Beautiful design, warm staff, and an authentic atmosphere that made it one of our favourite stays of the trip. The food could be better — it didn't quite match the quality of the rest of the experience.

Kambariai įrengti tradiciniu stiliumi, vidiniame kieme yra nedidelis baseinas. Restorane tiekiami skanūs pusryčiai, o taip pat čia valgėme ir vakarienę. Ypatingai smagu užlipti į viršutines terasas, iš kurių matosi kalnų vaizdai, saulėtekis ir saulėlydis. Rekomenduoju šį viešbutį nakvynei, o ryte bus ptogu apžiūrėti Ait Ben Hadou kompleksą.

• Julian (7/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt ca. 10 Autominuten von Ait-Ben Haddou entfernt. Dort ist sonst eigentlich nichts. Wir sind etwas später angereist bzw. ist der Check-in scheinbar nur bis 9 oder 10 möglich. Die Unterkunft war eine der teureren auf unserer Rundreise. Die Erwartungen hat sie damit nicht ganz erfüllt. Die Küche am Abend war schon fast kalt, und die Tajine hat leider absolut nach nichts geschmeckt. Der kleine Pool war am Vormittag geschlossen und das Personal hat sich nicht unbedingt überschlagen in Hilfsbereitschaft. Grundsätzlich kein Thema, aber da doch eine der vermeintlich "besseren" Unterkünfte etwas enttäuschend.

La propreté des chambres est limite dans notre sdb il y avait une odeur de moisi qui donnait vraiment pas envie de prendre de douche Nous avons fait d autres Riads moins cher au Maroc et beaucoup mieux ! Nous avons voulu faire un hamman à plusieurs c etait 200 dr par personne ! C est moins cher en France Je ne recommande pas

Een van onze duurdere verblijven in Marokko maar wel enigste waar we problemen hadden met water dat niet lang genoeg warm bleef. Het water spoot ook alle kanten op in de douche wegens gaatjes. Het eten was erg lekker maar ook aan duurdere kant.

Das Riad selbst ist beeindruckend vom Bau. Die Lage ist nah am Ait Ben Haddou (7 Minuten). Es gab kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Riad. Das Essen war ebenfalls gut. Fußläufig ist nichts zu finden. Das Frühstück war gut. Es wurde auf Wunsch noch Essen nachgebracht.

Simply loved the location, quiet and in a berber village with a fortress nearby! Very close to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO Heritage site and Ouarzazate. The room was large, beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds.

Which is nice to avoid the crowds. -the rooms do not have isolation in any kind. You will hear everything your neighbors do. And everything that happens outside. • Ylva (9/5): - Mycket fint! Underbar personal! Mycket bra middag och frukost. Vackra omgivningar. Underbara rum och bekväma sängar. En mycket positiv upplevelse! Det enda negativa var ett besök i den närliggande souvenir-affären. Två i vår lilla grupp på 8 personer var marockanska berber. De var inte välkomna in i affären med oss andra och blev utkörda därifrån! Vi lämnade förstås genast butiken utan att köpa något. Då påstod ägaren att våra vänner ljög men allt var mycket klart och tydligt rasistiskt. Ett mycket obehagligt slut på en i övrigt väldigt fin upplevelse av platsen, hotellet och restaurangen.

• Emma (10/5): Un posto da sogno - La struttura è davvero bellissima, una tipica Kasbah curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Si trova a soli 5 minuti di distanza in auto da Ait-Ben-Haddou. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, la camera era ben arredata, pulita, ampia e spaziosa, oltre ad essere molto silenziosa. Abbiamo anche usufruito del servizio di ristorazione e devo dire che la cena è stata ottima, così come la colazione davvero abbondante.

Guter Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung des Aït-Ben-Haddou. Enge und nicht sofort erkennbare Zufahrt. Live Musik im Innenhof direkt unter unserem Fenster gut hörbar im Zimmer (zum Glück nicht allzu lange).
• CLAUDIA OPDENKELDER (10/5): Gorgeous place!! - What a gorgeous space!! We loved everything about it. The room was massive, and we had two floors!! The beautiful decor, huge balcony terrace, perfect lighting in every space, very comfy beds, stunning view from the balcony, amazing accommodating staff... I had a much needed 1 hr massage at the location as well which was so good. The dinner was DELICIOUS, loved every bite. Location was good, we had a long drive and long day so just wanted to stay put, it was great for that. Absolutely silent at night, amazing sleep. WiFi worked flawlessly. Oh and we even got a beautiful sunset view!! Only one thing, the water pressure was very low in the shower, I couldn't really get it to work very well, but, honestly it was not make or break. Everything else was so good, I didn't even give it a second thought.

• Corinna (9/5): Good for a one night stop close to Ait Ben Haddou - The room was fantastic. It was newly furnished and had modern interior. Location is outside of the town of Ait Ben Haddou and the main tourist attractions but is just a short drive away. The Kasbah next to the hotel can be visited and is stunning. Dinner was overpriced and already cold despite us arriving earlier than the agreed time.

