I loved how helpful the staff were, the laundry room was easy to use once I got some help. I liked the breakfast. And the location was pretty good. I do wish they had dinner.
- Young (8/5): Overall, it was a good value for a short business stay, but the bathroom safety and design need improvement. - Location was convenient, the room was clean, and the overall environment was quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was dark, and the bathtub/shower area felt unsafe. The tub was extremely slippery, with no grab handle or anti-slip mat provided. In addition, the shower glass only covered half of the tub, so water splashed all over the bathroom floor, making it even more slippery and uncomfortable to use. It was difficult to fully relax during the stay.

Une seule toilette au rez de chaussée et pas toujours propre. Le système des ascenseurs qui ne permet pas l accès à d’autre étage. Trop mal entretenu s agissant des peintures et boiseries. Immeuble sinistre. Offre câble télé très limité. Compte tenu de la grandeur du self les machines à café devraient être réparties.

- Christian (9/5): Amazing stay at Shilla, in Ulsan downtown, the location is very convenient! - Shilla Stays are a great institution in Korea. You know what to expect and that you'll be satisfied. The rooms have a good design and are comfortable. The space is studied so that it doesn't feel to small or too big. The Panoramic city view was very enjoyable! The breakfast is very typical of Shilla Stay and was wonderful! Rooms need a little refreshing I believe this is where it lost it's 4th star at this location. Nothing bad to report though, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

- Jefferson (10/5): Comfortable stay in quiet Ulsan - Staff is friendly, room is very clean. The staff knows some english, so tourists are able to communicate with the staff. There is a breakfast buffet option which is quite delicious (23000 won). Travellers are able to leave the luggage with the front desk if they reached before the check in time. Extremely small minor comment --- There is a good washer and dryer in the hotel (5F), but it will be good to bring a translator with you to help translate the Korean words on the machines. Other than that, all is good. :)

- Verified traveler (4/5): Many Things Changed since 5 years ago - We had 2 rooms. 1 room had 2 dressing gowns other room none. 1 room had a remote control cover other didnt. 1 room had a dirty bed with hairs and previous occupants half drank pocari sweat. Other room had sheets with marks. Parking cost 5000 krw per car for 1 night. Other local hotel with similar or better standard does not charge for parking. Tired place now after 5 years. Choose other hotel. Check in and check out was not a smooth process. Note I dont normally leave reviews. I think this is my 2nd review ever.

- Miki (4/5): - First, staff was friendly and helpful. Spoke English well. Rooms were fine. Smaller than expected compared to the hotel next door. Lobby furniture looks as though it was pick up from the sidewalk that someone threw out. The sofa was ripped up and just needed to be thrown out. There was also a smell in the lobby that was really bad. Like sewer backed up. It’s a very family oriented guests. At breakfast, it was filled with families with small children. Definitely not the business hotel as advertised.

- Damian (7/5): Lovely hotel but lack of aircon spoils it. Amazing breakfast. - The staff and breakfast were absolutely top notch, one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Good location, nice and central. Gym was well equipped. The air-con was switched off overnight, with the result that on my first night, after a very long flight, I couldn't sleep at all as the room was at 26degC, despite my setting at 20degC. I called the reception to suggest it might be broken, they told me they'd turn it on at 8am, not much use in the middle of the night when you're lying on your sheets sweating profusely! For my floor (6th), only one of the three lifts was available for that floor which meant some VERY long waits for the lifts at busy times like breakfast.

- Tourist793380 (4/5): Poor service - Poor service. The parking was far and dirty. We were not even informed to unload the luggage in front of the hotel, hence we had to pick our luggage from the parking which was filled with water to hotel Lobby. Such reputed hotel could not have guidance to their guest or have assistance for luggage if they didn’t have parking. Moreover we were asked to wait for check in since there was a queue though the waiting was not much, if they know that hotel has booking could they have not called asked for arrival and kept the check in ready. Such expensive hotel and very poor planning and management. Can do much better to improvise experience for their guest.
