Guest Reviews
- Hanna (2/5): - The place is closed and they’re allowing people to pay to stay here still
- Evelyn (6/5): - The room was soooo cold. I don’t think they had a working heater In there.
- Shannon (2/5): - This hotel is disgusting! There are roaches it is dirty and looks nothing like the pictures. Rooms smell like mold and chemicals. Dirty carpets.
- Donna (4/5): - Check in was okay. Gentleman at the desk was nice. Room was adequate. However, there was no toilet paper, bath towels or soap. Called customer service, they sent over towels and tp. No towel bars or hooks, no tp holder. And no shower curtain. Tv froze halfway through a show we were watching. We did not stay for the second night, after a very busy day we choose to drive the 2 hours home instead.
- Jorge (4/5): - The key never worked. Rugs very filthy. No shower curtain. No ice in premises. Had to go to a different location to check in.
- Axel (2/5): - I like just the AC
the room was dirty and the bathroom tv not working overall that place was a mess and nasty
- Michael (6/5): - had to check in at a different location sliding door to balcony was broken
- JESSICA (4/5): - It was dirty. There was sand and a quater found in one of the beds. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The shower was flithy and it had bathmat covering a very dirty bathmat. The pool also looked not the cleanist.
- Michele (8/5): - I feel this is your basic beach hotel. Comfortable and Convenient..To check in you must go about 3 blocks up to the Boardwalk where the office is . The staff is amazing though and super accommodating . Seems as though they are working on fixing the rooms.
- Lahouc (2/5): - The property was listed in Expedia as a Hotel. It turend out to be less than one star Motel. The room was extrelmly dirty and the office was located 2 block away. No amenties as descriped online. Very poor condition. No one to talk to in the builidng no housekeeping/ riom service as listed
- Amy (2/5): - .
- naydeli (10/5): - first time here, everything was just like the picture, room was very comfortable and clean
- Michael (10/5): We will be back - We have stayed at different hotels in seaside over the years and this one we will continue to stay at! We were very pleased. We stayed in a deluxe room which had 2 queen beds and a couch with a pull out bed! Plenty of space for the family. We will be back Next Year!
The pool was good a little on the small side. We did not see a hot tub or second pool which is advertised when booking.
We do not have any bad things to say about this hotel.
- David (10/5): - This hotel is very amazing and comfortable the owner is nice and very helpful !! Will come back !!
- Joshua (4/5): - The bathroom was disgusting
- Danielle (2/5): - Absolutely filthy hotel. Our skin did not drain, our shower was disgusting, looked like it hadn’t been clean since last year. Staff was beyond rude and absolutely not accommodating. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk… also the “front desk” was at the board walk, so to check in or do anything you had to drive or walk there. Called for extra towels, staff wouldn’t bring them to our room and they were located at the boardwalk…
They allowed no guests to come to the room and had a security officer there all day everyday to ensure only hotel guests entered. Officer was also extremely rude with any encounter.
Lastly the would not allow us to start parked there for a few hours after checkout. Threatened to tow our car if we never left it to go get breakfast before heading home.
Overall terrible experience and would absolutely not book here or stay again.
- ana (6/5): - Fumando en los pasillos de la propiedad mariwana . El baño muy incómodo , no tenía limpieza suficiente , no tenía plancha ni bower para el pelo .
- Maksut (10/5): - T
- N2402AYangelap (2/5): Parents beware! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! - My son stayed here for a weekend with his friends. Upon checkout, he was told he would receive the security deposit back shortly. He waited several days, no refund. He contacted the hotel and they said he would receive the money in a few days. Guess what, still no money! My son went to the bank because the hotel insisted they refunded the security deposit. The bank had no record of the transaction; they only had a record of the money that was withdrawn. I called the hotel on my son's behalf and I was met with a resistant, rude, and unprofessional staff member who alleged there was nothing he could do to rectify the situation. As I pressed him to make it right, he proceeded to hang up on me. We will be pursuing this legally, but parents especially beware! This hotel does allow 18 year olds to make reservations and from our experience, they are trying to take advantage!
