have a microwave in our room.
- Kohler (7/5): -
- Russell (8/5): -
- Jaal (10/5): -
- Tammy (8/5): Great stay great wine trail event!!! - Close to Seneca lake and all the wineries are relatively close by.
- Corey (9/5): Great value and location for our weekend festivities - Close to town NA
- Lindley Jade (7/5): -
- David (8/5): -
- Jagadish (9/5): - The staff was courtious. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
- David (2/5): Had to leave a day early due to family illness; refused refund even though they were not busy. - The continental breakfast was just sweet pastries and coffee.
- Renee (8/5): Good value - Quiet. Didn’t hear anyone leaving in the am and when we woke up, all the cars were gone. Room could use updating and the air conditioner in the room was loud.
- Darlene (8/5): Nostalgic hotel - The breakfasr was prepackaged muffins and donuts The room was advertised as a King bed but the room we were given has 2 double beds.
- Harry (7/5): Like I thought. - housekeeping The water in the shower went from hot to extremely c0ld to scalding hot after a little while. Somebody will have serious burns if they trip and fall.
- Steve (9/5): Very pleasant stay and will most definitely stay here again. - There was no breakfast offered. We were told it’s “off season “. The only minor issue was trying to connect the WiFi. We never did.
- Phillip (8/5): -
- Barbara (10/5): - Older motel, but very comfortable. Staff is great. Biggest plus is that it is pet friendly. Needs some updates
- Mike (9/5): Good value. Close to Watkins Glen. - Close to town. Not as expensive as other locations Depending on season, it can be challenging to get a ride share/ taxi if you’re visiting for a winery tour. Which is not a negative specific to this venue. Overall, very happy with the stay.
- Alexandra (2/5): - Location was good, very close to town. Nice view of the lake. Rooms are VERY dated. Carpet and sheets did not look particularly clean. Water pressure was HORRENDOUS, for real a trickle. AND shower did not maintain temperature, either scalding hot or very cold. To top it all off, the room was not cheap. We couldn’t wait to get out of there.
- Linda (9/5): - Friendly staff, clean and cozy motel, convenient location. It was a perfect central point for our visit to several fabulous state parks in the area. Loved everything
- Jennifer (6/5): Overall, it worked out for us, but I wouldn’t not go out of my way to book again. - Location was great -our deluxe room had a view of the lake. However, it’s located on a very busy highway, which is in between the hotel and the lake. The rooms were spacious, but very outdated. The beds were comfortable however it was obvious that the comforters hadn’t been washed. They smelled very musty. Also, the staff does not answer the phone regularly. I called about 10 to 15 times before somebody finally answered. I had left a couple voicemails and nobody called me back.
- Smith (7/5): - Great location, clean room, comfortable bed. Rooms need upgrades
- Rebecca (7/5): It was a basic room with not a lot of luxury - It was a good value and a good location with a nice view of the lake. The room was clean. It’s hard to find the entrance at night.
The room had a musty smell.
- Miller (6/5): -
- Jamie (6/5): -
- Robert (10/5): - The house was amazing. Clean, and had every amenity imaginable. Full service kitchen. Multiple TV and sitting areas. Pool table, ping pong table, cards, board games.
There was a full individually prepared breakfast every morning with fruit, bagels, muffins, eggs, French toast, bacon, sausage, juice, coffee, the works.
Highly recommended as a great reasonably priced get away.
I would suggest doing this stay with friends, the accommodations are perfect for this type of trip to the finger lakes ( Seneca ) region!
- Carl (9/5): -
- David (9/5): - Convient and friendly staff. High rise toilets would make the stay more comfortable.
- Joseph (4/5): Don’t go there - Location was just ok the lake view was minimal Carpets filthy continental breakfast was packaged mini donuts and muffins. Not really a breakfast as advertised
- John (8/5): - Room was clean and Breakfast was good.
- Ann (3/5): Don't waste your money - Nothing Run down, Lampshade falling apart with no bulb on floor lamp. My feet were black after walking on carpet. Bed uncomfortable.
