Peter (7/5): - Location, Balcony, equipped Kitchen. At times the water pressure was very poor, particularly at night.
Manuel (3/5): Gute Lage aber grausiges Hotel - Die Lage ist recht gut. Alles Wichtige ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besonders empfehlenswert für Familien ist der schöne Park mit Spielplatz ganz in der Nähe. Supermärkte sind genau nebenan und die U-Bahn ist auch nicht weit. Das Hotel liegt wahrlich nicht im besten Teil der Stadt und direkt über einem Club. Auf der Straße sind Nachts und am frühen Morgen ein paar seltsame Gestalten unterwegs, die gerne stundenlang herumgröhlen. Das war bei uns in drei aufeinanderfolgenden Nächten der Fall. Die Zimmer wirken insgesamt Recht heruntergekommen. Die Kleiderschranktür war zerbrochen. Es sah aus, als hätte jemand mit der Faust hineingeschlagen. Die Herdplatten haben nicht funktioniert und im Schrank stand leidig sauberes Geschirr, das aussah als wäre es aus Verschenkekisten am Straßenrand zusammen gesammelt worden. Alles in der Küche wirkte leicht angesifft und zum Putzen gab es nur eine fast leere Flasche Spüli und einen alten, bereits benutzten Spüllappen. Unter den Betten lag eine dicke Staubschicht und irgendwelcher Müll von den vorherigen Gästen. Wir waren froh, dass das Wetter schön war und wir nicht länger auf dem Zimmer bleiben mussten als unbedingt notwendig. Für all das war das Hotel viel zu teuer. Bei 40 Euro pro Nacht hätte ich so etwas erwartet und mich sicher nicht dermaßen geärgert. Aber 160 Euro pro Nacht für so eine vernachlässigte Butze sind die reinste Abzocke.

Der Eigentümer war super nett und freundlich. Wochenende ist es ziemlich laut bis spät in die Nacht aber das wussten wir ja schon. Uns hat es nicht gestört.

Celia (3/5): Très onéreux. Pas vraiment davantage. Chambre étroite. L’hôtel n’a pas de parking! - Aucune possibilité de prendre de petit déjeuner. Pas de salle de réception. Pas de Sas d’entrée. Pas d’accueil. Un balcon c’est davantage une issue de secours. La vue de la chambre n’est pas du tout celle des photos. On se sentait à l’étroit dans la chambre . Forte odeur de cigarette dans les couloirs. Et il n’y a pas de parking: les parkings autour n’appartiennent pas à l’hôtel et sont payants tous les jours et toutes la journée! Je ne recommande pas pour ceux qui sont véhiculés.

SULE EBRU (5/5): Cologne trip - Location and kitchenette Radiator /heating did not work first 2 days but sorted in rest of 2 days of our stay. Not sure why but maybe because it is like a flat no cleaning or towel change happened.
van den Broek (8/5): Clean and spacious appt, close to 1 of the x-mas markets - Descent size appartment (top level) with very comfortable beds. All amanities are available for the dishes and showering. Small elevator brings you up. You can checkin with the provided code. Ampido parking (see app) is next to the Citypark hotel. Altough we are fast sleepers you can still hear the sounds/bass of the discotheque until the late morning (10:00). Shower temperature goes down and up (dangerously high) and sometimes there is no water pressure. Too dangerous to shower the kids unattended.

Candy (5/5): Leider nicht wie erhofft - Die Lage ist super - das Zimmer ist o.k. - das war's dann leider auch schon für den Preis - hätten wir deutlich mehr erwartet Die Ausstattung der "Küche" ist sehr spärlich. Es gibt einen Topf, keine Schüsseln usw. Also - irgendwas außer Eier kochen - fast unmöglich. Ansonsten war das Zimmer o.k. In der Wohnung ist es allerdings schon sehr laut, direkt unter dem Hotel ist ein Club. Der hatte Freitag bis 04:00 Uhr und Samstag open End auf. Wir sind gegen 11:00 Uhr abgereist, da wummerte der Bass immer noch. Da konnten auch die bereit gelegten Ohropax nicht helfen.

