Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place to stay for a short trip. Very good location. Comfortable stay.
- Kate (8/5): - Hanna was very kind and easily available. The suite was very nice and reasonably priced for the area. Location was excellent and the apartment was well set up for our needs.
Our only observation was that cleaning staff need to wipe down surfaces such as walls and appliances. This had no impact on our stay but made the space a little less inviting.
We would absolutely stay again and encourage friwnds to do the same!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Apartment was spacious and well maintained. The only problem was that the e-mail about how to get the key was sent the morning of our check-in date after we had left home to travel to Toronto. It should be sent sooner to accommodate people traveling from a distance.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Walls were all scuffed up. Both shower controls didn’t work properly, bed linens didn’t appear to be clean, condo was not ready for 4pm check in. Freezer of fridge leaks into fridge. Pictures didn’t correspond to what I rented. Being centrally located was the only positive about this experience. Over all disappointed.
- michael (6/5): - This place is fine, little things like the patio is basically not useable as it’s dirty, exterior windows are filthy, no laundry detergent but overall good. I’ve stayed at similar properties in the same are and price range that are much nicer.
- Laura (10/5): Perfect location and housing - Excellent! Myself and four children spent three nights at this property. There was a full view of the CN Tower off of the balcony, one bedroom with Two single beds and a master bedroom with en suite. It was convenient to have a dishwasher washing machine and dryer and we all enjoyed the king size Jacuzzi/poolp we all enjoyed the king size Jacuzzi/pool. The condo was clean with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The location was perfect. Just a block away from the Ripleys aquarium and Two blocks from the convention center. Will definitely return
- FF (8/5): - Conveninet place to live for a short dutation. WIll stay again. Price was very competitive too.
- Francois (10/5): 20 Blue Jays Way. - This is a very nice and brand new condo, in the heart of downtown To. Well located, close to the convention centre. Clean and very comfy. Good service despite the fact that i had not picked up the message they had left me with regards to how to pick up the keys. I must say that the key service is well managed and in fact quite nifty. Many thanks
- Christian (10/5): - The location was great.Tons of space. The number given for help took a while to call you back. But would recommend to anyone
- Donny (10/5): - Great weekend to get engaged: location was perfect
- Shortstay (8/5): - Nice property. It’s a condo in a condo building not a hotel room. Spacious. Very good location. Only issue was no internet
- Patricia (8/5): Perfect location but needs update and maintenance - Fabulous location! Quick walk to Rogers, the CN Tower & Ripley’s Aquarium. 15 minute walk to Hockey Hall of Fame. The suite itself was the perfect layout for what we needed. In need of an update & some maintenance. Handles on the shower faucets are loose, there is a broken chair on the outdoor balcony, the fridge has bowls in it to catch water inside it and the master bathroom is missing it’s towel bar and needs some work done in the shower. The suite has washer & dryer in it — which was very handy. Expect to purchase toilet paper and laundry soap. There is a handy little store right across the street that is open 24 hours. Beds are low quality. I read the previous reviews and had an idea of what to expect and I was not disappointed. We rented this for the location, the kitchen & number of beds. The location was perfect for what our trip was for. We had a bit of a miscommunication when it came to paying for the room — the site we booked through says payment on arrival & the management company requires full payment 2 days before arrival. They don’t send any correspondence to you beforehand. It was a bit of a pain but all worked out in the end. There is a great view of the CN tower from the balcony
- Steve (8/5): - PROS: The property location was amazing! We had a view of CN Tower from our balcony. The suite itself was had all the basics requires in a hotel room and an added personal washer and dryer
CONS: Communication with property owners was challenging as there are more than one individual. Check-in process was strange and difficult at times. Check-out was simple.
- Jackie (10/5): - Very good location
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Started bad when you go to the place stated to get key, and ask one of the workers like stated and they are rude with you. you go to the building ask about parking, and are rude (no parking on site like the ad said) but the parking lot next door, were great and accommodating. No instructions on how to get into the place (the key fob)... the room was clean but holes in wall... towels were dirty.. like they were folded back up after people used them. the bed was hard as a rock... Lots of lights did not work. was told no pool for us by the concierge.
- john (8/5): Great location but needs a little tlc - Enjoyed our stay except for quite a bit of mold in each shower .
Also need to communicate better that fob needs to stay with you at all times.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Satisfied and would recommend - Good experience overall despite the wait time to check in. Only suggestion for improvement is most of the place could use a paint refresh.
- ANAND (10/5): - Lovely, comfy place with ease of access to transport, food options et al.