- Agata (8/5): -
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Nice sized rooms with comfortable furnitue. Sitting areas, community areas and vuews sll a plus. Away from the road noise. Hotel staff friendly. Enjoyable fresh fruit, continental breakfast or hot breakfast made fresh upon request. Would definitely stay here again.
- Gypsy (4/5): -
- Wendy (6/5): - Breakfast was great with lots of fresh fruit, bagels and muffins, cereal, hot beverages, juice, and a different cooked entree every day. The staff was helpful without being intrusive. The suite was spacious enough, but there were some deferred maintenance issues that should be addressed, and the cool dampness and odd odor was offensive. We had a lower level room, and the rooms on the upper floors may not have had those issues. The facility was clean enough, but the pool was not usable due to drowned bugs, dirt, and leaves floating in it.
- Robert (5/5): -
- Gay (10/5): A great find! - Very comfortable room, easy access in and out incredible continental breakfast cook to order. Friendly staff willing to accommodate any request excellent location to both wineries and the village of Watkins Glen.
- Laurence (6/5): - If you stay here, request a room on an upper floor. The rooms could use some updating and improvements. The basement level we stayed in was not what we expected. There was a smell of diesel fuel.
- Patricia (10/5): - I loved it there Location
- Yavonne (10/5): Stay here! - We stayed here for an overnight wine trip. The inn itself sits behind the motel up a hill. We stayed on the first floor which had a large living room with a pool table. Outside had 2 firepits under gazebos amd an 84 degree heated pool.
- lynn (5/5): Great location on Seneca Lake - The location to Wakins Glen and Seneca Lake is excellent. Beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Pet friendly met several well-behaved dogs. The property is showing it's age. We stayed here 22 years ago and it doesn't appear to have had a facelift in that time. We experienced a bad smell (sewage)from the bathroom on night 2. Thankfully it was gone be morning.
- Rebecca (7/5): -
- mellor (8/5): Great staff and everything was AOK. - Staff is great and everything was just fine.
- IZIDRO (2/5): - Very bad breakfast
- Melissa (8/5): - This was a pleasant bed and breakfast. The queen canopy beds were super comfortable and the extra vanity area with a sink was an added plus. Breakfast was included and a convenient plus.
- Debra (8/5): - Stayed for 2 nights. The view was pretty. Didn't use the pool. The location was near the vinards, and a short drive to downtown Watkins Glen. The price was reasonable. There was a strange odor in the room.
- Vida (10/5): - Relaxing environment.
- Justyna (9/5): -
- John (10/5): Pool and room side lake view! - I unknowingly received a free king room upgrade complimentary so that two couple could be adjacent to each other. One got my queen bed room but I got a bump and free upgrade so those folks could be together. Pool was very nice too and a view of Seneca Lake from my room and the pool! Yesss! Small low to ground commode.
- Robert (8/5): - Breakfast was included along with bagels, english muffins, coffee, juice and cream cheese.
- Palacio (9/5): - Sunrise A bit cramped
- Alan I (8/5): Nice place - We stay here every year and have done so for about 4 years now. They continually to upgrade and improve on the rooms and main areas. The family that runs the place are always helpful. The rooms are large and is a great location close to Watkins Glen Center and to Seneca Lake.
- Bialobrzeski (10/5): - Had a beautiful view of Seneca Lake from the hotel. The king bed room was huge. Maybe 32' x 20'. Pool was very nice after a hot day at the race track. Location is very convenient to downtown Watkins Glen. No complaints about this place. We'll be back.
- Rhoda (10/5): - Could use a good cleaning but property was nice. We loved the outdoor heated pool.
- Leah (10/5): - We’ve stayed here in the past. This being our third time. Never have had any issues. Breakfast is very good and Cindy was very nice. Views are exceptional when clear. Unfortunately due to the Canadian wildfires it was Smokey. Can’t control that issue.
- Elizabeth (10/5): A little slice of heaven! - Great little inn. The room was very roomy and comfortable with a great view. the common areas made it very contusive to mingle with the other guests and because there's only 7 rooms , it's just right. Incredible full breakfast prepared by the care taker. We sat on the back porch and watch deer run by on the grass, we even saw a hot air balloon float right by!
