- Michael (10/5): Wonderful character filled experience. - Loved the location, loved that it was so full of character, found everything convenient and easy to use, fast internet. I stay in a lot of hotels and you never remember the anodyne chain hotels, it was a place you laid your head for a night and was convenient. Then there are hotels you remember the rest of your life, Inn at Lincoln was one of those. The keypad system became a little tiresome but wasn’t a game changer.
- Flosse (10/5): -
- Maureen (1/5): I wouldn’t recommend. - The garden It wasn’t clean, the foot board on my bed was barely attached and leaning outwards. The place was old and dark and did not look as well as the photos. We checked in and within an hour began looking for other accommodation which was difficult because most places were full. After 10 inquiries we found an opening. I am requesting a complete refund. The manager was contacted about the issue before our departure.
- Christopher (8/5): Excellent, staying at the square was perfect. There was so much to see and experience within walking distance. We had - Location was perfect, rooms comfortable. Well maintained, very clean-would stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone Parking was an issue, there are only 3 spots close to the suite. We had to park in the parking garage Saturday night, not terribly inconvenient but for checking in or out it would be. Each suite should receive a dedicated spot next to the building and any additional vehicles park in the garage
- Joanne (10/5): - Everything about this charming place was great! So cozy. Beautiful historic home. The owners take pride in providing a wonderful stay. Very communicative and responsive.
- Piotr (10/5): -
- Teresa (9/5): Quick over night stay in a beautiful well equipped room in the perfect location. - Ideal location if you want to park your car for the weekend and walk. Beautiful room, reasonably priced, and perfect for quiet relaxation. N/A
- Charles (10/5): This house has a fascinating history dating back 200+ years. Them manage to provide all the modern comforts while mainta - Historic and perfect location Liked everything
- 248AngelaB (10/5): We will definitely come back - What a beautiful Inn. Conveniently located right on the Central Square in town. Inn keepers were immediately available by text. Our suite was nicely appointed, including a kitchenette and the bedding was comfortable. We will definitely be back!
- Anna (10/5): We loved the location and the space at the Inn at Lincoln Square! Perfect for our family of four to explore for three da - Great location, lots of space, comfortable beds Nothing!
- Amy (9/5): Met our expectations and more! - I loved that it was right in the square, it’s only March so it wasn’t too loud, even slept with windows open. Beautiful place, there were 6 of us and not a single complaint, everything we needed was there. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Not a thing
- jason (10/5): - Loved the location. Also, really liked the look and layout of our room. Parking situation could be better. But we managed.
- Christopher (8/5): Quick but comfortable - The room was clean, but could have been spotless. Also, there was a leak in the roof that dripped on a kitchen chair. Unfortunately my wife sat in said chair. No worries though - we all have to expect these things with historic buildings
- Dawn E (10/5): Lovely place - Lovely, clean townhouse. Great central location and very quiet.
- danarchist (8/5): Valentines getaway - Came here for a late Valentine’s Day getaway. People need to remember that these are old houses that make noises and that the square of town is right outside the windows. With that being said, we expected that so our stay was really good. There were some minor cleaning issues, but the beds were comfortable. The fireplace was awesome and the location was hard to beat with everything that is around it.
- Brian (2/5): Gassy experience... - Location was great. Size was good. Very uncomfortable bed. Small shower. Gas leak made us have to leave a day early. Owners promised a full refund...Hopefully they keep their word.
- Candy & Freddie (10/5): Wonderful stay - We stayed in the Irene Dunner room. Robin the house keeper greeted us upon arrival. She is a gem, friendly and welcoming, the start of a wonderful stay. Beautilly historic, very clean and an amazing bed. The gas fireplace kept the suite cozy and warm. Location right on the square made it an easy walk throughout the town. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my husband's birthday. He loved it so much, we are planning to make it an annual event. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

- Eric (8/5): ENJOYED OUR STAY - LOCATION OF THE INN IS THE BEST. NO ONE TO TALK TO CHECKING IN OR OUT OR IF THERE WOULD BE ANY PROBLEMS
- Tricia (8/5): Very good experience - Didn't know there was breakfast Lighting could have been better. We crochet. It was very dark in the room. A lot of the time we sat outside the Inn. We like to people watch!!
