Guest Reviews
- Meredith (6/5): We weren't as pleased with this property as we have been in the past. - We didn't think the room was as clean as when we had stayed at the property in the past. The sheets smelled dirty, the shower wasn't clean, and the wardrobe smelled like mold. We also had to pay for parking, which we have never done in the past.
- antoinette (8/5): - Clean, safe, pretty good breakfast Parking fees

- Luis (4/5): - Hotel cómodo y bien ubicado Habitación con instalaciones viejas, especialmente el baño. No hicieron la habitación. Precio carísimo a pesar de ser fechas de graduación.

- Michael (9/5): Great place to stay! - The staff is very welcoming. Nyla and Mr. Willis were wonderful to talk with! Food, movies, shopping, and Planet Fitness all in walking distance. Pool was closed and it wasn't mentioned on the site. And, there was no popcorn in the sundry. 😄

- Kiernan (7/5): - Had a beautiful room and great options for breakfast. The pool was closed the entire time we were there they told us on three separate occasions that it would be open at a certain time and never opened the whole time we stayed.

- Ahmed (9/5): niec - good non
- Shannon (8/5): I would stay again. Mostly because of the staff. - The staff was amazing, super friendly. I feel like customer service is a thing of the past and most businesses do not care. Your staff was top notch and wanted to make sure we were happy checking in, checking out, at breakfast and when we came back from dinner. The pool area seemed a little run down. I also felt like there was too much chlorine. My son started choking and had to get out at one point after multiple coughing fits. My eyes burned and I wasn’t even in the pool.
Also the bed skirt for lack of words looked dirty on both beds. I also felt like their mattresses are ready to replace.
- Ahmed (10/5): very good - very good non
- Roy (1/5): - Location It’s pretty old and out dated
- Richard (1/5): - Staff are not helpful. My room was double booked and they charged me twice then told me to dispute the charge through my bank.
- annjanetted2019 (8/5): Be wary of all the teams that stay here. Some are disrespectful - Didn’t like the one elevator being shut down in the morning while everyone is trying to leave. Ik it can’t be helped all the time but it was a horrible experience waiting 30 mins while children were riding up and down the elevators . Not to mention they told my family to take the stairs while we were standing there with a whole cart with luggage.
- Kevin (7/5): - The people, the breakfast and the room were great. It was very disappointing that the pool was closed for our entire stay. No apologies were made for the inconvenience, in fact, one of the staff almost considered it a joke. When traveling with children, a pool is one of the primary considerations in choosing a hotel!

- WilsonTorenda (10/5): Great Business Trip experience. Much improved over the last year. - My check-in process was fast and online. The parking options were great. I chose the lot, but next time, if it is snowing, I will choose the parking garage option. The room was clean. Breakfast had a lot of variety to choose from and was good. They have a restaurant, so if you don't want to go out to get dinner, you have options to stay in and eat. The staff was polite and accommodating.
- Carin (8/5): Perfect for us ! - It was great for what we needed. We were flying out early morning from the Capital-region airport .
- T8463VJamandap (10/5): Relaxing Stay - The hotel was overall very clean and enjoyable. Front lobby is welcoming. Our room was inviting and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed there being a bar and restaurant on site and the complimentary breakfast offered more than the typical.

- nkesea2021 (10/5): Phenomenal experience that is worthy to advertise as this place is one of the best 👌 ever. - Excellent place to visit and will be happy to go back whenever God Almighty makes ways for me when there is no way
- Michael (7/5): - The room was nice. Hotel was clean. Staff was rude to my wife. Girl at the front desk was worried more about talking to a cowork than taking my wife coffee order rite.
- mrstomlinson1D (2/5): Hidden Parking Charge - Hotel was fine but be aware that there is a $10 charge for parking, not just in the garage but they are claiming that the parking lot across the street from them also belongs to them and they charge for it.
- Sandeep (9/5): Good - Room
Location Breakfast spread
- Jeremy (7/5): Will choose a different place next time - Location
Room was comfortable Parking fee and the reason provided
Although the room was comfortable- it was very dry and drafty
Listed as $140 on bookings.com and total was $200…
- Deanna (10/5): Our stay was great - Staff was super nice, room was very clean and comfortable. Pool was great Everything was great!

- eni2026 (6/5): Good hotel, not so good parking option - The hotel is good, but the charge for paying $10/night for parking was ridiculous, considering the hotel sits adjacent to a huge parking lot in a commercial area.
- Kelsey (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable beds. The staff were amazing! We checked in late and they were right at the front desk ready to greet us and help! The staff were so incredibly friendly!
- Pamela (9/5): Pleasant - Friendly staff. Size of room great. Breakfast great. Charged to park.
Hair not cleaned out of shower

- keary (10/5): - I like the rooms a lot...I like the later check out... I would like the breakfast window to be extended to like 10:00.... 6:30-9:00 means you need to get up rather timely or early to get breakfast.....