There’s also the option to enjoy a hammam and/or massage—I tried a 30-minute massage, and it was wonderful. Our room was beautiful with a stunning balcony view, and the food was both delicious and plentiful. Overall, everything was just perfect! The location is ideal for visiting Aït Ben Haddou and soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Finding the place at first can be a little tricky, but once you arrive, you’ll discover yourself right in the heart of a charming little town.
• Willem (10/5): Een pareltje waar je je meteen thuis voelt - Nooit gedacht dat er zich in dit kleine dorpje zo’n prachtige kasbah zou verbergen. Van zodra je binnenkomt: wauw! Alles is met enorm veel smaak ingericht, modern maar tegelijk sfeervol traditioneel. De kamers zijn ontzettend mooi. Het zwembadje en de rust maken het helemaal af. De ontvangst was supervriendelijk, we hebben er heerlijk gegeten en genoten van de gastvrijheid. Alles gebeurt met de glimlach. Een absolute aanrader! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

• Angelica (9/5): A kasbah to enjoy, comfortably refurbished for a relaxing stay - This kasbah is conveniently close to Ait Ben Haddou if you go there by car, offer a really nice pool and cozy rooms. The food is very good; we particularly liked the bereber omelette and the awesome breakfast served by smiling and kind people. To treat yourself while at the same time enjoying a fantastic, historic endroite. Tip: do not miss the antiques shop run by Mohammed right in front of the hotel

• Fatima (10/5): Relaxed, warm and friendly - excellent stay! - The staff is what really makes this place - We will miss them! The Kasbah is located in a typical village, beautifully decorated throughout, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds with a great restaurant onsite with freshly prepared Moroccan dishes which we ate at for lunch and dinner - the food was fantastic. Great breakfast with a selection of homemade breads, pancakes jams, honey, yogurt and freshly squeezed orange juice. There is a small pool with a few sunbeds. A lovely, unpretentious place to completely unwind and relax for a few days. Good value for money and we loved it! The village doesn't have any amenities - only a little shop that had random opening hours so do stock up before you arrive. You will need a car or rely on the good taxi service of the hotel which is what we did. Also book activities before you arrive as there is not much information at the hotel. We booked the fantastic Quad Sky Tours for quad biking and a day trip with a local guy based at the Riad next door. Do your research before you come.

• Claudia (10/5): Lovely spot, friendly staff and away from the crowds. - Very friendly and kind staff, who made us really welcome. Lovely courtyard and big rooms with plenty of space. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious too. Rooms are large and stylishly decorated. Arrive early and explore the ruined Kasbah which is only 100m away. Well worth the 15dhm entry fee. After we left we realised we’d left pair of glasses behind and they kindly arranged for them to be drop off in Ait Benhaddou. This was a big help. All in all I’d really recommend this quiet and pretty spot away from the crowds of Ait Benhaddou. The massage was nice, but I wanted more of a sports massage. It just didn’t quite hit the spot for me. But I think if you wanted a relaxing massage it would be lovely.
• Natalia (9/5): Certainly a recommendation! - We booked the room for 2 nights including the New Year’s Eve and after a long day of travel had a very warm welcome and a cozy dinner accompanied by local musicians. Just next to the Kasbah is a huge historic ruin of a Kasbah of El Glaoui and an oasis, which makes the experience of staying there even more powerful.

• Carolyn (10/5): Lovely experience beyond our expectations. - Perfectly located for Ben Haddou and exploring the Atlas Mountains (if you have a car). The staff in particular were excellent - generous and kind and very helpful. The room was very comfortable. Food was excellent - both dinner and breakfast. Very fresh, tasty and local flavours. You choose your menu when you arrive so the food can be freshly prepared. We also enjoyed a massage in the guest house as an unexpected treat. Cannot recommend this gem of a place enough. It was chilly in December when we visited but bring warm clothes so you can stargaze from the roof terraces and explore the surrounding village. Villagers were very kind and for a small amount of money showed us the ruined fortress and orchards and riverside far from the crush of tourists elsewhere. Worth getting up before dawn to see Ben Haddou as the sun rises. We took the road through Telouet on our way back to Marrakesh and it was fascinating and beautiful. Nothing - just bring warm clothes in winter. You can use the Air Conditioning in the room as a heater.

• Tencovici (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The staff is extremely kind and very helpful. The location also has a beautiful terrace. At the restaurant we could order alcoholic drinks. The breakfast was good. The hotel also has a spa, but unfortunately due to the fact that we did not have much time, we could not enjoy it.

Lunch at little cafe next door with Abdul the best we’ve had in Morocco! The plumbing a little dodgy, and the swimming pool tiny and rather deceptive in photographs.

• Marigold (10/5): Absolutely incredible stay, made special by the staff and amazing decor - We were first greeted by the amazing staff who asked us when we would like our dinner made and then showed us to our room. The room was beautifully designed and we had a private balcony area with an amazing view, it was incredible! Dinner was amazing and they asked when we’d like our breakfast made for the next morning. They set up the table just for our group every time and the food was amazing! This place is perfect and the staff made our time very special. The room didn’t get very cool at night, but it was 100 degree weather.
