Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good experience for exploring Halong Bay, friendly stuff and good food.
- LAURENCE (8/5): - Guide and boat staff were very helpful and made us very welcome
- Elizabeth (8/5): Pleasant - A pleasant 2 day one night trip Ha long bay is beautiful
- Ray (8/5): Cruise around Ha Long bay - The cruise was a good experience as we stayed on the boat by the bay for 1 night.
The room was okay with fruits and bottled water provided in the room. The hot water and air conditioning will only turn on at certain period of time. The toilet shower area will flood as the boat slants to the other direction of the floor trap.
The cruise provided scrumptious meals while on the boat which will feed everyone at your table generously.
Drinks are billed separately and paid in total when we checkout. Price wise is quite reasonable.
There are activities like Squid fishing, karaoke, board games and happy hour at night and we can spend the night looking at Ha Long bay at the top deck which is an open area with pool chairs.
The cruise included the tour to the Pearl farm with kayaking, Ti-top island and the Amazing Cave.
This package also include hotel transfer to and fro ha long bay to your hotel in Old Quarter which is good.
Our guide Linda is amazing as she can explain most of the tour in detail. A side note, she looks quite serious even when she is telling a joke.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great service - The stay was comfortable and crew members took good care. The tour guide 'TU' is a nice guy and he entertains a lot.
- Irene (4/5): Expensive and rushed - Our room was nice and spacious, the staff were mostly friendly and helpful and the view is beautiful. However, the whole cruise was very rushed, we were herded around like cattle, along with dozens of other tour groups to the same tourist spots, with very little time to relax. Very little time to spend in our room and then we were kicked out before 10am and so had a couple of hours to wait on the boat where we couldn't enjoy our room and had to squish into the communal areas. Weather was rainy and there was no covered area outside. Have to pay for ALL drinks including coffee, juice, which were expensive and the staff serve drinks at meals as though they are included. Food was ok, plenty of it but definitely not to the standard that you can usually get in Vietnam - lots of fried food and not really traditional Vietnamese. Also, at the beginning the staff tried to take my son's passport off the boat without explaining what they were doing. They said it was for a ticket or insurance or something but it seemed suspicious to me. My husband and I refused to leave without it and demanded it back. They also tried to put us in a regular double room at first when we paid (handsomely) for a triple and it was only after some very firm statements from us that we wouldn't accept less than what we paid for that they moved us to our correct room.
Company of other tourists was good and while there were some enjoyable aspects overall it was expensive and not relaxing. I will not go again.
- Emil (8/5): Great seafood - The boat was a bit old, nice room, extremely hard bed (almost impossible to sleep on), size of room was good for a boat. There was nothing to put our things on in the cabin (even one chair). The worst thing was that the bed was big, but with inly one small covering (suitable for one person). The food was plentyful and excellent.
Also keinen Luxusliner erwarten.
Und :Getränke an Bord werden in US$ gerechnet: Bier ca. 2,50$
