• Leigh (10/5): Ideal place to stay in Newstead - We stay here frequently, the place is modern with a good gym, outdoor pool on the roof, and magnificent views of downtown Brisbane. Ideal location too, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. No downsides!

• Helen (5/5): Poor - Easy to get lift up and down to room. -Lack of friendliness by staff member on arrival. It felt like she was only interested in obtaining the credit card details. Staff member did not give me WiFi details. I had to ask the following day. -When I asked for green tea I was told the IGA supermarket was 5 mins walk away. Paying over $500 on a Saturday night should mean a coffee machine is provided as well as herbal tea. Paying over $500 per night but there was no room service on the weekend!

• Samantha (10/5): Great rooms and close to everything - Amazing location, friendly staff and great spacious room! Rooftop area is great too for sunset, with sweeping views of Brisbane. Close to cafes, great restaurants and James street. Highly recommend staying here - we will be back again soon!

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Good place for short or longer stays. Easy walking to local cafes and James Street 5 minutes walk. Can definitely recommend.

• Sophie (1/5): Disgusting customer service. - Disgusting customer service. I made a booking for a group which included a pregnant woman. The pregnant group member wanted to check in before myself as she was feeling unwell. On arrival, she was initially denied entry into the building and made to stand on the street at 11:30 at night. This was the time that I had indicated that we would check in, so staff should have been expecting us. She was then allowed in but was unable to check in or access the room as I was not with her. Customer service made no attempt to contact me and treated a pregnant woman with a complete lack of dignity and respect for her safety.

The furniture within the room was oversized/bulky and no vanity in the bathroom. The gym was cardio only, wish it had weights in there as well. Price per night I would say were overpriced for what it was. When leaving the car park it wasn't automatic and had to wait for a staff member to manually open the car park door. Staff were friendly, however, I would not stay here again.

• ExScot22 (10/5): Business trip- June,'25 - I spent two nights at the hotel on business, recommended by other users in the company. I had a 1 bed apartment. The room was very well appointed for both business and longer private accommodation, especially with the clothes washing facilities. (Nice to see a good quality Iron and ironing board for those who travel with un-ironed clothes). There was a good working space also to set a computer up. TV with a normal Foxtel box was ideal for downtime. Bedroom was well furnished. Staff were pleasant and efficient. The hotel is well situated within walking distance of the city and Storey Bridge. Will use the hotel again when visiting Brisbane

• John (9/5): Superb - Comfortable and private. Bold colour choices - loved the black walls in our apartment. Short walk to amenities and attractions in Fortitude Valley.

Too few towels, no little vanity sets, toothbrushes etc. or even a biscuit or two at the coffee station like most other hotels in this price range have as standard. The carpets have a strange smell. Overall it was fine for a night but I wouldn’t return.

Hard mattress, supposed to be memory gel but probably so old, like the saggy lounge. No support left. Sink didn’t drain properly, after complaint, was fixed however the filthy water was tipped into and left in toilet. Room smelt, think carpets need a clean.

We had 4 people in a 2 bedroom apartment. There was only one tv (none in the bedrooms) and one 3 seater couch, so not even enough sitting space for everyone in the family. Disappointing

• Lisa (4/5): I wouldn’t choose to stay here again - Although the location was convenient, it was extremely noisy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the rooms are outdated and they have a musky damp smell. The bathrooms clean had mouldy seals etc and a weird smell.
• worktotravel010 (10/5): 4 days in Luxury. - I had 4 days here recently with a girlfriend. We had an executive 2 bed 2 bath apartment which was spacious and well fitted out. It was my second stay and loved the location and everything the apartment had to offer. The layout was perfectly suited to 2 women who want to spend time together but appreciate their own space. The proximity to restaurants, bars, shops and public transport were sensational. Would highly recommend.

• Megsy911 (10/5): Enjoyed our stay - The rooms are beautifully appointed and stylish. Plenty of space with a separate bedroom, lounge and small dining area. All the amenities included to make your stay comfortable, huge fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, hair-dryer, straightener etc. Perfect place for a longer stay, but luxurious also for a shorter stay. Pool and BBQ area is large and there's plenty of seating and lounge chairs. Gym well appointed with cardio equipment. Walking distance to James St shops and restaurants and other cafes close by. Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay again, as it was also a great price.

• Bec (8/5): - The Check in was so easy. Great staff and professionalism. The only issue we found was the TV wasn’t a smart TV and didn’t connect to apps as we are used to. But we didn’t spend too much time in the room. No hot tub and the gym was a bit disappointing. Bed was only a queen and a bit cramped for 2 large adults. But the overall stay was great. I would stay again if it were just me, but not suitable for me and my husband.