- Abanoub (10/5): - Very clean and quiet
- Deanna (10/5): - so much fun
- Markisa (2/5): - I booked for this hotel but was transferred to sea land hotel which was not what I expected I have a family of 7 children so I booked 2 rooms the rooms was not cleaned one room had a odor and the water didn’t get hot warm or anything I was told to let the water run and it will get hot soon there was a heater in the room that didn’t work when ask for a replacement they said they will bring a extra blanket which they did do I would never come back and would not recommend anyone else to either
- ALLYSSA (8/5): - Will be coming back for sure! The only problem we had was there were only 2 towels for 6 people and we didnt get new ones until we were checking out
- tamara (4/5): - Very dirty! You could tell they dont really clean after each guest. Bedding was gross, found hair and dirt on the bed and under the cover sheet. Floors haven’t seen a broom or water in a very long time. Bathroom has an infestation of sugar ants, had to throw away our toothbrushes!! Also the TV wasn’t attached to anything, no legs, just leaning on the dresser and wall. Bumped the table and the tv fell. Luckily I caught it before it slid off the dresser!! Also took about 20 minutes for anyone to come check us in. On a good note, its right on the boardwalk!
- Richard (2/5): - I was no toilet paper, not hot water etc etc
- Cortney (4/5): - Got to property had to go to a different property to check in.
room and keys didn’t work.
No hot water called the cell number given and told to let it run for 5 minutes nobody’s awake yet so the water will take a minute to heat up.
No washclothes or towels
remote doesn’t work
- LORENA (4/5): - The room was ok, but the smell was so bad like somebody was smoking for a week in that place
- Michael (2/5): - Honestly…. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. This was my first time staying over night in Seaside Heights Nj. I had no ideas where to stay, so I googled some rooms for a decent price, this one came up and looking at the pics, it looked totally decent for the price. I paid $500.00 for 2 nights and this place stank, felt dirty, broken blinds, no toilet paper holder, the floor was dirty, the plumbing sucked, the pool was small and dirty looking and it had a garden hose in it the whole time that was turned off. Our mini fridge didn’t work, the tv didn’t even have feet! It was just sitting on the dresser or table resting on the speakers looking like it was going to tip! This place needs to be kept up, and remodeled badly. It was a cool location near the beach and boardwalk, but I will never stay there again, and highly recommend that no one else does either.
- Lori (2/5): - Absolutely horrible, if you’re looking for a place to stay keep looking. First couldn’t find anyone in office to check us in, waited for 20 minutes until someone was found. When we walked into the room first thing we saw was an old ripped up chair , the tub had a hole on the bottom & I don’t know what kind of bed it was. I told the manager there was no way I was staying there , he did mention ve us to a slightly better room , the first room should honestly be condemned. If I can figure out a way to add pictures I would, I am not exaggerating, place was awful
- Mary (2/5): - The room and property were filthy and unsafe! As soon as we entered the room we were horrified! The room reeked of cigarettes, there were 3 random dirty beds! Broken AC with a loud old fan! I can never describe accurately how gross it was!!! We immediately left the room and went to the office to cancel and leave! They said they would send someone up to spray! We declined and l cancelled and said i need a full refund! They said the procedure is they cancel but Expedia issues the refund!!! When I called Expedia when I returned home from another hotel they said they called the Charlees Villas in Seaside Heights and they claim they said we just left but never officially canceled! I’m not sure which business is lying, however, I hold Expedia responsible! Their picture of the hotel was of a hotel on the beach with 2 queen beds, a clean room and private balcony! I can assure you that was completely incorrect!!!! First of all when we arrived they had us get back into our car and sent us to another hotel of there’s a few blocks away from the boardwalk in a very unsafe neighborhood! Expedia and the Charlee Villas both refuse to refund me my $658 !!! Please don’t ever book with Expedia or Charlee Villas in Seaside Heights NJ!!!!
