Guest Reviews
- Laity (8/5): Clean, spacious, right on the main highway. - The staff was friendly upon my arrival. the room was clean and spacious. The air conditioner was efficient but not noisy. The room was quiet and easily accessible. I was missing bath towels and had to dry off with a hand tower. There was no breakfast included. Seems like the Inn is understaffed. i hope the pool is open next time I come.
- Fatima (7/5): Overall, good experience and would recommend to someone needing a place to stay. - Pretty easy to get to The Heritage Inn. Was clean for the most part and did include everything one needed for a comfortable stay It would take a bit long for the person at the front desk to attend to you. Seemed like they were always else where.
- Tim (10/5): Excellent hotel, very enjoyable stay. - Nice clean rooms, excellent employees. Na
- Anthony (10/5): - Everything about it but could have been a little cheaper Price was a little high
- Matthews (3/5): The last resort - It was clean The room was very cold.It took a long time to warm up.
- Kim (6/5): - Clean rooms. Friendly staff Beds are very hard
- Reyes (7/5): -

- sue (6/5): It was a clean and comfortable place to stay when I needed to stop driving. - I was on a road trip and simply needed a place to sleep. It was the only accommodation within 20 miles, and I needed to stop driving so the location was fine. It was clean and functional. I didn't love the traffic noise.
- Dejuan (7/5): -
- Wingard (5/5): Basic - Mostly clean, had heat and air. No breakfast. A hard bed, a lousy shower, no hot water.
- david (8/5): adequate for the price and area- very clean and maintained - location as close as was available to neighboring town
room and furniture clean, no scratches on walls
plenty of hot water, good shower head
small toilet (seat)- good thing I am not overweight...
bedside clock not working, was replaced without problem large holes in parking lot pavement, would expect repairs after frost ends next spring
- Brittany (5/5): It’s a place to sleep. - The location was convenient to everything! There was no staff. Had to wait a while for check in due to someone being in office and not caring that someone was at the window. Not to mention all the warnings stating to not leave your belongings in the room and all the extra charges they tack on if they see this that or whatever going on.
- Sue (8/5): - The property was very clean and quiet! Was able to get a good night sleep! They do not have the breakfast that they say they offer on the website!
- Gene (9/5): 1st time - Compfy room. Easy access. Dated. No breakfast.
- Eserene (4/5): - Hot water Bathroom not clean
- Kylie (10/5): Enjoyed my stay - Perfect location for our stay
- Bruce (9/5): -
- Christy McDaniel (5/5): - The room was clean and decent.. heat and air worked.. The bed was really rough to sleep on.
- Niall (8/5): Good value. Clean and comfortable room. - Good value. Clean and comfortable room.
- Joyce (2/5): - Made reservation for king size room & they refused. The hotel states Pet Friendly but they forced me to take a double bed room & refused to refund my money or give me a discount. I showed my papers for a service dog & they still refused so i felt forced to stay. Lady was extremely rude! The room had roaches so bad we had to go buy bug spray. I would have just been happy getting a refund & going elsewhere but the lady flat out refused so it was a miserable 3 days. This hotel advertisement is VERY deceiving! It's definitely NOT Pet Friendly, the pool has weeds growing on top of the liner & the roaches are horrible. The people running the hotel are very rude & they double charged me for they room that they forced me to take. Absolutely horrible hotel. Will never stay there again. I believe the photos for the hotel are photo shopped. The hotel looked nothing like it appeared online.
- Jennifer (10/5): Would go back. Very clean - It was very clean It was all great. Nothing bad to say
- Chasity (10/5): - It's was ok stay safe and quiet
- Stacey (8/5): - For the price and location, the room was clean and comfortable. Nice recliner. No extras no breakfast, closed pool, and no lobby. If you’re looking for affordability and clean room no extras, it’s for you.
- Tammy (10/5): Very satisfied with my stay. - Clean very nice room. A car on property on car jacks without tires.
- bobby joe (10/5): -
- Deborah (8/5): - It was clean. All staff was very nice. Lack of electrical outlets. There was a desk but no outlets on that wall.
- Lumpkin (10/5): -
- Patricia (2/5): No, no no - It said it had a swimming pool and breakfast to served when we got there they said the pool was closed and has been closed for a while and no breakfast is being served at this time. The bed was so hard it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The bathtub had hair all over the shower walls. I will never stay there again.
- Lindsay (7/5): Decent place for what it is. - room Was clean and beds were fine. Only hotel in the town. Breakfast area had been shut down and pool was not opened this year. We didn’t book this place for either of those, so it didn’t affect our stay, but it certainly wouldn’t have made it better.
- William (4/5): - Did not offered breakfast as advertise by Expedia. The swimming pool was permanently closed. Didn’t get the room I requested, king size bed, instead was given a double bed room. Roaches were spotted in the bathroom and several other insects inside the room.
