• cassio (2/5): - The so caled room - is just a claustrofobic cuicle. they turn of air condicioner in day time so only can sleep and rest at night. Also internet only works in 5th floor. signal not work in room. The so caled room are mini boxes and there are too many people togueter per floor.
• Chanida (6/5): - It did not look the pictures. The place is very small, had to walk up many stairs. The common area, kitchen and bathroom are dirty. The bed was clean, the a/c was fine. We stayed only a few hours just to rest before taking a trip.

• Brown (10/5): Love matchbox - great hostel - Great chill out room upstairs with balcony, inside bean bags and A/C. Capsule hotel pretty cheap near the BTS transport line.
• Elvina (8/5): Decent and clean accommodation - Its a decent space. The pods are spacious enough, bathtooms are clean. The only downside is the AC being switched off from 10 am to 6pm. So if you are travelling during summers, you might want to keep that in mind. But if its only the nights that you wanna spend here then its a good place to crash.

El área común bien equipado con lavadora y secadora, cocineta, refrigerador, agua café y té gratis, e incluso área para fumadores... Yo tenía un resfrío y la chica de recepción me dio unas pastillas e incluso estuvo pendiente de cómo me sentía. Todo excelente.

• hiroaki (4/5): バンコク、スクンビットでの一人旅の短期滞在に - ファーストクラスはベッドが広く快適だった。ベッドの下に鍵付きの荷物入れがあり、カバンが仕舞える。部屋の中にセーフティボックスもある。部屋の入り口にはキーカードがあり宿泊客以外は入れない。部屋の中でワイファィは良く繋がる。シャワー、トイレは故障している部屋もあったが、清潔だった。シャンプー、ボデイソープは備え付けてあるが、タオル、スリッパ等を持参したほうが良い。１階がフロント，２階から４階が客室、５階は休憩所、ベランダでコインランドリー、テーブルとソファー、テレビ、エアコン、流し、水とお湯の給水機、無料のコーヒー等が置かれている。ＢＴＳのプロンポン駅から近く、デパート、日系スーパー、日本食屋多し、ショピング、観光、ナイトライフ等の拠点に便利。
• Verified traveler (2/5): GROSS - 2 of the 3 bathrooms were out of order on my floor and it reeked of sewage. Room was hot and again smell was bad. Would NEVER go there again.

• Ainsley (8/5): Good location and clean room and bathroom - We stayed at matchbox for 2 nights, it's a really good location less than a 5 minute walk to BTS (sky train) and 10 minutes to the subway (underground train) the staff weren't too helpful not a lot of English but they were still nice and let us keep our bags there and use the bathrooms after we had checked out as we were leaving til the evening. The beds were good and bathrooms were kept clean. Secure lockers under beds. Only down fall is they did let a group of about 10 people in at 5-6 am and they turned all the lights on, we did have a curtain to our bed but they still kept us up. I would stay here again though.

• Verified traveler (4/5): not very comfortable hostel - when i arrived they were maintaining the hostel ,their staff were not friendly and think that we are annoying them, hostel price is high for a dormatory room on that area,you can get a hotel room with that price,but hostel has a good facilities in kitchen and inside the matchbox room although the rooms are very small.in overall i do not recommend it for anybody
• HSIU-TSZ (8/5): - 老舊公寓，而且早上10點到晚上6點，不開冷氣只有風扇，在密閉的客房區很悶熱
• Verified traveler (6/5): Still one of the best budget places - But no AC from 11am~6pm Still not the worst being in the expensive Japanese biz street with massage, K-TV, bars etc. The night staff is new and much better than the one last year. Although the safe box is still a little problem as you have to go downstairs to request. Wifi info is also only available in the front so be sure to ask for both wifi and safe box problems before you go upstairs as there is no elevator. The topfloor lounge is good for kitchen stuff but no kitchen rules yet as lots of food and drinks are in the fridge withoust the owners names.
• Verified traveler (8/5): ロケーションは最高です。 - １日だけの宿泊でしたが、ＢＴＳ【プロンポン駅】からも歩いて5分~6分ですのでバンコク、スクンビット通り周辺で遊ぶのであれば問題ないです。また、通りは比較的人通りも多く特に危険とは感じませんでした。部屋については今回ファーストクラスのドミトリーをチョイスしました。ホテルの客のマナーは特に悪くありませんでしたが、時と場合によってはシチュエーションは変わるでしょう。スタッフ達も、親切で、チェックインの際には部屋まで案内してくれます。タバコがどこで吸えるとか、共有のキッチンスペース、シャワー室など、聞けばどこにあるか、どこで出来るか教えてくれます。ホテルも隣にセブンイレブンがあるので立地は解りやすいです。通りには、日本食、イタリアン、マッサージ店など数多くのお店が並んでいるので困ることはないかと思います。