- Joann (4/5): - My room had a very bad smell.
Get rid of rugs and put new ones.
Pool has dirty ring around it.
The out side floors and steps need sweeping and hosed down.
- ADRIAN (2/5): - This was the worst experience I ever had. The place is a dump. The staff is not friendly they are very rude, the room smelled like pee and was dirty. Horrible! Never again!!!!
- Paul (8/5): - Check-in was easy. Very close to board walk. Room was decent and worked for our family
- Sara (6/5): - Check in was at 3 however at 3 there was 5 families outside waiting to check in with no one in the office and no one answering any of the three numbers listed to call. Didn’t get to check in till closer to 4. Outside of property is very dirty as well as the pool. The room it’s self was not terrible however the floors were disgusting and turned all my socks black. There are also no pillows or blankets provided to use the pull out couch which was actually surprisingly clean. Only provided 3 towels for a group of 4 And was unable to get more. Big parking issue as people who were not supposed to park in the hotel lot did any way and our spot got stolen with nowhere else to go. Once again tried calling all the provided numbers to find out what todo and no one answered. We ended up getting a $45 parking ticket on the street. Doors are old and don’t lock properly. On the bright side, the water pressure is fantastic and the water gets very warm.
- Joe (2/5): - This place was so gross I bought an air mattress to sleep on and then threw it away. Do not stay.
- Eric (2/5): - Let me start off by saying I wish I could give zero stars because this place doesn’t deserve the one star that I gave them.
This was literally the worst hotel I’ve ever had to stay in. The pictures online look nothing like the actual room. We arrived and we’re immediately met by hundreds of flies. Tried to kill as many as I could and called the office and told them about it and they said they would bring spray and traps. That never happened.
My son and I were sweating and needed a shower but refused to stand in the filthy shower that had a brown stained bath mat and physical dirt in the shower.
There was physical dirt on the walls, our shoes stuck to the floor, the main bed had a duvet cover with no blanket so it was like sleeping with 2 sheets.
My son had to sleep on the pull out couch that had numerous stains on it (god only knows what the stains were).
He also had only a sheet to sleep with. We called the office again about this and never received a blanket.
We booked the room for 2 nights and tried to cancel our reservation for the second night and we were told that we had to go through Expedia and we did. After working with the agent at Expedia and the clerk in the office they said that they would refund my money then rudely threw me out of the office.
Still waiting to see if my money will be refunded but I’m not hopeful.
Avoid this hotel at all costs!
- Barbara (2/5): - The hotel was dirty the beds were uncomfortable 2 towels for a room that had 7 people was told we could check in at 2 wasn’t ready until after 3 awful would never recommend this place
- Verified traveler (2/5): - ARRIVED ON TIME FOR CHECK IN AND HAD TO WAIT EXTRA 30 MINUTES FOR ROOM TO BE CLEANED-RECEIVE KEYS..
- ERIN (6/5): Dumpster flies - Do not book the queen suite with balcony it overlooks the dumpster and balcony covered in flies. This was After we had to drive to 2nd location to check in. After we complained the manager did finally move us to another motel the sand and surf that was very clean with an outdoor ocean view
- Shanta Jaipaul (2/5): - This property was old and smells bad. However it’s conveniently close to the beach, water park, and boardwalk. Lots of restaurants. There is no breakfast and Expedia said there was. There is parking so that’s good. The pool looked gross lots of black debris on the bottom. You get what you pay for. I got some fabreeze. The bathtub was indeed creaking. Thought I was going to fall through.Lol my kids did not want to use the bathroom. They need some upgrades but definitely better cleaning .
