• Verified traveler (4/5): - Bathroom roof dirty. Noisy rooms. Bed are hard and uncomfortable. Pillows were flat. Carpet was disgusting. No receipts given and hotel staff not friendly. Very disappointed for what we paid.
• Paul (8/5): Small country pub with modern motel attached. - Happy with my room. It was spacious and the bed OK if a little on the firm side. The TV was too small for the size of the room (it was tiny). There was no shampoo or conditioner provided. I would expect that for the price. The associated hotel was good and the staff were extremely nice. I think they got the Pool table from Russel Kerrigan (The Castle). The food from the bistro was excellent. Massive pizzas and great ribs. Beer was cold and you've got to be happy with that. It would have been better if they had a TV with the Footy on. The only TVs in the bar were for the keno. I was forced to watch the Rugby League World Cup match between Australia and England on my postage stamp sized tv in my room. In conclusion I would stay there again.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Quiet room but expensive for the accommodation - The room was very quiet which was great, but let down by a very small TV and only one bar stool in the room (to use laptop). Bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows so didn't get a good nights sleep. Only had one hangar in the wardrobe! No restaurant on the Sunday evening, no breakfast or evening meal on Monday due to a public holiday. Disappointed as this was the very reason we chose this particular motel (the Bistro)
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Keep in mind it is an older hotel. It was clean, we stayed in a family unit and the shower did sort of spray all over the floor as, it was just the tiled floor of the bathroom, no lip. But it didn't bother us.
• Koolly (8/5): Family room: Clean and pleasant room - Super clean room and beds are comfortable. It looks it had just been recently renovated. Staff are friendly. We reached the motel when the sky turns dark and we took a while to find the reception which is located inside a pub not far from the motel. There is no internet in all rooms in the motel. If you want Internet access, you have to go to the reception area.
• ted (8/5): Hotel motel near Gympie - A good place just outside town . It was perfect for our needs. Clean and comfortable for our overnight stay.
• Jamie (10/5): Warm, friendly, service and atmosphere - Tremendous staff that couldn't do enough for us, very friendly and went out of there way to make sure we were happy. The meas at the hotel were huge and there was a great selection of well priced meals. The hotel and lounge/ dining area had character and charm and a real homely feeling. I will definitely be staying again.

The accommodation was modern - no terrible 70s, 80s and 90s décor to be seen. And to top it all off - my private balcony had a rainforest view - stunning!