- Jessica (10/5): - It was in a perfect location and affordable. The staff was friendly, the view was beautiful, and the atmosphere was very welcoming overall. I would highly recommend it.
- Ronald (10/5): - Cute bed and breakfast close to everything! Nice heated pool with an awesome view of Seneca Lake. Breakfast was very nice; enjoyed visiting with other guests over a coffee, fruit, eggs,…
Would definitely stay again!
- Becky (6/5): - Location was good Outdated asked if they had anywhere to get a bottle of water and was told to go to a store.
- Sue (10/5): Summer fun! - Pleasant stay at this location. We stayed in the B and B on the top floor. Went with another couple. It was nice we had our home room but plenty of locations to meet up and spend time together outside our room. Pool, outside deck, game room and tv room. Breakfast was good and it was nice meeting the other guests. Will definitely be back.
- Barbara (10/5): Finger lakes stay bu - Staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. Very pet friendly. Rooms were a bit dated, but very comfortable for our needs.
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Friendly environment, clean room - Great staff, room was clean and quiet. Breakfast wasn't available
- Susan (8/5): it was clean, comfortable and convenient, exactly what we needed! - It was clean and convenient to town and park. Loved the gazebo to play games with the family. Good price compared other places.
- Mary (10/5): - We enjoyed the staff. Cindy was very helpful and breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay again.
- Catherine (10/5): - Beautiful view and well kept property. Very nice people.
- yelena (7/5): -
- Raisa (8/5): - Location and the view Outdated furniture and bathroom
- Dana (8/5): - All was good
- Paul (8/5): -
- Henrietta (10/5): -
- dave (10/5): - Longhouse Manor is a quiet clean and friendly place that I would highly recommend
- Kevin (10/5): - We spent a few days up here for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the pool and the view. Landscaping was also a nice touch.
- Debbie (10/5): - The longhouse B & B provides a beautiful view of the lake. The facility is spacious, has many amenities, including a game room, heated pool, gazebo with fire pit and more. Included in your stay is a home cooked breakfast each morning, perfect for beginning your day. We enjoyed our stay.
- Tammie (10/5): - It was quiet. Beautiful property
- Timothy (10/5): - Very quaint. Beautiful gardens and view of Seneca Lake. If looking for a nice quiet and peaceful getaway this B&B is the ticket.
- Leslie (9/5): -
- Douglas (10/5): - Great view.
- Linda (10/5): - Location, met my needs for a weekend getaway
- Ronald (9/5): - Location
- Michele (10/5): - Longhouse manor has always been clean when staying there . Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. A few things in room could use updating (tv and ceiling fans ) and some doors don’t lock properly . All and all we love staying there.
- Eli (10/5): סבבוש - סבבה הכל
- D. Hoke (7/5): -
- Heather (10/5): - The house was very comfortable and welcoming and the staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms were a generous size and the interior design was "upscale homey". We will definitely be visiting again.
If I could make any recommendations: I am not sure if the facility has recycling available, but if they do, there are no clearly marked bins to separate materials from teh trash. And the pool table was a little unever and could be refelted.
But overall experience was great.
- James (10/5): - Well off the highway, pleasant, clean and very well equipped.
- chris (2/5): - Not worth the money. This is a party house. We got there and there was clothes all over the place and food.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Perfect location and wonderful staff
- Laura (5/5): - Location, view, cleanliness Older facility, the continental breakfast was just muffins and danishes. Expected more for the price
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We absolutely love this place but wish it was a tad bit cleaner, our room was great but some
Of the others were very dusty

- JAY (5/5): -
- Chelsi (4/5): Wouldn't stay here again. - Water was nice & hot. Rocking chairs were nice Walls are paper thin and can hear neighbors VERY well!! Traffic was loud. Light outside room shown in a night which wasn't good for sleeping.
- Bruce (9/5): The view from our room was spectacular. Will stay here again. - Excellent location and cute room. Bonus Gazebo with gas fire pit and pool out front would be great in the summer. Will definitely stay here again