- mariannemT6063RD (4/5): Now I know why they had vacancies, when no one else did. - The bed was too small for 2 people to be comfortable, it was suppose to be a queen, we have a queen at home. It said couch fits 2 people but it was only a small love seat. I saw roaches and gnats in the room. Never saw any staff on premises.
- Verified traveler (4/5): A hit & a miss - I like to give every situation the benefit of the doubt, but I was very disatisfied with this "hotel". Its more of a motel. If your just looking for a place to put your head down at night & plan to spend most of your time out, then this place may be ideal. However, I wouldn't recommend this motel for families or for a long stay. The room I was given was at 1211 Blvd. I cant speak about the other buildings that belong to Hotel Charlee but it had absolutely no inviting quality to it. I just felt that the room could've been cleaner & equipped with more amenities without having to ask for them. I hope this review helps.
- Diana (2/5): - This is a very old building with terrible maintenance. Half of the electrical outlets in our room didn't work. There was no microwave in our room despite being advertised. No daily house keeping or even fresh towels. We had to go to the office to ask about these basic items.
- juan (6/5): - There was no hot water at all..
- Beverly (4/5): Don’t stay there - First the pool had no steps and we are old. Nobody on site to see what goes on at night. Parking was very tight. Beds were fine. The place was a dump
- Jeremy (8/5): - Great for the price
- BENJAMIN (6/5): - Walking distance to boardwalk
- Julio (6/5): - the pool was a bit dirty.
- Beverly (4/5): - Location, Location, Location! Only 1 1/2 blocks to the beach! This is a great hotel for that alone, but that’s where it ends. The outside looks nice enough, but the carpet was dirty, the bathroom was filthy (minus the toilet, which was clean), the sink was disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned at all, the bottom of the bathtub had been painted, and the “bedspreads” are more like a very thin coverlet which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Mine had stains all over it. We were freezing, so we had to fold the coverlets in half and put our clothes on top of them for warmth. The beds were decent, but sketchy, and we had to first inspect them for bedbugs. One mattress cover had brown stains on it. Be aware that the property manager is not onsite, but rather two blocks away and that there isn’t any daily maid service (though a few clean towels showed up one day.) There we’re no washcloths or hand towels either. When we got there the carpet on one side of the room was sopping wet. I reported it and he said someone would be over to wet vac it up, but no one ever came. We had a balcony room, which was perfect for viewing the 4th of July fireworks. The property manager at the other property where you check in was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again for the convenience, but I would bring my own cleaning supplies and scrub the bathroom first, as well as wash clothes and hand towels. Also be advised there are three levels with no elevator.
- alcides (4/5): - They don’t have bathroom towels. , … principal thing on a hotel…..
- Stormy (6/5): - Wasn’t very clean
- E5418KGdd (2/5): Don’t go here if you want to get scammed - If I could give this place a 0 I would. When me and my friends walked into the room there was already broken stuff in the room. And they make you put a $200 security deposit down. And I call them asking about my deposit because I haven’t gotten my money back yet and they told me to call back in 1 hour. And when I did they blocked my number. The room we stayed at had a broken curtain rack, cracked door frame, some sort of dust all over the bathroom, water damaged walls, uncleaned pull out bed(had blood, stains, and stuff that looked like feces on it), also I huge ant problem, also including that the room cards will stop working out of no where and they make you go all the way back to there office.
- Thomas (2/5): - Didn’t like it was dirty
- Joseph (4/5): - It was in a very seedy area and I did not stay there. I will be asking for a full refund.
- Sussely (6/5): - Room was ok specially the view The balcony room can be an Luxury room if they work on the carpet , windows pool and stairs , the whole building need some remodeling , also you never find assistance if you need to talk to someone about something wrong in the room if is night time, the short staff is a problem because you have to check in and check out at different hotel is very inconvenience when you have kids , the person at the front desk was very nice and polite.
- Christine (2/5): - No towels or wash clothes, no extra bedding for the sofa bed, have to check in at a different property. Nobody there so had to call and wait for them to come give keys. Very outdated and used. Bed smelled of urine. No refundable.
