• Inès (8/5): Pleasant stay - Beautiful and comfortable room. Staff is nice. Room was clean. No safe in the room and no proper storage or dresser for the luggage/clothes and personal items. Makes it hard to keep the room tidy. The windows aren’t well sound proofed and you can thus hear the planes a lot and animals waking up at dawn.

• brooke (9/5): Good way to get over jet lag and start in Chang Mai - Hotel Yayee was located in an accessible but quiet location, its on the outskirts of the Chang Man, but I liked that it offered a different location. The room was fine, had a mattress on the ground that was pretty comfortable. The location was super walkable to the local mall and to some other more local clothing shops. Additionally when I got to town my cab would only allow me to pay in cash (which hadn't converted yet) and the woman at the front desk was able to cover me and allowed me to pay her back later. There was music playing in the lobby I could hear from my room at 9pm, if I wasn't so jet lagged I wouldn't have minded as much, but something to consider if noise carries in your hotel!

• Adi (10/5): Wonderful. Would stay again next time we visit - The place is beautiful, has a nice rooftop bar with great beer and food. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. But the absolute best were the staff- everyone is so kind, and tried to do everything to accommodate us and make us feel at home. They booked all the tourist attractions for us, we just had to arrive on time and enjoy. The location is also great. Great restaurant nearby and great massage right in front. Atm is also very close. Idk i guess nothing!

Ottimo il rooftop per aperitivo A parte un ottimo membro dello staff, gentile e collaborativo, lo staff parla pochissimo inglese, direi quasi niente, e non è in grado di aiutare, nemmeno a prenotare un taxi. Colazione su prenotazione ma con orari limitatissimi e non semplice da prenotare. Posizione non ottimale per i turisti

It’s just a bit out of the city so had to take a taxi/grab to most places we wanted to visit. There were some places and shops we could walk to, but not to the city centre.

Probably one of the best hotels in Chiang Mai. A famous Thai artist was staying there during my stay so you know it has to be good. I loved the balcony but when you close the door, you can’t hear anything from the street. Loved it! The staff is so kind and helpful. Highly recommend! I had some ants but housekeeping took care of it immediately!

• Yui8899 (10/5): I like the location. - It's located in a very good "Nimman" area, just 10 mins walk to the community mall "One Nimman". 5 mins walk to the well-known local restuarant "TongTemToh" in Nimman 13. And there is another good restuarant next to the hotel called "Kuakai Nimman". Opposite Kuakai Nimman is a dessert shop named "Biguri", a cute Japanese donut and coffee shop that is a good priced, I really like it. And there is a rooftop bar at the hotel where you can enjoy drink in the evening and can view "Doi Suthep" mountain from the top. It takes around 15-20 mins to Chiang Mai Airport by taxi. There's limited parking lot and the noise of airplanes flying overhead, but was not too loud, and no more airplane noise after midnight.

• Robin (6/5): Yayee Maybe ? - The location was great, the hotel is stylish and roof top bar is a gem. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would rate this hotel higher is the price had matched. It's stylish but not functional. There is no room for 2 pieces of luggage as they have made bad choices for furniture. It could be a fantastic hotel with some practical improvements. You have to order breakfast the night before for 350b up the street you get fantastic breakfast for 150b. They have an army of young people sitting around looking at phones. It could be a gold mine with a bit of good management. All I can think is they are making enough profit to get buy and don't want to take advantage of the unique structure and location of the hotel.

Room had a mountain view - just what I'd imagined when travelling in Chiang Mai. Also loved the rooftop bar - an even better mountain view and fun vibe. Room was cosy, as described, but perfect for a solo traveller. Had to give a key deposit, which I didn't have to do anywhere else in Thailand. Just one of their policies you should be aware of.

I took off a star because the dining options were confusing - in order to have breakfast at the hotel you have to book it in advance the day before. But luckily the area around is very walkable so I found dining options elsewhere
• Bipana (8/5): Pleasant stay. Lovely rooftop restaurant. - Lovely terrace restaurant. Good Thai food and drink options. Even if you’re not staying in the hotel, could recommend for an evening meal. Staff were prompt in addressing issues. Located on a quiet street. We had a room with a balcony, which was barely 1 m sq, with pipes and things running. Technically, it was a Balcony, but we couldn’t really enjoy it. There was a nail sticking out from the wooden floor which couldn’t hurt someone easily. The hair dryer wasn’t quite working. The staff immediately replaced it with another one. The water bottles are too small and wasteful. Might be good to either give bigger bottles or have refill stations. General maintenance and upkeep could be better. Proximity to the airport means occasional low flying aircrafts, gets noisy.

• Ravipa (5/5): horrible experience and will never come back here with the staff being so incompetent - Everything except the reception staff! The reception who registered me. I paid for the room for 2 nights. On the way to the room, she informed my that the room charges did not include breakfast. I then asked her to include breakfast offered to pay for the extra. As I came down, she informed me that no need to pay extra as breakfast would be complimentary. The first morning was fine. I received my breakfast. The second morning was horrible. No breakfast was prepared. The housekeeper informed me there was no information about my getting breakfast as my room did not include that. Who on earth would think that complimentary breakfast was for one day out of two??? The hotel expect guests to go find it themselves even though I was willing to pay for but refused stating it is complimentary!!! Horrible!

• Chanok (6/5): - ครั้งนี้พักหลายคืนแต่แจ๊กพอตได้ห้องชั้น 4(ใต้บาร์ชั้น5) ติดและผนังติดโรงแรมอื่น ทำให้เจอกับเสียงดังในช่วงกลางคืน ประมาณ 3ทุ่ม ถึง เที่ยงคืน - เสียงลากเก้าอี้ โต๊ะ รวมถึงเสียงสนทนาจากห้องข้างๆที่เราจะได้ยินผ่านทางห้องน้ำ เรื่องเสียงยังเป็นสิ่งที่หลีด้ลี่ยงไม่ได้ เสียงจากตู้เย็นตัวจิ๋วก็ดังไม่น้อย ส่วนความสะอาด อยากให้ปรับปรุงมากขึ้น พรมที่ปูพื้นค่อนข้างดำ แลสกปรก เก้าอี้มีคราบเลอะ แต่อย่างไรแล้วอาหารเช้าของที่นี่ ก็ทำให้คุณสดชื่น อร่อยแน่นอน