Rocio (7/5): Dormir con la fiesta - La ubicación es buena, cerca del centro, el espacio estaba limpio. E:l alojamiento se ubica en la planta superior de un bar, por lo que el ruido y el sonido de las bocinas impiden dormir , solo el cansancio te da breves momentos de sueño.

Lauren (3/5): Not as advertisied. - Can not think of any positives. Asked to provide personal details on a sheet including passport details and address, and slide it under a door, as we did not see one member of staff our entire stay. They came into our room late afternoon on our day of arrival, after we'd left our belongings, and left the sheet to complete, which felt invasive. Everything about it is very dated. States 'no smoking', but it smells really badly of cigarettes, especially on entry. Cleanliness was an easy zero, honestly very bad. There were no curtains! Only see-through voil-style curtains, which covered half the windows. Location is not only noisy, but pretty scary. Some not nice people hanging around the door and area.

Jessie (4/5): À éviter si c’est pour une nuit en couple ou en famille. - La chambre était confortable et plutôt jolie. Le séjour a mal commencé car l’hôte nous avait donné le mauvais numéro de chambre. 15 minutes de perdu devant la porte. Mauvaise odeur dans l’entrée. Surprise quand nous arrivons à la chambre qui se trouve être en haut d’une boîte de nuit techno. Merci la nuit en amoureux et les gens bourrés devant la porte le lendemain matin.

James (8/5): Good location and good value for money - The location was close to the subway/rail links. There were supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The room had a kitchen and fridge. Kostas the landlord was very nice. Bed was slightly hard, pillow was too soft. Extension plug socket was difficult to connect.
Michels (10/5): - Mir und meiner Schwester,hat es an nichts gefehlt. Für unsere Bedürfnisse war das Zimmer perfekt. Man erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, schnell und einfach. Und wenn man nirgendwo hinfahren will,brauch man nur vor der Tür. Party an jeder Ecke. Wenn ich nächste mal in Köln bin,werde ich mein Zimmer ,wieder im City Park Hotel buchen. 👍