- Sarah (10/5): We had a wonderful relaxing weekend and this place was our base for comfort - The location was prime I liked everything about it!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Comfortable historical rooms close to activites - Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Steps from all the exciting activities of Lincoln Square. Coveted parking space included!
- Andrew (10/5): Nice and comfortable place, but parking can be improved - The home was very nice and clean. Everything was comfortable. Proximity to the square and walking to stores and restaurants was really nice. The parking. The available spots at the property were already taken. We parked in the designated spot in the parking garage, with the permit on the dash and still got a parking ticket.
- Marilyn (3/5): We left after 1 night due to unsafe stairs - Location Unsafe stairs, lack of railings upstairs, double high riser near bathroom, very low ceilings upstairs, peeling paint, slow draining sink in bathroom, poorly equipped kitchen
I am 4'10 and could touch the ceiling!
- John (9/5): -
- Robert (10/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): The end at Lincoln Square is perfectly located in the historic center of Gettysburg, is charming, quiet, clean and, most - The Inn is ideally located in the center of historic Gettysburg, right on the square where Lincoln slept before he delivered the Gettysburg address the next day. Reserved guest parking is easily accessible and, even when noise outside is quite loud, our attic room at the Inn was quiet. That space is suitable for an extended stay, because it has a stove, refrigerator and all of the necessary pots and utensils. There are butterfly stamps here and there on the floor, perhaps put there by the owners’ children years ago, and a little utility door in the bathroom, just under the eve, decorated as if it were the entrance to a fairy’s house.. The family inside is busy, because there is a little tag on the door handle that says “do not disturb.” It is all interesting, convenient and fun. Charming. The air conditioning worked fine and kept us comfortable even though the temperature outside was hot. I would’ve expected that to be a negative, but it was not at all. In short, my wife and I were delighted to be there and can’t think of any faults.
- Vicky (9/5): Loved it! - Was there a breakfast?!? The location was superb and the communication with the staff timely and informative. I will stay there again. Our room (suite!) was spacious, quaint, comfortable and inviting. Would have enjoyed a few more kitchen utensils and a sharp knife.
- Melissa-Ann (10/5): We'll be back. -
- jamesbX1315CL (10/5): Perfect room in the perfect spot - It’s in the perfect location in town. I stayed in the third floor suite, It’s a beautiful and cozy room. The owners and staff were wonderful.
- lisafJ6330UH (10/5): Gettysburg For Christmas 2025 - Our stay at the Sarah Danner Suite was great! It provided a large, fully equipped kitchen and living room on the first floor and three comfortable and cozy bedrooms on the second floor. Every room was clean and decorated for Christmas, but not overdone, making the atmosphere very homey. The location was perfect for us as we wanted something centrally located so that we could tour the battlefields without having to travel too far. Another positive is that we had a dedicated parking spot. I will definitely stay at The Inn At Lincoln Square in the future.
- Mary Ann (7/5): Looked the building and had a very relaxing time - Location and comfort of the bed and being able to cook our own meal Fireplace kept going off and no hot water in the shower
- Georgette (10/5): -
- terrys141 (10/5): Christmas at the Inn on Lincoln Square Gettysburg - Central location on the square. So beautiful at Christmas time. Our suite was downstairs. Very spacious and decorated for Christmas. Large 4 poster bed. Tremendous value in a town which is usually very busy. Although on the square you would not know it sound wise. It was very quiet in the room. Communication with owner and staff was wonderful. Highly recommend Inn at Lincoln Square.
- Rachel (10/5): Charming, cozy getaway with plenty of room and great location - Very cozy and comfortable
Was everything we needed
Perfect location
- Kristen (10/5): Our stay was enjoyable as always! - It’s quaint and convenient.

- Deborah (7/5): Great location and price for a quick stay. - Location and size. Small Christmas tree was a nice touch. The townhouse could have been cleaner
- Jenni (8/5): -
- Rex (9/5): An absolutely lovely historical place to stay in the centre of Gettsburg. Highly recommended! - An absolutely wonderful place to stay right in the centre of Gettysburg! The room was magnificent and everything we required was right outside the door. The codes for the three entrance points provided some challenges, especially the code for the room but a phone call sorted that out.
