- Kayla (1/5): Make sure you're willing to park on your car on the street when you stay here. - N/a The fact that even if you request a parking space with your online booking you are not allowed to park in the hotel parking! There were available parks when we arrived, and I was told on the phone that if we arrived by check in and there were available spots we could have a parking spot however when we arrived, we were told that we had to be staying for 7 nights to be allowed to have a parking spot, and we had to park our car on the street. Also there were cockroaches in our room.

- Kalli (1/5): I would not recommend this place. - Location was excellent The toilet seat was loose. We were advised there were no car parks available inside the property after our arrival. Kitchen tap was loose. Incorrect amounts were deducted from our account including a security deposit of $100 we were not advised about and it’s still has not been refunded. Decor in rooms and reception was cheap and not value for rate charged. Inadequate soap provided for 2 people. Air conditioning system also noisy.
- Tyarna (2/5): - I would not recommend this hotel based on my recent stay. For the price, it is very outdated, other hotels in the same location are much nicer and charge a similar rate. The biggest concern was the lack of security. The same key unlocks the gate, the main entrance, and every single hotel room. We tested (with another guest’s consent), and our keys could open each other’s rooms. On top of this, there is no internal lock or latch in the room, meaning you cannot secure the door from inside the room. This is extremely unsafe, especially when traveling with children. Cleanliness was also an issue. The room had clearly not been properly cleaned (I have several photos as evidence). The bathroom was in poor condition – when I turned the shower on, a leak in the silicone seal caused water to flow directly onto the bathroom floor. I booked a king-size bed, and during confirmation was asked if I preferred a king or two singles. I said either was fine, but was instead given a double bed, which was disappointing. Finally, both my child and I woke up covered in bites, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and pest control. Overall, this hotel was far below standard in terms of safety, cleanliness, and comfort. I would strongly advise booking elsewhere.

- rngh91 (10/5): Top notch for Townsville - 5/5 accom. No issues at all. I stayed here for an overnight business trip. Friendly check in staff. The room was clean and secure - that’s all I ask for. Great location on Palmer Street with some lovely restaurants across the road and close by. Things to be mindful of - parking was a bit scarce and there were a lot of FIFO workers staying at this accom too.

Our other family members stayed there as well and also commented how hard the beds are. Might be something to look into long term.

The fact that we were there for 5 days and the rooms were not serviced at all is disappointing. We were constantly requesting towels, toilet paper, tea/coffee. I understand that rooms need not be serviced everyday but at least once during our stay would have been helpful. The cleaning staff were very obliging when we needed to empty bins etc. Some of the front line staff were very helpful. Some consideration needs to be given to early check-in and late check-out.

Given proximity to pubs its was a little noisy at night. Was expensive for what the property offered, but all properties in the area were equally expensive

Great location but I would def recommend staying on the upper levels as is no view from the lower floors. Also parking at night was a challenge as its first in first served and if yr paying $25 for secure parking Down stairs u def need a park! Staff were amazing tho and I would def recommend staying there as it is close to the stadium and the city!! Looking forward to my next stay 🙏🏼 The fight to get a car park in the evenings

For that to occur it’s found something right. The staff are great and know many on a first name basis….but the processes! - stop ringing us a eeek out from when we are staying there - quite the incessant SMS notifications - why do we always have to sign in on a dodgy tablet? - install some streaming services