- Lenny (2/5): I was verbally abused, misled, robbed BY STAFF - I was refused after being told I should come there and he would have my room for me but I was told to call hotels.com cancel my reservation and pay cash. I told him my date was in my itinerary he lied and told me it was booked for a different date. Than my fiancé was exhausted after a tedious day on the job (EMS & Charter Boat Captain) the man on the phone told him to “F*ck off” He lied to us and told us to come and than as we arrived still on the phone told us not to come and there were no rooms. He was violent and aggressive. If you want to not be verbally abused and criminally robbed don’t go here.
- Robert (6/5): - The room we were originally given had 2 portable heaters that maxed out at 55 degrees. We were then given a different room that had heat
- Audrie (2/5): - The pictures represented false advertising. Outdated, not clean, broken doors, broken tiles, dirty carpets, I didn't have a television or microwave in my room as promised. I booked a nice queen suite however it was outdated; bed not comfortable and air conditioners did not work. This place needs a lot of work. I couldn't stay here and asked for my money back after 1 day. My key never worked to get into my room so basically, I didn't even have a key to my room. The managers indicated I would receive a refund however I have not received anything! It was a nightmare I was sick after the first night because of the dust and filthy room. No elevator, no ice, leaking faucet/ tub and as indicated my air conditioning didn't work. I would never stay here again.
- jeff (2/5): - Horrific Joke.
Worst excuse for a pretend Hotel I have ever experienced.
Never got in. Never saw a room. Never saw a desk staff. Asked on phone 3 times for Him to come out into street and prove their was an entrance. He would not!
I was ripped off! These days its dark at checkin.
The bldg had no lights. The windows and doors were shuttered. The place looked condened! There was no entrance. The phone is answered by someone supposedly a couple a blocks away. But He cant be found. He is in some unlit house, with no sign......
Never found Him. He didnt care!
I drove back home!
- 918lynno (2/5): I would rather stay at the Bates Motel - My friend made these reservations. We had a hard time finding it because it looks nothing like the pictures they post. When we pulled up, we found that they have no one on duty and that we had to go to another motel they were at to check in. When we got back, we walked up the 3 flights and noticed the filth and garbage in the outside hallways. We wisely decided to leave our luggage and anything that wasn't necessary for the night in the car. Disgusting isn't a strong enough word. The furnishings looked they were picked up off the curbside before the garbage man got them. Nothing matched and was old and ripped. The bathroom was so bad that we felt cleaner not showering and there was no hot water anyway. In the morning, we threw the socks we had worn walking on the "carpeting" into the garbage. The one star is a gift.
- Pamela (10/5): - i loved how it was within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk! i also really loved the amount of beds in our room it was amazing and accomodated everyone perfectly! the only downfall was we were only given 1 bath towel for a party of 6 made it hard to shower and by the time we got to our room it was late to ask for more but other then that it was amazing! perfect for A FAMILY TRIP!! also the check in host was super nice
- Denise (6/5): - Place is run down. Needs some paint. No comforter on the beds. Looked more like a tablecloth. Did not receive clean towels for the weekend we stayed. Have to walk blocks to get to the office.
- Alexander (8/5): - A nice experience for the price
- Lisa (2/5): - I had the worst experience and feel like I got scammed. They charged me 65 more after I got there cause they said my room wasn’t available. The hotel building didn’t match the reservation. I am so upsetv
- Verified traveler (4/5): Stay at main location - Charged an extra$25 to move us after my wife and I complained about the condition of the first room.
Checkin was also 2 blocks from room.