- G-Matt (10/5): Great location. - Great location, lots of room. 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, lots of coach space. Large balcony. All around great spot
- Marc (8/5): Great hotel, at proximity of everything - I had a very good stay at the hotel but firstly, when I came in, it smelled like a dirty mop all over. It was not a welcoming smell. Bring an air freshner. Second, I wished to have a better view of the CN tower. I was right across a building with people working who could see us. For my purpose, it was lacking but if you are only looking for a place to stay with amenities, it's perfect. I also wished it was bigger. Other than that, when the smell was gone, it was a good stay. You pay a bit too much for what you get.
- Donald (10/5): - Was a great place to stay right in the heart of Toronto, beside the Air Canada Center. Breakfast pkace across the street, and great restaurants within walking distance. A cute little condo with everything one might need.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great for central Toronto stay - No staff, only concierge for private apartments. LivingSuite owners were very helpful for 20 Bluejays Way, meeting me at the time of my choosing with the key and taking me to the underground parking ($25/night extra). All private apartments in central Toronto appear to be very expensive, and this was on the cheaper end of what I could find only a week before going to Toronto. Great balcony view of the CN Tower.
- Sue (8/5): Good location near CN Tower and Rogers Centre. - Unfortunately our first night was messed up with a mix up of apartments so we were put into a 1 bed with sofabed which we had to make up ourselves after travelling for 12 hours (which was extremely uncomfortable for 2 adults - worst mattress i've ever seen! Springs sticking through). The contact given on order conformation, Hana, was easy to contact however and dealt with it efficiently. We opted to stay in the 1 bed rather than move to another location and changed to a 2 bed the following night in the same building. This was what we had originally booked and was therefore much more spacious and comfortable with the view we had hoped for from a large balcony. Such a shame we didn't get this our first night as we were only there 2 nights so it did really spoil the stay quite a bit. The apartments are lovely and kept clean. The concierge/door persons are not there to help really and don't acknowledge you coming and going. So don't expect much friendiness there!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The twin beds could have been more comfortable, overall I had a great experience, I will stay here again
- Verified traveler (10/5): So friendly - Very clean condo with whole hotel facilities. And the host is very friendly. Good place to the cn tower.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location near the Convention Centre - The proximity to restaurants was good, the location couldn't be beat. It was a great unit and had everything we needed for a couple of nights in the city on business.
- Vicki (6/5): Great location and layout but needs attention. - Apartment mostly looks neglected. No sharp knife, no ice cube trays, one wineglass, numerous burnt out light bulbs, uncomfortable single bed mattresses. Balcony with great view of CN tower but littered with cigarette butts and weeds growing out of floor. On day of check out only one of four elevators were working so had to leave keys and fob with a reluctant concierge so we could make our plane.
- Joan (10/5): Close to Skydome - Clean convenient and comfortable
- Tim (8/5): Very close to Rogers Centre. - Very close to Rogers Centre, stocked with household items for everyday use. Not a hotel, this is a quiet condo unit.
- Sue (6/5): Centrally located but not well maintained - Minimal cleaning done. Damage not repaired (broken window and hole in wall. Stuff still in dryer from previous renter. Can containing cigarette butts on balcony but room advertised as non smoking.
Definitely paying for location with this unit. Had it been a hotel room I would haves complained and asked for different accommodations.
- Jill (10/5): - excellent location to every place you could want to attend I will stay here again and again, so much nicer than a hotel an much more secure than hotel
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was nice over all, but there was a shortage of linens, only one wash cloth and hand towel and no bath mat.
- Ryan (8/5): Great room/lousy start - organization was rude and changed agreement made with hotels.com (tried to take pre-payment tried to take and demanded pre-pay). I had to call three times to attempt to make arrangements. The key was in the room the whole time and it was unnecessary to continue calling to make arrangements, they could have just told me that the first time. Door man was helpful, room was great, beds ok. View and location were great and as advertised.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Disorganized and very poor communication. - We arrived at Livingsuites with little information. I went into the condo(parked in visitor parking), and the person at the front desk was confused. Finally he sent me to the 12th floor to the condo to get the key/parking fab. My wife and 2 small children waited in the car. We got parked and settled. There was only 1 key provided, so I attempted to contact the owners for a 2nd(I was there for business, my wife and kids there for pleasure). Nobody responded, replied or contacted us until the 3rd day(when we were leaving). When you leave, you have to take your car out of the garage, then return to the condo to drop off the key.. not ideal when you have a 1 year old and 3 year old. A $30/day fee was charged for our 2 children, although policy states if you use the bedding in the suite, no extra fee will be charged. This was not in the original price either. Will not stay again.