Ana (8/5): - The City Park Hotel is very well located, surrounded by green areas, shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions timely. The room was big enough to accommodate the three of us and had everything we needed for a short stay. We recommend it!
Svenja (4/5): Enttäuschend und viel zu teuer - Gute Lage, gleich zwischen Belgischem Viertel und Ehrenfeld. Direkt nebenan ist ein Aldi und ein Rewe, falls man sich schnell etwas zu Essen kaufen möchte. (Hier kann man theoretisch auch auf dem Parkplatz parken, kostet aber 3 € die Stunde.) Auch die Straßenbahnhaltestelle 'Köln West' ist gleich nebenan. Unser Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Balkon mit Sonnenschirm. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Waschbecken im Bad war undicht und hat getropft, wir mussten den Badmülleimer unterstellen um eine Überschwemmung des Bodens zu vermeiden. Die Tür zum Badezimmer ist eine Glas-Schiebetür gewesen durch die man ALLES sehen konnte. Wenn jemand auf der Toilette sitzt oder duscht hört man nicht nur alles, man sieht auch alles, wenn man möchte. Der Lichtschalter für das Badezimmer war zudem so angebracht, dass man erst von außen die Schiebetür komplett schließen musste, um das Licht anzumachen (da der Schalter direkt hinter der Schiebetür war) und dann musste man die Tür wieder öffnen um ins Bad zu kommen. Die Schiebtür hat auch sehr gehakt und man hat sie oft nur mit viel Gerüttel bewegen können. Das Bett war recht schmal und nicht sehr bequem. Es ist eine kleine Küchenzeile dabei, dort darf man allerdings nicht mit Öl kochen. Außerdem war die Küche recht spartanisch ausgestattet, es gab z.B. nur eine Gabel. Im Kühlschrank war ein integriertes Kühlfach, diesem fehlte allerdings die Tür, so dass es im Kühlschrank viel zu kalt war und unsere Lebensmittel angefroren sind. Zudem ist das Hotel direkt über einem Club oder einer Bar, die man am Wochenende definitiv bis spät in die Nacht hören kann. Es gibt keine Rezeption und generell wirkt das ganze Gebäude (Flure, Aufzug, Zimmer,...) etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Mit Zetteln im Flur wird dafür geworben, doch bitte aus Nachhaltigkeitsgründen den Müll ordentlich zu trennen und ggf. selbst in den Mülleimern im Flur zu entsorgen, im Zimmer selbst gibt es aber nur einen Mülleimer für alles. Das Zimmer ist nicht extrem schlecht, aber alles in allem war es sehr enttäuschend und einfach viel, viel, viel zu teuer für das, was man geboten bekommt.
Oda (6/5): Für einen kurzen Städtetrip in Ordnung. - Die Lage am Belgischen Viertel war toll. Das Zimmer war groß und ansprechend. Dass es durch den Club unten bis weit in den Morgen recht laut ist, wussten wir. Der Vermieter hat netterweise sogar Ohropax vorbeigebracht. Zimmer und Mobiler waren sehr abgewohnt und nicht wirklich sauber. Die Küche war minimalistisch notdürftig mit Geschirr bestückt. Es gibt keine Rezeption, man checkt komplett per Code ein- dadurch war es sehr unpersönlich.
Volkan (7/5): Genel olarak iyiydi, ama en büyük problem havlu değişimi. - İlk kez resepsiyon olmayan bir hotelde kaldım ve genel olarak çok sorun yaşamadım. Haftasonu gürültü olacağı için kulaklık vermeleri güzeldi. Balkon olması güzel. Tuvaletin kapısı cam. İçerisi gözüküyor. 5 gece kaldık, havlular hiç değiştirilmedi. Temizlikle ilgili problemler var.

Sharon (8/5): Okay if on a strict budget - It was clean and a reasonable price. Wi fi worked well. Supermarket next door so easy to get supplies needed Club next door which went all night but most noise cut out when room closed up. Bathroom door was frosted in strips however not really private.
Ingrid (9/5): Great moderate budget stay in the city center - The triple room was clean and bigger than expected, beds were comfortable. The owner is very nice and accommodating. As we were there during a heatwave it was nice to have a ceiling fan. The kitchen is very basic, according to fire regulations one is not allowed to fry anything but you can boil something or reheat food in the microwave. Subway station is just a short walk from the hotel and there are many restaurants in a walking distance from the place. We were there during the week so nightclub noise was not a problem and the street noise is typical to a big city.
PALMIERI (7/5): Plutôt positif si on ne veut pas manger dans la location. - La localisation, l accueil du réceptionniste, la propreté de l appartement, la qualité des lits La cuisine car on ne pouvait quasiment rien faire cuire. Et le frigidaire qui faisait beaucoup de bruit et d eau. Le bruit et les vibrations de la discothèque située juste à côté de la location.

William (10/5): Located in a very nice area, nice shopping around and beautiful parks. Even though there is a big club next door to prop - I loved the automated checkin. The apartment was very clean. I have zero complaints.

Jesus (1/5): Bad - The bed was comfortable. Despite all the reviews complaining about the nightclub downstairs, we decided to book two nights here. They were right. We were on the 4th floor and we could still hear the music all night long (we left the apartment at 10:00 am and the music was still loud). It was definitely too noisy to sleep well. Also, the water in the shower/sink was not running at some times during the day, the soap/shower gel in the apartment was empty, and the kitchen barely had any cooking tools, so cooking in the apartment was not an option. Very disappointing stay for a 200€ per night apartment.

More kitchen equipment would be nice, so that you’re not constantly having to wash up again when you want to eat/drink something. Very minor though, and nothing else comes to mind.