- Kristy (10/5): -
- W2825KKrandyw (10/5): Excellent family Thanksgiving getaway - We stayed here for Thanksgiving week and everything was great and convenient. The location is fantastic as you are in walking distance to everything and the battlefield is a short drive away. Easy check in, and cozy place decorated for the holidays made for a nice little get away. Excellent communication from owners.
- jenniferbY3724AP (10/5): Fabulous Anniversary getaway - My husband and I enjoyed our November stay. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was a plus to have. The sitting room was so comfortable with overstuffed furniture and fireplace. Staying at The Inn was convenient with so many options to explore within walking distance. Highly recommend.
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Jim (10/5): First time visiter. - Had a great stay.
Staff was a very hard worker and a great help. Didn't get to see a Ghost. But little door was closed when we went to bed and open in the morning.
- Yogadragon (10/5): A step back in time - Customer Service: 10
Location: 10
Ambience: 10
Comfort: 10
Amenities/Cleanliness: 10
We truly enjoyed our stay, and everyone we met was so warm and welcoming. A few details—like the bed posts, quilt, towel bar, and some peeling paint—could use a little attention, and the curtains could be updated to match the charm of the rest of the space. :)
That said, the property has is already such a beautiful place. With a few loving updates, it could easily be elevated to a “wow” experience!
P.S. Robin is an absolute gem—so kind and helpful
- Jean (9/5): Excellent location. - Location was excellent. No soap in the bathroom, towel rack pulled away from the wall,
- Lynn (7/5): The Room was lovely but couldn’t get much sleep due to outside noise. - The room was very large and nicely decorated. It was very clean. It was conventionally located. The air conditioners were still
In the windows and cold air blew in. The crowd and traffic noise also came in through the window gaps. Bathroom was large but needs to be updated.
- Ardoin (10/5): -
- U7261RVbobr (10/5): Beautifuly comfortable with period furnishings and close to all! - We stayed in the Mary Juliet room/suite. Wonderfully comfortable furnishings and king bed w luxurious sheets,! This Inn is clean and close to City Square shops, taverns and restraunts. Our room has a complete kitchen w fresh ground coffees! Wish we had 2 or 3 more days to stay and relax in the room.
- shore (9/5): - Such a lovely place in a perfect location. Make sure you get the car park pass in the car before you park, otherwise you get a parking ticket!
- Taylor (10/5): -
- KRISTA (10/5): - The room was awesome! The housekeeping staff were as well. They were super nice and gave us great recommendations on things to do. The location was perfectly located in the middle of everything. We will definitely be back next year!
- Allison (8/5): Stayed at a really cozy place in center of Gettysburg - Centralized to all attractions in Gettysburg At times difficult to use codes for door but get it after a few times..
- Heather (10/5): - Inn is beautiful and historic. Has a kitchen, own bathroom/shower. We stayed on top floor. Highly recommend!!
- Steve (8/5): - Mold in shower and on the bathroom wall.
- Douglas (10/5): - Close to center N/a
- Doug (10/5): - Unique room in a historical building in Lincoln Square. We appreciated the ease of check in and our spacious room.
- Susan (8/5): - Location was great, right in the square with easy access to restaurants. Apartment was spacious, with huge sitting rcom in the place .Comfortable bed, lots of good lighting. Nice surprise to open the white doors of what we thought was a closet to find a full kitchen.. very secure with locks on entrance and apartment doors. Quilt and towels should be updated as they were worn. Musty smell.
- Lisa (10/5): - This inn is lovely! Totally fits the mood of Gettysburg as it is an old house. Contactless entry was a piece of cake. Owners were incredibly responsive. I would not think twice about staying here again.
- duskaw2025 (10/5): Great place to stay. - This is our 2nd year to stay here. It was clean and comfortable. A great experience. In the middle of everything. Will go back.
- ericsH9272XL (10/5): Comfortable, convenient, historic - A great location, central to everything. Neat being near the Wills House. Off-street parking was convenient. The room was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. I'm still getting used to the age of "touchless" hotels, but all the codes worked, the manager/owners were quick to respond to questions, and by day 2, I was a pro. I would recommend to others and return.