- Alex (7/5): - AC worked really well. Shower worked and bath worked like it should. Beds were comfortable and were always maintained. Refrigerator was overpowered, froze everything that was kept inside, including milk for a toddler. Tried adjusting the dial inside but it came off. I tried telling the front desk and was told "what do you want us to do about it"p
- Roxan (6/5): - Its ok
- Clara (10/5): - Good location next to Walmart for all shopping. Gas stations and hot food also nearby.
- Don (6/5): - It was ok, I did not want a pool or breakfast which was advertised which was good because neither were available.
- Clara (10/5): Exceptional - Heritage Inn is my go to when I'm traveling and need to stay over. Friendly environment and service.
- Miguel (10/5): Glad I made it. - Easy to find.
Comfortable.
Affordable. Shower curtains, I guess.
- Pamela (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lorraine (6/5): - The room was clean. Exterior needs work. Advertised included breakfast but breakfast was not available. Fine for just a sleep and leave type stop.
- Kim (9/5): Superb - The room was nice very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also very nice
- Tammy (9/5): Superb - The hotel is clean and close to town. We have stayed several times.
- Lydia (10/5): - hotel bed is awful, as harder then the floor. But the hotel service people are nice. Parking is plenty. It's also located just blocks from downtown where there's a theatre and restaurants and quaint little shops. It's maybe 5 mins from gas stations, more restaurants, and a Walmart. Overall, it's a nice safe place to stay for a couple of nights. AC keeps the room cold and it has nice hot showers. Coffee maker is in the room but no hair dryer.
- Luckett (9/5): Superb - Very clean rooms The price is a little expensive
- Daniel (6/5): - Beds are uncomfortable
- Destiny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (10/5): - I had a great night sleep! The room was clean and fresh.
I will stay again if I am back in the area.
- Jonathan (10/5): - It was so nice and peaceful, very clean
- Utley (8/5): Very good -
- Patt (8/5): One of the pluses of traveling backroads instead of interstates--very quiet and clean. - Easily found, right off Hwy 70 and a short distance from town. Not exactly on the beaten track but the room was wonderfully quiet because of that. The room and bathroom were notably very clean, above the normally expected level and appear to have been recently updated (vinyl floors, etc.). Exterior of motel is old fashioned and cute, well maintained. Downtown Huntingdon is quaint and deserves a quick stop. Breakfast (continental or "hot") isn't offered. Not a deal breaker, as they appear to have the facilities for one, but a sign said it wasn't "currently" available.
- Ed (6/5): - Clean room. Helpful staff. The main problem was no breakfast. Apparently there are no plans to resume breakfast anytime soon.
- Stefanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sedarious (1/5): Bad - Nothing The guy checked me in and stole my debit card info! I woke up the next day to see 6 charges on my account!
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Patrick (10/5): - A wonderful pla e
- James (8/5): - Sounding fencing and grounds looked ruff!
- Amanda (10/5): Good stay in Huntington - No frills motel with friendly staff and easy check in. The rooms are clean and quiet. I stay here regularly when I'm in town visiting family.
- Rick (8/5): - Price was reasonable, clean , staff friendly. I only gave three/four stars on some things because one of the reasons I chose this property was for the POOL and the 90degree night we wanted to go in, we found out it was closed , dirty , cover still on not functional at all 😤 should not advertise pool if it don’t work.
- David (2/5): - Roaches crawling on the ceiling, I had to leave due to possible infestation where there’s two there is more !
- Lori (2/5): Choose one of the local Air B&Bs instead - The location was close to our job site. Room was ok. Even though internet sites, including the Heritage Inn site, say there is breakfast and a pool, there isn't. The lobby where breakfast would be is closed off. The pool was completely empty in June when it was very hot out. Our boss booked it through another site. She went to the hotel the day before our arrival to pay for it in person and was told she had to wait for us to get there. We arrived during the night and we were charged the payment. They would not refund us and recharge her. Very difficult to deal with. They blamed one another for the problem.
- Rebecca (1/5): DO NOT STAY at this pricey flea bag hotel. They are too cheap to cool the room for guests. - The website shows a pool picture, so we booked there. The pool was not open in July. We had reservations yet the AC had been turned completely off in the room in July. We got in the room at 11 pm and it was hotter than HELL. It would take 3 hours to cool that room off. We left. Found another hotel at half the price. The place is a dump, a real flea bag. DO NOT stay at this flea bag motel. The booking site should not boast things that are not operational at the motel, like the pool. If the site reflects a continental breakfast, they do offer that either.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Turner (8/5): Very good - Very clean, friendly staff, centrally located for where we needed to go. Booking.com showed continental breakfast, which is no longer offered
- Ranesha (1/5): Bad -
- Mike (4/5): Wouldn’t stay there again. Worth the drive to go somewhere else. - Location The entry door wouldn’t close completely. We changed rooms but it had the same issue. These gaps were large enough that bugs or small rodents could fit through.
- Donna (2/5): - Nothing
- sharon (8/5): - Pleasantly surprised by cleanliness. Would stay again.
