- Brian (10/5): Great mountain onsen getaway - The hotel was like I remembered 40 years ago. I love the mountain scenery, the outdoor onsen as well as the great meals. I loved the nice and quiet location. Great stay! Nothing! I loved it all.

- Luh Gede Saraswati (9/5): Memorable! - I love the Deer Dance performance thank you so much! The hotel was warm and cozy, everybody was so sweet! The food was delicious, amazingly scrumptious all you can eat! On the first night at 2 am I heard a lot of noise from upstairs, that kind of scared me. I was thinking to myself, am I being haunted by Hanamaki ghost? 😂😂

- Gil (9/5): Great and comfortable Ryokan, but lacks the intimate experience - Very comfortable, with great facilities and many options for Onsens (Koyokan one was the best in my opinion). The dinner and breakfast buffets have a very large selection of delicious foods. Free shuttle services were also great. It is a large establishment, with many guests and many rooms, and so although it's a Ryokan it also feels more like a massive hotel, and not as intimate as other Ryokans in Japan.

- 查理 (2/5): - 員工都非常有禮貌，而且有台灣籍員工，讓我們溝通非常順暢。 飯店附近有許多商店可以逛街，地點很不錯。 房間的床鋪乾淨又舒服。 我覺得飯店實在太熱了。現在才十月初，空調竟然是開暖氣！晚上熱到我完全沒辦法蓋棉被睡覺，又不能開窗，因為外面有很多蟲，真的非常不舒服。 另外，讓我最不滿的是洗衣的部分。這麼大的飯店，居然沒有提供客人洗衣服務，我還得走連通橋到隔壁飯店洗衣服。這就算了，重點是隔壁的洗衣房標示超級不清楚，我找了快二十分鐘才找到，而且完全沒有英文標示，讓外國旅客根本不知道怎麼找。 更離譜的是，隔壁飯店的服務人員態度非常差，不論是櫃檯人員還是在溫泉館內賣洗衣球的員工，態度都讓人很不舒服。 而且洗衣房只開放早上七點到晚上十一點。請問洗衣跟烘衣又不是人工操作，為什麼還要限制時間？我為了溝通、找洗衣房、處理這些問題，花了將近一個小時，當時已經晚上九點半了。 因為洗衣房十一點就關，我還得在那邊顧著，根本沒辦法去泡溫泉。結果住在這家溫泉飯店，我一次都沒泡到，真的讓人非常失望。 I think the hotel was way too hot. It’s only early October, yet the air conditioning was set to heating! It was so warm at night that I couldn’t sleep with a blanket on. I couldn’t even open the window because there were so many bugs outside — it was really uncomfortable. What made me most disappointed was the laundry situation. For such a big hotel, it’s unbelievable that there’s no laundry service for guests. I had to walk across the connecting bridge to another hotel just to do my laundry. Fine, I could accept that, but the signs for the laundry room there were extremely unclear. It took me almost 20 minutes to find it, and there were no English signs at all — how are guests supposed to find it? To make things worse, the staff at the other hotel were very rude — both the front desk staff and the person selling laundry detergent inside the spa building. Also, the laundry room was only open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The washing and drying machines are automatic, so why do guests have to follow such strict time limits? I spent nearly an hour just trying to communicate and find the laundry room — by the time I started, it was already 9:30 p.m. Because the laundry room closed at 11, I had to stay there and wait, which meant I couldn’t even enjoy the hot springs. In the end, I stayed at a hot spring hotel but never got to use the hot springs at all. It was really disappointing.

- ぶるー ろーたす (8/5): - お風呂が充実している。部屋も広くとても居心地良いです。朝食もバラエティに富んでおり、良かったです。 周りも散策が楽しめ、ホテルステイでも十分楽しめるところだと思います。 部屋の鍵はオートロックにし、鍵はカードキーにしてほしい。あと夏場の露天風呂はもう少し温度低めが良いなと思った。

- Alexander (9/5): Onsen are lovely. - It is a lovely location in the mountains. A shuttle bus operates only at fixed times: 15.00, 16.00, and 17.00 to pick you up (don't come early like we did) The onsen are extremely nice. You can choose which one from the 3 hotels you want to use. The fitness room is nice and clean. There is enough choice for breakfast, and you can choose a lot for dinner. You can walk to the waterfall. This place is fine for 2 days. You can go into the mountains, but there are wild bears. There is a small temple. The view from the room is very nice. We had a lovely time. When you go for dinner, hanging your Japanese outfit in your room(almost everyone does it) is advisable so your clothes don't smell after food. During breakfast, don't wear your Japanese outfit :). The beds are good. The room is spacious, and all comfort is available Some minor things. There is not much to do except for the hotel, so this is a nice experience for relaxing in Tokyo. There were no Europeans when we were there, and there was a crab dinner festival for three days when we were there. The rooms were dated, but the view from the rooms makes it all fine

Cenrralised Air-conditioner in room with temperature cannot be adjusted. Feel hot at night in early September and sweat during sleep.

- Wenqi (8/5): Very good - Buffet has a lot of choices, the hotel is near a sightseeing place with waterfall This is actually a hotel connected with two others, with the onsens from each of the hotel being accessible to guests from any of the three hotels. However, each onsen feels quite similarly, and for our stay the Koyokan's is the best, because the outdoor part is accessible. But, in general, all the onsen is quite ordinary and there is no buddle massage in any of them.