**Location is quite good... Oh and there was no remote to the TV.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great room and location - We enjoyed our experience with living suites Toronto. Blue Jays way is an excellent location while attending a convention and close to many downtown restaurants and attractions. This is a condo with full kitchen and living room rather than a hotel. Sleeps 5-6 comfortably. Would definitely stay again.
- Melanie (10/5): great location ! must stay. - Great view of the tower and rogers center. easy access to downtown convention center, food, groceries, coffee. Very clean and plenty of closet space. Slight issue with parking but issues were delt with very quickly, great response. thank you, will be back very soon.
- Wayne (6/5): Hotel Price without the Hotel Service - We arrived exactly when we previously advised. No one but security was there to meet us. Suite was large but needed little maintenance. Floor molding was cracked and damaged and one of the lights in the bathroom was missing and the internet didn't work. When I called for assistance I was sent to voice mail and received a call back some time later. Just little stuff that all added up to a sub expectation stay. The location is prime though. However, we wont be staying there again.
- Larry (10/5): Great location! - Had everything we wanted food entertainment music and sports!
- Pierre (6/5): - Facility not well maintained. This private condos being "rented" as hotel room is very basic, and maintenance service is poor at best. Despite being a new construction [, 10 years], it shows advanced wear and tear. The area well centrally located is also very noisy at night, and the level of house party noises on the floor ona saturday night was totally unacceptable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great area. Was happy with everything - Overall great experience. Enjoyed the place and area. Check in was easy and everything was how it should have been. Only small issue was we didn't have access to the pool area or game room. Wasn't sure if that was for condo owners or hotel guests as well.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the walls and windows could use a good clean but everything else was good
- Chris (8/5): This is not a hotel, but a furnished apartment - I was naive when booking this. I should have read the fine print, as is this is really an apartment being rented like a hotel room. This is great in some ways and not so much in others. The suite is "newish" and very clean. The location is fantastic for any sport events as you are literally across the street from Rogers Center/CN Tower, and a 5 minute walk to the Air Canada Center. There are several casual dining places handy (within 2 minutes walk), a drug and convenience store across the street, and the theater is 5 blocks up.
The downside is there is no lobby or hotel staff if you need anything. No room cleaning (although you get charged $50 for room cleaning on checkout), no free parking and no concierge (for taxis, etc). The building, being residential, is fairly quiet inside, but the traffic on the street is busy into the late hours. I was ok with that as a trade off for the location (you cant have both!)
I called the help lines provided when we were missing a couple essential things in the room (toilet paper, for example), and both went to personal voicemails.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Enjoyed the stay. However the single beds in the second bedroom are very low quality, which is easily fixed at low costs, considering the room was $400+ per night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Liked the location, but not the downtown noise. Initial problems with the key not going into the lock signals to me that the place had not been used in a while. Would consider something like this again, but probably not returning to Toronto any time soon.
- Adam (8/5): Close to ballpark - Location was great
On Expedia it shows up as a hotel which it is not. It's more like a BRBO
I would have liked a concierge to ask about places to eat in Toronto.
The listing just needs to be clear about what you are getting,
- Arthur C (10/5): excellent condo, great location - this is a condo unit, not a hotel. it was fantastic! it was nice to have a kitchen and a balcony where we could sit and relax (with cn tower in the background). it is literally a block away from the skydome and cn tower. we would definitely return. perfect for family or small group (couples).
- Wendy (10/5): Livingsuites - My husband and I had a great weekend, took in a Blue Jay's game, jazz night at the Ripley museum and some relax time and just walked around downtown. The Condo was clean and very close to everything, would stay here again. Our rep Karen was awesome and made our check in very easy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Check in was smooth, we emailed ahead to advise of our arrival time. Requested a second key and one was provided. Arrived to find a box of pastries to welcome us. This was a nice touch. Communication with the owner was easy via email.
- Katie (10/5): Living Suites Toronto - Really enjoyed our stay at The Elements which we booked through Living Suites Toronto. It was beautiful, clean, safe, and convenient to public transit, grocery, restaurants, sightseeing, etc. The full size kitchen and living area allowed us to eat-in some nights. Very efficient and friendly management by Living Suites Toronto. We hope to book a condo again at The Elements through Living Suites Toronto.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location! - Great location, close to the Blue Jays, CN Tower, Aquarium, etc. Nice to stay in a condo with a young family (vs a hotel room). Sofa bad was not great though, but otherwise would highly recommend and would stay there again!