- Kimberly (4/5): - Evidently our door had been busted into in the past. We had to lift up on the door to lock it, extremely hard to unlock after that. There was a wide gap at the top, probably an inch. At night if you go out to smoke watch your surroundings, seemed very unsafe! Person walked up to our vehicle then walked away (after seeing us standing there) into the woods next to it. We even wedged a chair under the door with our gun next to the bed for protection. No blow dryer is available, bathroom door drug across floor when opening.
- Danna (8/5): - Older hotel but very recently updated. Housekeeping lax. Hotel owners very accommodating.
- Charles (5/5): Decent - No comment ms N/A
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (8/5): - It was fine for the price
- Lois (8/5): - Sheets were stained so it kinda freaked me out that they weren’t clean. Then I noticed the bath rug was stained and I relaxed. They were very clean. You should get rid of the stained linens.
- Clara (9/5): Superb - Close to everything.
- Joe (6/5): - The room had several problems that need to be fixed. Such as, bathtub stopper did not work, the AC/Heater cover would fall off when touched, AC had a broken piece of plastic that was sharp sticking out of the top making it a safety hazard for my grandkids, the toilet would not flush properly and the handle would stick and it would continue to run. No breakfast of any kind was offered. I do not think my stay was worth $92 a night.
This motel seemed to be geared toward the male working class.
- Robert (7/5): TN - Good for small town. On the edge of no where
- Miller (7/5): Good - Peacefulness The bed
- James (4/5): Scary - Checked in late and they didn’t have my reservation. Got to room and there were stains on the sheets. Weird people walking out by the pool area in the winter time. Only good thing about the place was their showers.
- M (10/5): Perfect - They are right off of the town court square, and at the by-pass exit , so it is 2 minutes to most everything in town. They keep their property quiet and clean. They keep repairs and remodels up in their rooms. They have nice clean floors, cold refrigerators , big TVs, fluffy pillows , and crispy - fresh towels and washcloths. The rooms smell fresh. The heat/AC units work great. The shower is strong with fixtures in good repair and they have plenty of quck-heating hot water. There is always someone available to check you in. (We stay there quite often, because I grew up in that town, but live away now. ) They are very personable. They have a nice outdoor pool in the summer. We love to stay with them. And this is our experience from multiple stays.
- Richard (8/5): overall, quiet, clean and really quite nice - Nice place, the rooms appear to have been recently renovated, it was very nice. woulkd have been nice if they had breakfast available, but theroom did have a coffee maker.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceed my expectations - Was easy to get to and from. Clean
- Alvin (8/5): Very good - The facility has been renovated and is much improved over past visits. 0 Did not have breakfast.
- Clara (10/5): Exceptional - Always good customer service
- Albert (9/5): Superb -
- Johnny (7/5): Good -
- Jeannine (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): Only place to stay when in the area! - I’ve been staying here for many years when I visit family in the area. Very close to town but very quiet also. Since the new owners took over in 2020 they have been updating and it’s coming along nicely! I choose this place over the hotels in Camden because of the friendly owners, close to town for your needs but quiet, and the beds always give a good nights sleep. Very clean and comfortable for the family or just when it’s the wife and I. Would highly recommend!!
- Diane (7/5): Good - Not aware of breakfast being available.
- John (7/5): Good - N/A Pool not open
- Amy (4/5): Only good for a place to sleep - The room itself was clean. The people running the place wasn't very friendly. There wasn't any breakfast served and also the pool was closed and they didn't mention that. Half the TV channels didn't even pick up.
- Mandy (6/5): Should not advertise something you don’t have/offer - Clean,AC worked well Pool is main picture featured but it is closed, also says they have breakfast but they did not
- John (8/5): - Room and bath clean. Both cleaned after 1st day of stay as well. A/c worked well, room stayed cool. Light between beds too bright. Outlets for plugging in necessary accessories were limited. Good TV reception. Missed having king-size bed as requested due to renovations but 2 queens were fine. But beds are almost too high for short people!
- Donald (4/5): Disappointing - did not have breakfast, all of it.
- Steven (6/5): - Remodeled room was nice and quiet. However the main door to the room was warped and didn't seal out the heat very well.
- Clara (9/5): Quiet. Friendly customer service. - They have not opened the reception area for hotel patrons to have breakfast. Hotel staff hanging hotel bedding on the fence of the pool area to dry rather than using the hotel's dryer in the laundry room.
- Lynn (1/5): Didn't clean the room at all! Never changed the sheets. Our stay was for 6 nights - Not a thing!
Was the Worse place I've ever stayed, half of what they advertised they didn't have! Everything!
- Michael (4/5): Disappointing - They advertised a breakfast/brunch in lights but had none…
- Kiesha (8/5): - They have upgraded the rooms, but the beds are not comfortable at all. The new floors and painted walls were nice since it hasn't been changed in like forty years.
- Ashley (10/5): - I was in one of the updated rooms and absolutely loved my stay. This was the comfiest bed I have ever slept on in a hotel! I'll definitely be staying here again next time i head out that way.
- Kenneth (5/5): one of the few motels in the area, - convenient location dated, needs a update remodel. No breakfast provided.