- Mantovani Fontana (10/5): O hotel está bem localizado, próximo a mercados, restaurantes e aeroporto. Quarto confortável. - Boa localização, conforto e limpeza do quarto.
- lostonabeach (10/5): Great hotel on Lansing! - I really enjoyed my stay here. Great staff, super clean, and a perfect location. Plus a great steakhouse right across the street!
- carrieb345 (4/5): My trip was GREAT but the hotel experience was not. - The room was nice but the bedding was not great and the pillows were disappointing. I was told on check-in that a card I was given would let me park in a 'structure' next door and avoid the $10 charge...OR I could park in one of the few spots in the front. That is what I chose and was surprised to find a $10 a day parking charge for using ANY 'self-parking' spot....even across the street! I don't like feeling taken advantage of. I travel a lot and there are a lot of nice hotels in this price range that don't act like you are an annoyance. I won't be back.
- Renae (10/5): - Decent breakfast, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Bathroom could use better lighting or makeup mirror.
- vickybO3626GL (10/5): Work and Family - Everyone at the Hotel is very professional and helpful. A special thank you to Ashley, Claudia, Tracy and Emily for always helping out when we needed anything. . We were always greeted when we came into the Hotel. They made our long term stay very comfortable. It is very clean and comfortable and a great location. We would recommend this Hotel to anyone!
- Jasmine (10/5): Wish we had gone here first. Amazing hotel. Great location. Clean. - The breakfast was warm and fresh, we saw food being replaced often, and the bar was attended to. It wasnt just doughnuts and coffee so i was super happy to see that. Beds where warm and clean, shower and bathrooms where nice. View was AMAZING.
- Bruno (10/5): -
- Sue (9/5): Very good!! - Great location! Surrounded by great restaurants and an outdoor mall. Close to freeway. Clean, modern everything you need.
- Nicholas (10/5): Very pleasant, if I had to book in a similar situation, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I booked last minute with only a few hours notice and the staff answered my questions and check in quickly. N/A
- Latonya (9/5): Stay was pleasant - Nice clean and area location good.

- marjoriee460 (10/5): Check in was easy, the rooms clean and the staff are gracious. - I highly recommend this Hyatt, the staff are wonderful, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. In particular, Mr. Willis, Tracey at the front desk and the ladies at the hotel restaurant/bar were exceedingly kind.
- Rodney (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Jennifer (8/5): Friendly staff and cool, decorated lobby. Spacious rooms - So many restaurant options No shop. Breakfast wasn’t great
- Art (10/5): Very lovely, great place to stay! - Breakfast was hot and delicious! Lots of great items! Rooms were very comfortable and bathroom was spacious for two. Extra charge for parking.
- Linda (10/5): -
- Alexander (8/5): Clean, comfortable and well maintained. - Good food...nice variety, fresh. Everything was great.
- Nerijus (10/5): - Everything was fine Paid parking lot
- Cynthia (9/5): -
- Randall (8/5): -
- ANTHONY (8/5): Good stay - Clean hotel in a good location Parking they should tell you that it is public parking across the street but they did not mention it they only indicated it was 10.00 to park at the hotel per night
- Craig (6/5): - Small fitness area. The hotel was not as clean as desired. Staff was courteous and helpful. In the rooms, the shower pressure was low and the closet space was minimal. Not as comfortable for two people. Mattress was well-used and too warm.
- Alexander (10/5): - The room was nice, but it was not ready at 3pm for our check-in.
- Donald (10/5): -
- Samantha (10/5): Clean Cozy Place to Stay! - Ver clean room with tons of room. Check in was super simple. Good breakfast! Nice bar/lounge area too!
- three-lok (8/5): Positive Visit, Negative Charging Experience - My stay at Hyatt Place Lansing - East was great in many respects. The staff was friendly and efficient, and they did an excellent job keeping up with the high demand at the breakfast bar, ensuring there were always fresh items available even with the hotel at full capacity. However, I was very disappointed that the advertised EV charging stations were not working. This was a significant inconvenience and the only major negative of my visit.
- WilsonTorenda (8/5): Better this time. Always cooperative staff. - This time, it was clean, comfortable, and had attentive staff. During this stay, I was disappointed that they did not refill the dispenser for shower gel; however, I was fortunate to have brought my own shower gel. On my last stay here, I was given a handicap room right next to the entrance and exit to the parking garage, so I heard slamming of a door all day and night. They should adjust the closure. My last room back in the spring needed a little more cleaning, especially in the bathroom. It also smelled like a pet and had a damp, mildew smell. The staff attempted to address the issue to the best of their ability by cleaning the carpet the next day after my check-in and spraying air freshener on the first day. However, this time, the 3rd-floor room was much cleaner and quieter.
- Diane (6/5): - No dishes in cupboard, and air conditioner didn't work
- James (10/5): - Great location, Shops and wal-mart is close
- Amy (10/5): - Easy Access
- Maria (10/5): - Staff was kind easy to find the place
- Katherine (10/5): - Very friendly staff from check in to check out Would definitely stay again.
- tradinaw (2/5): Bed Bug Hyatt - Hyatt has gone done in recent months. They have bed bugs and vomit stains in the rooms. I recommend no one stay there until they fix there bed bugs problems and remove stained furniture.
- Erika (10/5): -
- carrie (8/5): - Overall the stay wasn’t bad, did not enjoy being placed in a room right next to he parking garage door as you can hear everyone coming and going.
The room was mostly clean except you can tell the room had not been vacuumed in quite some time, I did find a blue morphine pill on the floor, near the bed, that could’ve been hazardous. It was quickly flushed down the toilet.
There was leftover decoration tape on the walls
The day was enjoyable, however housekeeping needs to do better
- Ankit (6/5): Nice - Nice & Big hotel in nice shopping location Paking in seperate buiding which is paid
- David (10/5): - Very nice, easy parking, wish it had a hot tub.
- Travis (10/5): - They had a problem with the room and addresses the issue right away and got me in a new room.
- Daniele (10/5): - Really great stay. Very well maintained and service was outstanding.
- David (10/5): - I surprised and disappointed about a new policy of charging 10 dollars a day for parking for people staying at the hotel.
- Oliver (9/5): -
- Jmart122014 (10/5): Great Stay - Solid stay at the Hyatt. Easy quick checkin experience. King room was spacious and clean. Would recommend for a stay in the Lansing area!
- Doris (8/5): - I thought the room would be nicer than it was. The parking should be free with the hotel stay.
- Lisa (10/5): - amazing !!! love the space of the room and bathroom !! Staff outstanding !!