- Nicola (2/5): - Disgusting
- Daniel (2/5): Stay somewhere else! - This place (villas) was extremely dirty and wasn’t ready until 4pm. Told me to meet him there from other property. Drug deal going down in parking lot and extremely dated facility with TONS of mildew in the bathroom
- Michelle (2/5): - This was THE most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. The room smelled musty/funky. There were mold spots on the ceilings and some walls, numerous fruit flies too. ZERO towels!! Not even a wash cloth! I wondered why the toilet paper was on the back of the toilet and not on the holder. Found out when I tried putting it WHERE IT BELONGS ...the whole holder fell off the wall!! Opened the pull out couch to a sheet that looked like it hadn't been washed in over a year! Crumbs all over the sheet. Our keys didn't work so someone had to come out to give us new ones. There's enough parking in the lot for maybe 10 cars. I could write a novel about the grossness of this place!! For the price we paid, I could have spent $50 more for the night and slept somewhere I wasn't afraid of getting bedbugs from and trust me, I've stayed in some dumps before but NOTHING compared to this place!!
- Trinya (4/5): - This is a review of a balcony double queen room only.
Pros
-Staff was friendly when I interacted with them.
-We had a balcony room and a great view of the fireworks from there.
-Our room had two queens and a daybed with a trundle under it, meaning it could sleep up to 6 people.
-Trundle was covered in plastic under the sheet, meaning it is probably intended for kids.
- Motel is a couple blocks from the beach/boardwalk.
-It is a motel and not a hotel, meaning the rooms are accessed through the outside, which means the smoke smell from the smokers didn't get trapped in our room as it can from the hallways as we have experienced in the past.
-Room was larger than most.
Cons:
- Our room was provided with 4 towels placed on a desk near the door and not in the bathroom. We had no washclothes or hand towels.
-Old and dark rug held an odor, but luckily you got used to the smell pretty quickly.
-The old thin rug was coming apart at the seems and we moved a chair that showed the dirt underneath that hadn't been vacuumed. It continued to show the dirt that piled up after our two day stay.
-We stayed for two days and not once did someone come to make up our beds, give us new towels, empty the one small garbage in the bathroom, or vacuum our rug.
-Lots of smokers outside our room made it unbearable to go out and ashes were on the ground everywhere.
-Pool is very small, but appeared clean.
-Plastic on trundle made too much noise.
-No elevator-3 Floors.
- Sarah Kate (8/5): - Better than I thought it would be
- Rocio (8/5): - At first I didn’t like boardwalk area there were too many teenagers fighting and acting obnoxious. But the manager was very friendly and helpful in our stay.
- Andreia (2/5): - Not a good deal place
- Fidel (6/5): - More clean of carpet
- Rosemarie (8/5): - Rugs need to be removed n something to the pool. Otherwise very clean n comfortable
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not too bad - Front desk guy was nice. The keys to the room stopped working during our stay and we were locked out of our room for an hour till someone came and gave us new keys. The sheets had blood and stains on them. Limited free parking. Late check out is nice. Place has a pool but did not use it.
- Kenneth (10/5): - good place to stay
- Donna (2/5): - Room was OLD leaked in bathroom Tv box fell off the wall problems with key card the whole time never stay there again
- Shelby (8/5): - Honestly was nicer than most places in seaside but there were hella nats coming out of the sink
- elaina (2/5): - It was the worst hotel every stayed very dirty first room we were going to stay in had food still in fridge and there was garbage under the sofa the moved us to another room room was still dirty no towels very creepy if i could have got my money woyld have never stayed
- John (4/5): its seaside i guess you get what you get - water dips from the ceiling onto the toilet. you can see into the bed from the walkway next to window ac unit. room has a musty or mold smell when we walked in. stains on walls and carpet. slept on my towel from home. friendly staff and super clean pool is all its got going for it. get your "GF" hammered if you wanna get some when you get back to your room! i failed the walk back sobered her up so grab a 12 of white claws
- Noel (2/5): - Nada que ver con las fotos que tienen en el sitio web
- Janet (2/5): - The place have dirty rooms a bad order and Everything is all broken down.