• KEISUKE (8/5): 清潔、（たまたまかもしれませんが、）静か。ネットも繋がった。 - いわゆるカプセルホテルですが、清潔ですし、静かでした。遅く到着して1泊するだけ、もしくは寝に帰るだけなら、十分です。シャワーの時のタオルは有料なので、がっかりしないでください。 1階にコンビニもあるし、5回はフリースペースなので、仕事もそこでしました。 まわりも便利な地域です。
• Ben (6/5): No elelvator to the 5th floor - Make sure you get the wifi password when checking inn as there is no password info on the wall or anywhere except at the front. The staff didn't know how to use the safe and took a while to settle in but it was clean and safe and fun as before. The AC gets turned off from 11 am to 6 pm. for saving energy and the rate was only about 400 bt so I can't complain.
• KENJIE (8/5): - The staff was accommodating, friendly, and can speak English well. They are always smiling and they make you feel very welcome.
• Verified traveler (8/5): 2 nights in Bangkok - Hostel clean and tidy! Location very good, with a 7/11 and ATM literally next door and only a 5min walk to the local BTS stop and same walk to a shopping mall and restaurants. Staff all very friendly and welcoming, happy for us to leave luggage before check in and after check out. Kitchen facilities very good, fresh cold drinking water available for free. Luggage storage under bed more than accommodated our two big backpacks. Sleep was average but that was due to the other people in the room with us (eg. People taking calls all through the night, playing music after 10pm.), the AC was good in the kitchen but the beds get a little warm if you close your curtain over night. Would stay again if we were in the area though.

• Verified traveler (6/5): My stay at Matchbox - My reservation was supposed to be for a all-female don't warm and when I got there it was put into a mixed dorm. I was told it was because I checked in so late at night and everything else was sold out. I requested a bottom bunk bed and received a top bunk bed. I fail from the top bunk trying to climb down the ladder and hurt myself pretty bad. When I ask for ice, the desk clerk act like she didn't understand what I was talking about. I explained to her that I have fallen and she didn't do anything to assist. I was disappointed in her nonchalant response. The following day I was moved to a different dorm which I thought would have been a female door only to find out it was also a mix of dawn. However I was given a bottom bunk. A different clerk told me where I could get a brace for my hand that I bruised when I fell. I didn't like the fact that your room key was a magnetic card that allow to the inside of the building after hours and also was required to be use each and every time you into the dorm room. There was a very nice rooftop lounge that included and outdoor patio. Nice place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. This places attached to a 711 which was great for just picking up little things. There were local street vendors selling fresh fruit first thing in the morning and other foods throughout the day. When it was time for me to catch a taxi to go to the airport, there was a taxi right outside of this place. Taxis want you to bargain with them.
• william (6/5): Easy from airport but just to see the Soi Cowboy - Sukhumvit is smokey and 99% of the cars and motos hate walkers and crosswalks. I'm 63, backpacking, and can move pretty well. However, they intimidate walkers like we have worthless lives.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 很不錯! 第一次的完美Hostel體驗 - 床很大(有三尺半), 很舒服, 上格也有足夠空間. Female only 很安全, 用拍卡進大門和房間. 簾能充分遮光. 底部有鎖房行李(可放兩個行李箱的空間), 床頭有密碼鎖, 不錯. 一層有三個洗手間, 夠用..有冷熱水. 有風筒 外邊有很多club和熟食小販.

• jocelyne (8/5): - Loved the capsule concept. Especially having my own tv, lights and outlet. This was my second stay here and I plan to stay again when I'm back in Bangkok in two months. The common area was great and cheap to do laundry. I loved the location, close to the bts is always a plus and lots of street food. Yum.
• くあん (6/5): まあまあです。 - 日本のカプセルスタイルです。最上階に行くと冷蔵庫、レンジ使えます。トイレやシャワーに行くには鍵を常に持たないとなりません。ベッド下のスーツケース入れ？は幅が28センチでギリギリでしたそれに下がコンクリートなので出し入れで傷になりました。高い物や新しい物は入れない方が良いかも知れません。セキュリティボックスは壊れてました。 顧客が少ないので延泊しましたが、CNの方が増えたので他に移りました。夜中に帰ってきたりされると困ります。他の滞在者によって快適さが変わります。角にファミマ隣は7-11先にtopsスーパー、近くにフジスーパー、スクンビット通り左にヴィラマート、右にイオンがあります。通りに屋台もあります。駅まで5分くらいなので場所は良いでしょう。誰が来るか分からないので2,3泊が限度かも知れません。
• jocelyne (8/5): - Personal TV is a nice amenity. Bathrooms were extremely clean and the rooftop community area was clean, comfy and useful. The staff was great and I ended up coming back for a second time later on in my trip!

The room is clean and quiet! and the bed is really really big even i booked for a single dorm! and the staff is polite, they let me take a shower after check-out before i leave thai! its value for money! i will go again when i go bangkok again!

