The room was adequate for a place to sleep but this is not a 5 star hotel with all the latest amenities. Old fashioned key system, small elevator, poor wifi-system, and antiquated bed were the bad notes. Awesome location, safe thanks to staff, great staff people, great housekeeping crew, and just a good place for the money you pay. If this hotel would do a renovation, it would be 5 stars.

• Mark (8/5): Clean, comfortable, great location (but not quiet) - Clean and comfortable in great location (but not quiet). Single male stayed for seven nights in a deluxe room. Room was spacious (huge), clean and comfortable with everything I needed, plus the bed was comfortable and I slept well every night. Only negatives were the quality of furnishings in the room and quality of bathroom fittings: some things appearing cheap and fragile. Plus there is a housekeeping station on each floor with a telephone (unattended) and it rang constantly every morning as front desk wanted to communicate with housekeeping: in 2023 there has to be a better way!!! Walking Street is nearby, but is so overrated and one visit was enough…fortunately lots of other entertainment and dining options are within a reasonable walking distance…but if you are lazy, just catch the 10 baht bus.

Hotellissa hyvä allas, hyvät huone, ruoka ja pesula palvelut yms. Siisteys ok. Rauhallinen ja hiljainen. Ilmastointilaitteet vanhoja ja vähän meluisia. TV urheilu kanavien valikko suppea.

• MASAHIRO (4/5): - クーラー効かないから毎晩寝汗をかく。バスタブから水が外に出ても排水しない。フロントのスタッフは無愛想でこちらが気を使う。朝食は毎回同じメニュー。立地条件やプールなど申し分ないから…勿体ないです。

Bodde här medan jag var på jobb och det fungerade väldigt bra, Internetuppkopplingen godkänd. Antagligen inget hotell dit du tar med familjen till med tanke på vilket område det ligger i.
• Tony (4/5): - The room was clean and nice. The main problems I had with the venue was the poor WiFi. I had to get a different WiFi password for each device, instead of being able to use multiple devices on the one password. Also, the WiFi disconnected every hour and I had to reconnect. Also, the elevator goes to the ground floor, but only with access being allowed by the front desk, so guests have to walk up and down the main stairs every time they enter or leave the venue.

• Bobby (2/5): - This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at in Pattaya. Bathroom needs updating; flakes were peeling off the tub every time I took a shower and no hot water unless you wait 10 minutes and only keep it on “hot”. The A/C was actually the only good thing in my room. No safe in the room, no coffee maker, they do give water everyday. For the price I paid this hotel should invest in giving guests a toothbrush too. They aren’t that expensive and I actually needed one. So I had to go get my own. And don’t get me started on that rooftop pool. Sounds amazing right? Wrong! Yea it’s Amazing for the first two minutes you take a couple of pics but then you realize the pool is not taken care of and dirty plus it was ice cold for some reason when I was there. Plus they had a little setup for a rooftop bar that look deserted for years; it almost looked like I was on the set of the “walking dead”! They had old books for people to read up there but who reads anymore? Get that bar fixed and get some music playing up there. The rooftop pool scene was deserted and dead just like the lobby every time I walked out. Plus those stupid stairs you have to take up and down instead of just walking into a ground level lobby. Last but not least get prepared to pay a guest/joiner fee of 500 baht per day/visit or 300 baht. Not sure which one of them they charge because I heard discrepancies on both. The sign says 500 baht but I heard a guy pay 300 baht so who knows how much it is really? Hotel is trash.

I didn’t like that my room phone didn’t work and I didn’t like that my light in the bathroom went out. Makes for showering and using the bathroom difficult.

• Lawrence (8/5): Great value - I always stay at Mike Hotel. The location is great. It is close to everything. It is obviously an older hotel but is maintained quite well. You can't beat the price for this location. It has a nice pool which is a good place to relax. I had a large room this time and it was really good. The staff is outstanding. A few negatives: it is a difficult stair climb to the lobby on the second floor, especially for a senior; there is an elevator to the ground floor but very inconvenient to access it; No coffee maker is problem when I want coffee in the morning in my pajamas; my biggest complaint is the WiFi. It is a good signal but it is open, not secure and the security on my laptop keeps shutting me out.

It is showing it's age and needs some plumbing upgrades and some paint but it is very clean and the staff is very good. The pool is good and view from the pool deck is great.I got a reduced price so that made it a worthwhile stay. The breakfast is only soso. There is no kettle or coffee in the room. Wifi was ok most of the time. I will stay here next time if I get a good rate.

• Amir (4/5): Good Location, Terrible Comfort - The stay was not good at all. The hotel is at a very good location but it is terribly dirty. Looks to be a very old hotel. Would never stay their again. Dirty unpainted rooms and bathrooms. Old ACs not giving a good look at all.
• David (4/5): I regret staying at Mike hotel - Rooms are tired and basic. Bed sheets and shower curtain were stained and I didn't dare to use the bath tub. Mobs of people kept running down the lobbies and yelling and screaming and fighting with their guest ladies all over the night. Would definitely never stay here again.

• Ian (4/5): Disappointed - Flat screen TV needed re-turning when I arrived. Picture was never good. Notice in reception said WI FI was slow. I don't think it ever worked the 8 days I was there. One had to turn the hot water in the shower on 5 to 10 minuets before showering - & then was just warm. Only 2 or 3 hot showers in 8 days. Was told it was because so many showered at the same time ! Not the high season - hotel almost empty.
• Ally (8/5): Affordable Hotel close to all the Action. - Spent 14 days here. The Room was clean and tidy. The A/C. Was nice and cool. The TV Reception was poor. The Staff were exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. They have a safe for your valuables. Has a great Coffee Shop on the ground floor. There are plenty of markets, shops, restaurants and Bars in close proximity. Felt safe here. Will come here again.

There's am awesome view of the bay and beach from the pool balcony. The bathroom in the room showed it's age, but all in all the place was worth the money. The breakfast was really good as well!

If you'r not a smoker you will be, because the smell from smoke will follow you many days after you leave the hotel. Only positiv to say is that it is very cheep!

• Joseph (6/5): Cheap hotel close to walking street - The place is very noisy. The hotel is on the second Floor and up. They lock the elevator to the first floor and we need to walk several steps. This is because the hotel lobby is on the second floor and they want to monitor who are the people going to the room. The toilet never flush properly. The bed is not comfortable. Not recommended for family.

• champee_59 (8/5): Close beach and warking street - The room is quiet and clean. And staff is working property. The lobby is located the 2nd floor. 1st floor is under construction. The disadvantage is week water pressure in shower and toilet.
• Ian (10/5): Three Weeks at Mike Hotel - Very friendly and efficient reception staff,very friendly and co-operative hotel staff.Deluxe room was roomy,good bed,sofa,desk and chair.Bath,shower and handbasin modern & adequate.Aircon was new & more than adequate.Pool & gym.Hotel has a restaurant but I did not eat there.Wifi in room a bit patchy but generally OK.Daily newspapers available.What really impressed me with this hotel was the fantastically efficient laundry service.Even if you took your laundry to reception as late as midday it would be washed,& folded & back in your room by 4pm.Will definetly stay there again.Had no problems at all.10 out of 10.

Pool area again basic with a few sunbeds, but very quiet. The hotel sits above a shopping mall, which is being redeveloped at the present time, so there is some noise and disruption ...Overall a good hotel, would stay again..