- Ashley (6/5): - Check in was a block and a half away from the actual hotel. Thankfully a young couple told us about it otherwise we would have been clueless
- Maximiliano da (2/5): - please do not rent this place it’s dirty old smells bad bugs all over the place old not well treated at all…I do not recommend worst place I have ever been in my life..
- Elise (2/5): - Disgusting, the room was very dirty. No refrigerator, towels, toilet paper, hair dryer or Sheets for pull out sofa. Do not bring your child here, I am sad Expedia omitted reviews & recommended this property. The property it’s self reeked of urine, lots of sketchy guests, the pool was nothing above a body of water near a toxic dump The hotel manager was rude and had to be called at least 5 times to come “clean” the room, replace the refrigerator and bring sheets. Room never got cleaned, sheets, refrigerator & towels did come but after asking a few times. Do not stay here, I feel lucky we had no instance of bed bugs. Also a great place if you want to stay awake all night hearing guests having intimate moments, or domestic disputes.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No toilet paper. No garbage can. Everyone was smoking.
- Milton (8/5): - It's placed in a very good area
- Sebastian (8/5): - It good
- Samantha (2/5): - We paid almost $400 for one night, which is outrageous. The room we seen online is not the room we got. The room was disgusting. There was garbage under the bathroom sink, no knob on the shower, the lights did not work (except one lamp), the couch had a dirty sock and cheezits in it, and all the mattress were dirty and stained. I would ask for my money back but I am thinking they would argue with me since they weren’t the friendliest and didn’t even move our rooms.
- Jared (8/5): - I wish the pool was open later. Easy to walk around and get to the beach.
- Frank (2/5): - This was the worst experience i ever had down the shore. The main office is several blocks away from the actual hotel. The hotel was very outdated and not kept up at all. The rooms were completely outdated had a funky smell to them there was mold in the tub. The TV had no plug so couldn't watch TV. The door looked like someone had bromen inor out of the room. The place was called the hotel charlee but no where at the hotel does it say charlee. Its says palm villas. Very poor management and no where near the price they charge. Complete Rip off. Do not recommend at all. Very disappointing.
- Katelyn (2/5): - Owner was not at hotel and said he couldn’t get us into the room we paid for. And when we called he hung up on us and sent us to another hotel and we got scammed
- Aryan (2/5): - It was disappointing, Not clean, old and dirty blankets, sofa and everything. Never recommend it totally.
- Verified traveler (2/5): This place sucks! - The room was not at the location listed. There was not in 'the office' i had to check in by phone. Room was dirty, worn down, no lights, small space heater to heat room. We would not even put our bags down. When we returned the keys suddenly a human appeared and yelled at us to just go away, did not want to hear our concerns.
- Brelie Gail (2/5): - Does not accommodate military, will not be staying here on our next visit to Jersey Shore!!
- Nina (2/5): - Don’t be fooled by the pictures! This place is LESS than your typical Jersey shore motel it’s not a hotel as listed. Access to the rooms are from the outside only there are those elevators only stairs to the third-floor. The pool is about 10’ x 8’ in the enclosed fence area of maybe 15’ x 15’. Drug dealers conducting transactions constantly in plain view. This place is an absolute dump.
- Nicole (2/5): - Nothing was like the ad
- Gina (4/5): - The hotel was old and run down. Our room waa not cleaned well. There were little black flies in the bathrooms and room..i had to clean the bathroom myself. The floors/carpets were not clean amd vacuumed. Our roomsmelled like weed which was not acceptable considering this was a family vacation. The pool was disgusting to say the least. People were throwing dirty watet that they used to wash their clothes. This place was unacceptable!!! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointing 😞
- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay - It was okay. The place was run down, walkways were filthy but the room was spacious. No closet to hang clothes, no towel rack, but it's Seaside Heights there aren't any 4 star options to begin with. The location was great, the manager was super helpful, couldve been worse
