• Gabriela (7/5): - Das Casa Real liegt gleich um die Ecke vom Zocálo, als wunderbar zentral. Es eignet sich bestens als Stopp bei der Durchreise von Puebla nach Oaxaca. Am nächsten Tag lohnt sich ein Abstecher in das Reserva Biosfera (Jardin Botánico Helia Bravo Hollis) inkl. dem pueblito Zapotitlán oder auch Besuch von "salinas".

• Sergio De Jesus (9/5): Buen lugar, céntrico y tranquilo - Siempre hay buen trato por parte del personal y el apoyo a solicitar un piso en particular, cercano a su gimnasio Las camas siguen siendo un problema, son algo incómodas. Durante la estancia hubo un sismo, el cual fue considerable y el hotel no realizó inspecciones, no hubo punto de reunión ni indicaciones por parte del personal, solo los huéspedes nos apoyamos y vimos que era lo mejor en el momento.

• Patrick (5/5): Not worth it. - Central hotel in the heart of Tehuacán with free parking. Good breakfast, attentive personnel. Very noisy hotel. People talking in the hallways till deep in the night or early morning. You can hear everything! Also loud humming noise from airco’s the whole night. The bed was very hard. Furniture has seen better times. Amenities (soap) low quality.

• Roger (9/5): Nice hotel in a friendly town - Well located in the centre of town. Other than the male receptionist, who was rather officious at check in, all the staff were lovely. Nice big room, in which everything worked well. The breakfast (not included) was very good, although if you accept the offer of a second coffee you will be charged for it! No outdoor space to sit and relax, but not a major issue.
• Claudio (8/5): Good location with private parking - Staff were very friendly and helpful. When we were there I don’t think they had many guests and were eager to serve. The showers were good and WiFi worked well. They have their own parking underneath the hotel. The restaurant lacks ambience and is not really inviting, but that’s not a big problem add there are many others close by.

There was a porter who we paid to help us. Very nice and helpful man. We do not eat breakfast. So a free breakfast has no value for us and is likely included in the room price. There were only two pillows for a king bed. So had to request more.

• Whistler (7/5): A sort of "meh" hotel with so much potential - The location was great. The hotel was quiet. Towels and bed linens were great.. the attention, while not happy happy, was adequate. The room was clean and felt spacious enough. -Would be so easy to make potable water available for guests - they don't. It would be more understandable if this were an $8usd hostel.. but then, even the hostels usually spend the 1 peso per customer to offer this amenity. -They take towels and then replace them hours later instead of just swapping them at cleaning (so don't go out and expect to come back and bathe midday) - I would love to not have my towels replaced at all during a 2 night stay. -Bed was pretty marginal / hard.. -TV didn't work (don't know if batteries or TV) -Two huge patios that would be great social spaces .. NO SEATING (one tiny bench on one of them to be fair) -They don't have a listing in Google Maps -Since your card must be plugged in in order to have electricity (the entire room, not just the AC), you can forget about leaving your devices charging or - in our case - living with lights if your partner wants to go out while you sleep. This is about as stingy as not providing a station to refill water bottles. -Toilet doesn't flush properly (and no, we weren't flushing anything but bodily substances). It's a 3-flusher, indicating the drains and tubes are probably caked with decades of hard water deposits.. -Little plastic basket in the sink drain so covered w/ slime we had to remove it and set it aside. -Very weird ironing board we thought was broken, but there are some old-fashioned hooks you're supposed to install it on . This one was just a labeling issue (something you really need a sign for) -----BTW -- as to the maintenance issues -- like the TV, toilet etc.. -- no, we didn't report them. These are simple issues to test for and correct before a guest has to notice them -- so we just lived with what was more or less adequate lodging - the inconveniences were just that. I'm usually very generous with my reviews, but there were so many little "nuances" that it seemed worth mentioning.