• Verified traveler (6/5): Disturbances in the middle of the night... - First, the cons: We stayed here for 2 nights, and the first night was okay. However, on the second night at around 11.30pm the lady owner came into the room with a contractor and switched on the lights in the room which was already off for the night and people were asleep. They were talking very loudly and after about 10 minutes, left the room without any apology. And then at 2am they admitted a new guest into our shared room and there was a huge ruckus of plastic bags as the person unpacks. The lights were again, switched on and were not turned off. I had to wake up and switched it off myself. It was rather inconsiderate of the hostel staff to place a new guest in the room in the middle of the night as there were plenty of other rooms which were empty in the hostel. The reception is a bit cold, but perhaps that is because she spoke limited English. We arrived at 10am after a 13 hour flight but were told we could only check in at 12pm as the beds weren't available(we later found out that most of the shared rooms were either empty or half full when we finally got into the room). Doesn't feel great to be lied to. The good: The private cubicle was a nice touch, especially with the personal tv and curtains. Toilets were clean, and air conditioner runs well. There's a cool outdoor loft. I loved the place but not the way it was run. If changes are made to the service I wouldn't mind returning as the facilities were good.
• Sayaka (10/5): 日本のカプセルホテルよりキレイかも - ベッドも広くて、毎日スタッフが掃除をしてくれるので部屋や共有スペースも清潔です。 洗濯機、乾燥機、冷蔵庫、トースター、給湯ポット、電子レンジ、食器類もあるので快適です。 スタッフもフレンドリーです。
• MARJORIE (10/5): Très bonne impression ! - Petit hôtel moderne et coloré, les "box" sont bien pensées, la literie confortable et les salles de bain communes très propres. Intimité et calme relatifs car ce sont des dortoirs et il y a forcément du mouvement jusque tard la nuit... Situé dans une rue qui bouge on trouvre tout ce qu'il faut (restos, 7 eleven...) et BTS tout proche. Bonne adresse !
• Verified traveler (10/5): 很像飯店的青年旅館 - BTS Prompong 1或5號出口步行約10分鐘，地點在sukumvit 33巷(巷口有family mart)，進去後步行約5分鐘，7-11隔壁。雖然是青年旅館但是每個床都保有個人隱私，房間地板和公共空間都是每天打掃，櫃台服務也很親切，一開始只訂單人床7天，但後來決定在曼谷的時候都住這裡了，青年旅館有提供雙人床是件很特別的事，後來男友過來一起總共住了14天，不管是單人床或雙人床都很不錯。附近吃飯跟購買生活用品也很方便，以後來曼谷大概除了這裡沒有別的選擇了。
• Natt (10/5): Great Hostel - This place is beyond my expectation. The pod style bunk bed provided clean sheet as well as personal TV. Moreover, it's also give you privacy, which you can not see elsewhere. The location is also great.It's in the middle of everything only 5 mins walk from BTS. All in all, it's the best hostel I ever stayed! Staffs are also helpful with your travel itinerary. Highly recommended this place for backpackers and solo traveler!!

• Verified traveler (6/5): You get what you pay for. - The hostel is at red light district. It's quite noisy at night, as the street vendors play loud music. It's a bargain for couples travelling on a tight budget. The staffs aren't very good in English, and one of them led us to an expensive massage she had connection with when we asked for recommendations... We found out about it and cancelled the booking of the massage right away. Her attitude wasn't very positive. The location is close to BTS Phong Phromg station.
• ASAMI (6/5): 部屋に関しては綺麗でまた使用したいが、、、 - ドミトリーのダブルだったけど、ドミトリーもトイレなども綺麗で使いやすかった。 けど、店員の態度が悪かったから嫌な気分になった。

• Verified traveler (4/5): The worst customer service in Thailand !!! - And the staff especially the night staff on Wed(a woman) could be one of the worst in the world.It was my second visit to this hostel after being one of the very first customers in May when they opened. She recognized me but didn't welcome me because "I booked through hotels.com and not through facebook" I do not remember that how I should book again as she must have told everyone who stayed in May for rebooking. She was showing anger and emotion that made me very uncomfortable. She said no free towel service therefore. I said it was Ok but requested her to open the safe box which was broken. She refused to help even after a second request. She was angry and sour for the whole time I was there. I am twice her age and never seen such a bad attitude and behavior in any of the customer service in the history of my 20 yrs of travels.
• Kat (8/5): A couple of great nights sleep! - We really enjoyed our stay at Matchbox. It's close to the metro and BTS and a great area to try lots of different Street food. It was very comfortable and the black out curtains along with the air-con meant we got a couple of really good night's sleep. The only challenge was space. The bed was a mattress in a hole in the wall and then you stored your Suitcase under the bed in a compartment with a door and lock. The corridor running along the room was quite thin so getting stuff in and out for showering was a bit of a hassle. Apart from that everything else was a big thumbs up :)
• Charlie (10/5): Definitely worth a stay - My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and then went back there for another night when returning to Bangkok. You get a card for access into a room of either 8 or 10 beds that are in pods with a TV, a little safe and a curtain for privacy. The bed was so comfortable and you get a small lockable cupboard under the bed for your luggage - we managed to fit two 70L rucksacks and 2 day bags in there. There was a nights where only one of the bathrooms had toilet roll but we managed. You have use of a kitchen on the top floor as well as a seating area outside. The staff were very helpful, when we checked out they helped with our transport plans getting to our next location. We did and would go back again.
