Excellent breakfast and good varied food in the restaurant in the evening. Nice pool area and bar. However what made this hotel special was the exceptional staff. They were so attentive,polite informative and friendly.I would highly recommended this hotel for a stay in Lusaka. Nothing

- Thandi Keneilwe (6/5): My stay was okay with a lot of dissapointments from the hotel - Western Paramount was okay. When I arrived staff were welcoming at the reception. I did not go for breakfast first morning but I did second day, staff were exceptional at the kitchen on this day and breakfast was great My disappointments though are as follows: I needed an iron every day of my stay but not once have a received the iron and ironing board within an hour. Even when i book it earlier it would take up to 2 hrs to arrive. The other time I had to wear an alternative outfit simply because I couldnt get an iron on time, I then asked for assistance from the laundry to iron my clothes they did not arrive on time. The other day they brought me a broken ironing board, i reported it, and when they came to exchange it was still another broken ironing board. I then asked the laundry lady to help iron my blue blazer because the iron was not working well either, she burnt my blazer and did not inform me. I only noticed later on On Saturday we went to the mall and came back to the hotel, later on decided to go sit by the pool for like an hour, when returning back to the room tired because I needed to rest I found our room wide open with maintenance guy fixing the door, which I did not know had a problem. I wish the reception could have notified us on this as it disturbed my desire to rest at that time Our flight was Sunday morning, On Saturday evening I called the reception to tell them I am to leave early morning at 0630am to the airport. I asked if they offer takeaway at the kitchen and she said yes they do. To my surprise when I got there at past 6 we cannot get a takeaway after 6am. This was sad because I had called to confirm; I had to go to the airport hungry I was sharing a twin bed with a friend. Her bed made lots of noise the whole night as she was turning. I hope the hotel will change thar bed. The hotel is closer to the road, the noise from the cars was very disturbing, but this one was beyond their control When leaving with a Yango, we waited 5 good minutes for a security guard who looked so unbothered as he was busy focusing on his phone. We tried to shout and hoot, he couldn't hear us because he had earphones on That was my experience with Best Western Plus

I was solo travelling as a female and security is always a major concern. The man I met at the reception (I didn’t get his name, Esther (a receptionist) and Enoch (a restaurant assistant, I believe) made my stay so pleasant. The location was also fantastic. It’s central. The food was good! The room was cozy! It’s fantastic for the price!! Lovely! It’s African themed interior , which is also very cool Everything was perfect but pls add a full mirror especially for female guests 😀 My room didn’t have that.

His professionalism and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I would also like to sincerely thank Ester at reception for her kindness and efficiency she made every interaction smooth and pleasant. John at the bar was fantastic, always friendly and attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant staff were amazing, providing excellent service and creating a great dining experience every time. The pool deck team also deserves recognition for maintaining such a relaxing and well-managed environment. Every single team member I encountered contributed to making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again!

Breakfast is something..no one should miss in BW lusaka ;-) Dinner menu was short of starters and veg options, rest everything was fine. We had Chana masala, It was delicious...I even had quick words with chef for the same.

- Norman (7/5): It’s ok, but the quality of service has diminished. - The location and cleanliness of the hotel. Very classic! Staff at front desk didn’t know which rooms were available. It took three tries to get us a clean, ready room for occupancy. Even after a delay check in they would would permit us to extend our check out.

- Mary (10/5): Exceptional 5-star hotel team service led by an exceptional, hands-on, Hotel Managing Director! - My family and I had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel, a real definition of 'home away from home' and a rare GEM in the heart of Lusaka. Staff, including the Hotel Managing Director himself, were incredibly attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. Compared to most hotels in Europe, breakfast at this hotel is a truly five-star, unforgettable experience and was the highlight of our stay. The buffet offered an incredible, high-quality selection ranging from freshly baked cakes to made-to-order eggs, fresh juices, and a hot food selection that felt more like a brunch service than a standard breakfast. Service was attentive, with staff clearing plates instantly and offering professional, friendly service. The entire hotel and rooms were spotless clean, with comfortable bedding, electricity and water 24/7, a SPA and a gym on location.The hotel has a restaurant with highly skilled chefs and this made dining easy for us, we did not have to go outside the hotel for dinner, there is a wide range of food on the menu to select from, including authentic Indian cuisine. A truly 5-star experience that I'd recommend to anyone visiting Lusaka! Special thanks to the following members of staff for their incredible service and for making our stay a memorable one: Mr. Dogukan (Hotel Managing Director), Ruth and Ruth from Housekeeping, Dainess from the SPA, Davies from the Bar, the male Night Receptionist and the younger man at the reception starting the morning shift, Rachel, Maureen, Mirriam, Faidess and Enala from the Restaurant, not forgetting Mary from Security and the other two male Security Officers. We can't wait to see you again. Har det bra! We loved everything, simply amazing!

- ENOCH AMASA (8/5): Overall it was a good place to stay - Neat and spacious rooms. The washroom was neat and clean. The location was good and provided easy access to nearby facilities and malls. Staff were friendly and provided assistance when needed. The Wi-Fi was not stable and was continuously breaking.
