Ailsa (6/5): - Nice old manor. Small room. Almost no sound proofing so very loud when other guests were enjoying the inhouse dining. Fortunately they finished at about 8:45pm.

Turns out, the hot tub hasnt worked in years. If they took that off the website that would be helpful for those who really were looking forward to a soak after running dog agility all day. I will definitely stay here again, cozy room, space for the dog to run and sniff, but i wont pack a bathing suit next trip 😅
carol (10/5): - My husband and I have gotten a little tired of the chain hotels so we try to stay in places like this when we can it’s small size made for a much more comfortable stay and we will definitely be looking at it when we get back out to that part of the country
Michael (8/5): - This a small and somewhat remote property in a charming old building and is a pleasant, quiet place to stay. A single employee appeared to be running the place, and was not present on arrival, but the place was nevertheless in good shape and clean, and the breakfast was good.

philip (6/5): - Communication with owner was poor - no response to messages. Meals not available despite asking about this. Hotel had a lot of potential but owner clearly not got his heart in the property - don’t believe the website which talks about a chef who apparently left many years ago. Place is up for sale which says it all. Bed was very uncomfortable and shower ran out of hot water. All of this was rescued a little by a very good hotel manager who tried hard to put things right and cooked an excellent breakfast.

Kim (8/5): - The house was stunning and very clean. Although we got eaten alive by the bugs outside it was in a nice surrounding area. The only issue we had with staff was that after breakfast we were told that we hadn't paid which we thought we had so when we were handed the debit machine we meant to only tip on the breakfast but ended up tipping on the whole amount which cost a lot more than we wanted to.

TriTravellers (2/5): - Went to treat ourselves, arrived to be attacked by mosquitos as we tried to find the entrance to the Inn. Waited for a few minutes, ringing the bell to get someones attention as we were still trying to get all the bugs off. Walked up to our room, and the heat hit us as we walked up the stairs. We asked about the hot tub and canoeing - both reasons for choosing this spot. Hot tub was an additional $10.00 on already overpriced room tide and tide was down so we were unable to use canoes (tide would not be back up until 11pm). No supper option. We asked to cancel but the man would not even listen to our concerns. We decided to leave rather than stay in an uncomfortable situation and one that was truly disappointing. Had wished we book Super 8 in Amherst like we did the year before!

The coffee machine in the room was broken, so I asked if we could have a cup of coffee, she looked like I had asked for the Island treasure. I had to ask again and when she finally gave us the coffee, we had to drink right where we were. I asked if I could take the cup to our room, she said no. We had to drink right there. Incredible.

JLB (6/5): Quiet - well away from everything - We arrived late so did not get the full experience of the Inn. We had already made arrangements to connect with friends for breakfast so did not use the onsite restaurant. I think this is more a place for a couples weekend away than a family overnight.

They switched us to a bigger room with no time at all. Room was clean and tidy. The setting inside the room made us feel like at home. Sit down quality English breakfast with order in advance was wonderful. All the staffs were friendly and helpful. For sure will go back to stay if we go to P.E.I. again.
Rick (10/5): Unique Lodging - We enjoyed our stayed in Log Point Building, Large king Room a short walk from the Little Shemouge Inn where we had very good dinner and breakfast. We wouldnt have changed anything except the table we had breakfast as it was very awkward eating from the low bucket chairs.
Raymond (8/5): Charming guest house! - Beautiful setting - but the mosquitoes kept us indoors. Better than nicely appointed spaces - gorgeous! The decorating throughout was really charming. Breakfast, not included in the room price, was absolutely PERFECT! Wonderful time there and would recommend to everyone!

Toby (10/5): Super experience! - These people have incredible style: An absolutely beautiful, separate, house for guests decorated in eclectic, sophisticated European-American style. Every detail is perfect. Super comfort. Water views from the living room, where you can pull up chairs in front of a huge wall of windows and drink wine while the sunset displays itself before you. What is this magnificent place doing in a tiny town in Nova Scotia? I don't know. I'm just glad we had an opportunity to enjoy it. (And a full, lovely breakfast as well!)
Shelly (10/5): A Gem Along the Coast in New Brunswick! - Excellent retreat in New Brunswick. Janine and Marko are excellent hosts. Janine provided us with ideas on things to do in the area (including Lobster Festival in Shediac and dining suggestions). The room (we stayed in one of the suites in Log Point annex) was beautiful, clean, and with a great view of the ocean! The grounds were very peaceful! Breakfast at the Inn was excellent - fruit salad, selection of breads/jams/marmalades/honey, cheese, eggs, toast, coffee/tea...all served in there beautiful sunroom in the main house. I would definitely stay there again!