- S2910KFamym (10/5): Awesome - Great place to stay! Highly recommend! Historical and close to everything!! Went there for our anniversary and it was awesome! Clean and comfy. Also has a nice little kitchenette

- KimberlyFa (10/5): Wonderful Stay for Our First Trip to Gettysburg! - Great location, close to shopping and a variety of restaurants, all within walking distance. The room was cozy and clean. The host was excellent and accommodating! Thank you for making our first trip to Gettysburg a wonderful one!
- Rachael (10/5): - Beautiful room, great location
- Beth (10/5): -
- Beth (10/5): - We stayed in two different rooms. We stayed on the 3rd floor the first two nights and one of the townhouses the last night. The 3rd floor was amazing. The room was clean. Bed was really comfortable. The kitchen was useful and we really enjoyed it.
The townhouse was very nice. Had a very nice washer and dryer with a full kitchen. There are 3 beds upstairs. The nice big king sized bed was comfortable but being short was almost impossible to get into because it was high. Everything else was also clean and comfortable. If we ever get back here I think we would stay here again. The stairs in the town house were a little short but manageable. That was the only thing that was a little dirty and the kitchen table cloth was a little dirty but it wasn't like we had meals there or anything like that.
- Kristine (7/5): - Central location , can walk out to Gettysburg attractions. Spacious. Could have been cleaner.
- Todd (10/5): -
- Chad (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Check in was a breeze. Hosts were readily accessible and easy to communicate with. If your trip to Gettysburg includes taking in the many great businesses, restaurants, and sites the downtown has to offer, there is absolutely no better place to stay.
- Janice (10/5): - Location location location! And the historical nature of the property! Place was great.
- Ross (10/5): - The Inn at Lincoln Square is a wonderful historic property with the perfect location in the heart of Gettysburg. Lots of great restaurants and shops to visit. The ghost tours are right next door.

- Kevin (9/5): - Loved the atmosphere and the location. Little noisy at night with ghost tours starting and ending right outside our window.
- Verna (9/5): Great location and fun history . - The history and closeness of restaurants and shops . Pricey and needs a grab bar on the shower / tub.

A wonderful time.

- Ivan (7/5): - Historic house with a lot of charm Bathroom very basic. Small rooms with barely storage place.
- Laura (10/5): - Perfect location. Property felt like a step back in time. Perfect place to stay for Gettysburg enthusiasts.
- C (10/5): Excellent location! We were able to walk to restaurants, shops etc and enjoy the charm and history. - No breakfast was provided but Coffee, Tea, Creamers, etc were provided with cold water in the fridge. Charming furnishings, the bed was a bit high for short people! We managed and enjoyed our stay. Sadly some repair was necessary but we were told that finding skilled help is difficult. That is true, we have had our own issues finding people to repair things.
- marydlyons (10/5): - We were celebrating a 70th birthday with our kids and grandkids. The Inn was the icing on a fantastic trip. Great location, immaculately clean, terrific shower and comfortable beds. Everyone loved it! We had a little mixup on the reservation (no fault of the Inn) and they were very responsive and accomodating. Thanks so much for helping to make our time so special!
- Wisniewski (8/5): Very good -
- dianefR5996PI (10/5): Authentic and central - This 1829 Inn survived the Civil War is original, the floors creek, and it's decorated in the style of the period. The owners are excellent and very friendly and the email that they send you before tells you everything you need to know about getting in because it's keyless. Limited parking because it's right on the main square which is the drawback not because of the innkeepers but because of the loud motorcycles that drive through up to midnight. Car noise isn't noticeable here just like at Gettysburg when they say to be respectful and quiet these loud motorcycles will revv up with there engines and you can't even hear each other speak when you are asked by signage to be quiet and respectful the falling soldiers at cemetery Hill. But that has nothing to do with the Inn...was authentic and we were looking for an authentic experience. And it goes without saying that it's very close to many different types of food or and or businesses.
- Karian (10/5): Beautiful stay. Very clean and wonderfully decorated - Location Nothing!
- R1628OIchrisw (10/5): Exploring history with kids. - The location is perfect to explore the town of Gettysburg. The accommodations were well maintained and perfect for a family. Easy check in was very convenient. We would highly recommend it as a place to stay.
- Jill (10/5): - It was absolutely an awesome place to stay! Hillary and Gus have done an amazing job with the property! Will definitely be staying there again!
- Lewis (6/5): Pleasant -
