- Laura (8/5): Nothing Fancy - Clean & Close to everything! - We stayed in Montauk for one night so we could attend the Metallica concert at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett. It was the perfect distance away! The room itself was nothing special, but it was clean & had everything we needed and they even let us in a bit early so we could get to the concert on time! Thank you for that!

The pull-out couch bed could be better but we didn't have high expectations for that. Overall unit was spacious and suited us well for the trip. Loved being close to the stores and right across from the beach. Good value.

- James (10/5): - I really enjoyed my two-night stay at Montauk Oceanside Suites. It's a very nice, quiet place to stay and also the beach is literally just across the street. Having never stayed there before, I was also very pleased with my room. Lots of nice touches (books, DVDs, chairs outside the room with a little table between them). My room was freshly painted with a comfortable bed and sofa. The dining table was by the window so you could look out at the view while you ate. I brought groceries to cook in the room, so the kitchenette was also a real bonus!

- Lesley (8/5): - This property is perfect especially off-season as it is very close to town, gives you room in the unit, is across the street from the beach, and is very quiet and affordable. There is a kitchen so you can cook if you want to and they give you a coffee maker to use but no coffee like a hotel does. No hair dryer, either, so bring one if its cool out! I have not been to this property during pool season so I cannot say anything about that but for beach access this is a great spot although not on the beach. I would have liked a little broom in the room to sweep up the sand after a beach walk but none available. I think this is a perfect spot for Montauk getaways! !
- Kim (10/5): - We stayed here a couple of years ago when it was a different name. It was just ok then. Now, it was absolutely comfortable, clean and very updated. We were pleasantly surprised. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. Looking forward to a return visit. Highly recommend!

- Adriane (8/5): - The hotels in this area have been around for a very long time. They have that weathered look. This hotel had what we were looking for. No frills and clean. We had a one bedroom, with an open dining /living room and galley kitchen. The kitchen came equipped with coffee maker, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and stove. The location was great one block from the ocean, one block to the center of town. Take the LIRR taxi over and you don’t need a car for a weekend getway. Enjoy!

- Kerri (6/5): - The women that worked in the hotel office the day of my check in was so rude and unfriendly. I never felt so unwelcomed by somebody in my life. I understand working customer service can be rough, I do it everyday. However this women didn’t smile and just made me feel like every word out of my mouth was irritating her. Really set my parents a little off when I told them how the conversation went with her, as this was my trip for them. We also had no hot water for 45 min on Thursday which when the party of people are trying to run through showers to get to dinner reservations and it makes you late is very annoying.

- Elizabeth (8/5): Good stay - Clean hotel. Some rooms have a small kitchen to cook others do not. I had a connecting room and I heard the entire conversation in the next room. So next time I will request a non connecting room. The AC is in the bedroom and hopefully the air travels to the living room. They need to place a fan near the bathroom so that the cool air travels to the living room. The beach is across the street which is perfect.

- Valerie (10/5): - Spacious and clean. Great for the price though you can hear everything in adjoining units, the connecting doors are very thin and have no sound proofing. Great location and check in and check out was a breeze.
- Jonathan (10/5): - This is our second time staying at Montauk Oceanside Suites and we enjoyed both times. It is very close to the beach and a short walk to dining options. We only used of car once(to dine on the bay side) over three days. We would defiantly stay there again.

- Emily (2/5): - We had been staying here for years when it was the born free. I’m assuming it’s under new management (hence the name change) because it immediately became a dump. We booked a suite with a kitchen. There was no kitchen at all. Just a fridge and a microwave. They were not accommodating at all after that. While there were plenty of other rooms available, they would not move us. We were told we would at least receive a partial refund, however that has still not happened. Management has been impossible to reach. Not happy and definitely switching where we stay moving forward

- Allison (2/5): Poor. - We checked in after 4 so no staff on duty to assist when toilet didn’t work and bedroom blinds would not work so no privacy. Tried calling, texting, and emailing property management to help but no response. Had to get another room at the Montauk Manor which was beautiful and staff were helpful and got us a room right away when there heard we were in a jam. So paid for a room we could not use at the Montauk Oceanside suites.
- Jay (10/5): - The room was a little dated. But it served our purpose. The bedroom was a nice size and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size also and very clean. The grounds are well maintained with plenty of parking. They also have a Bbq grill and a picnic table. Look forward to going back. Plus it’s across from the Ocean and a close walk to the town.

- Anna (6/5): - I am giving three stars, but it is actually two and a half. The check-in is remote. We have received the text that the room is ready and headed to the hotel. When we arrived we found the room not cleaned after the last stay: full trash, bed sheets unchanged, dirty towels in the bathroom. We found cleaning lady on the property who kept on saying that check-in is at 3pm. There is no management on the property most of the day. The room was fine overall. Some furniture needs maintenance: there was a lot of stains on the couch and the mattress springs were worn. TV in the bedroom is unwatchable and needs replacement. There is a fridge and stove in the unit. The was a heat in the room and it was working well.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Difficult check-in, no "kitchen," lumpy beds - The apartment was as pictured and basically OK ***BUT*** (1) our reservation confirmation said the office would be open for check in from 9-5 and they provided a number to call too. The office was not open when we arrived at 3pm and noone answered the phone or returned our messages. If the cleaning lady wasn't there to help us, we would never have gotten in! (2) The "kitchen" is a frig, microwave, and some plates. No sink, no pots. we had to wash dishes in the bathroom. (3) the main bed was lumpy and the sofa bed was terrible. So, the location is good but otherwise we did not have the stay we were hoping for.
