Guest Reviews
- Comer (10/5): - The staff was so friendly was willing to help you with anything you needed.
- Lenore (8/5): - Great access to the beach and the Discover Trail. Bathroom was clean. Quiet hours were followed. Pets allowed and accommodated for with designated areas and bags/disposal cans. Yurt had lots of cobwebs. Would appreciate more lighting (although it wasn't expected). Couldn't really even read a book inside with the one overhead light. I treated it like camping and thankfully had my camping lamp with me.
- Marguerite (8/5): A great location to hike the Discovery trail. - It was quiet and clean The picture of the cabin shows more privacy. I did not know it would be surrounded by RVs trailers and cars. There was no room to enjoy a private fire pit . Although the van was surrounded by vehicles it was surprisingly quiet. I liked the location and that it was clean and quiet with lots of amenities.
- Aaron (10/5): It was everything and more. - It was so clean and we could walk to the beach. The cabin had everything we could ever need. We will absolutely be back. Everything was great. I honestly dont have anything negative to say
- Victor (10/5): - Being close to the beach
- Brian (10/5): -
- Kelly (9/5): -
- Bingham (9/5): -
- Dye (10/5): Was a very nice, family friendly extended weekend at the camp. - The staff team was amazing.
We camped for 3 days. One day they had a luau, and the other two days they had treasure hunts for the kids and gave out prizes.
The restrooms/showers were immaculate.
The pool and hot tub was a bonus.
Nice walk to the beach from the camp. I cannot think of anything that we did not like.
- MARK (10/5): Above all expectations - Food na Take the old-loud-disruptive forced air hand dryers out. Yurt #1 can hear the noisy process whether the button is pushed 1 time (not enough to dry anything) and the obnoxious multi button push.
Hey, you asked lol
- connie (10/5): We had a good stay - Better bed mattresses.
- Beau (9/5): Pretty Nice - Staff was friendly. Walk to the beach was nice. Beach area was lovely. Yurt was clean and attractive. Kids play area was nice The bathroom was new and surprisingly very nice, and they did a great job taking care of it. Yurt mattresses are uncomfortable (but that's to be expected). Yurts are pretty close together, and there's not really anything that divides the neighboring yurt spaces so it can feel mildly awkward. But we had good neighbors and it wasn't even really a problem.
- Sharon (8/5): A mixed bag, too crowded! - Staff was great, we loved how close this park was to the beach. The facilities were nice, I really liked that they had a small dog park, and there were poop bags available. The extra touches available in the room were appreciated. Plenty of towels and bedding provided, even dog bones & a roll of poop bags. Just a nice touch. Around the cabins the RVs were packed in so tight that it felt claustrophobic. It appears that the area which was originally designed for parking, was ultimately transformed into another RV site. We really didn't like that, and on that basis alone it's unlikely we would stay again. Seems harsh perhaps, but we were unaware that the Thousand Trails membership allows people to actually live there. Some sites were kept very nice, others not so much. Still, the staff was wonderful, the grounds themselves were nice with the exception of how cluttered everything felt. My son has a 42 ft camper and had a hell of a time getting pulled in. Had another camper not moved their vehicle, he may still be trying! (We had just stayed in an RV park in Westport, it was cheaper with a much larger cabin and lots of room for parking.)
- David (10/5): We had a great adventure. - It was friendly, I felt safe and my grandchildren had a great time. The Long walk to the beach.
- Jessica (8/5): - This is a Thousand Trails property and was a great stay. Very clean, kept up and easy access to the beach. The only complaint I have is that RV sites did not have fire pits and have very little space for the price. They squeeze RV's in like sardines.
- Linda (9/5): - The entire place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This campground has something for everyone. The staff is friendly, and the amenities are great.
- Corrie (10/5): - The pool! And the staff were friendly and pet friendly The yurts are fairly close together
- Chevonne (10/5): - Loved how close it was to the beach with private access. Quite and friendly community.
- Walbridge (10/5): - It had so many amenities that I didn't realize when I booked it for the price I paid it was an amazing value. I also love that the pool was heated it was a very nice way to relax at the end of the day and the staff was so accommodating
- Basheh (7/5): Was ok - It was ok For cleaning it must be more cleaning of top ceilings and dusting
- Stanley (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location our kids loved the playground!
- Sabrina (10/5): Exceptional -
- A (10/5): Great place to stay - It was very Quiet and clean
- Achaia (7/5): Good -
- Kayla (9/5): Overall really great place. Affordable, good location, camping without the misery. - The heater could use updating. They said with the season the heater has a hard time keeping up and provided sleeping bags for extra warmth, but I genuinely think the fan in the heater maybe was going out/slower than it should be, so it might have stayed a little warmer if it had a newer heater in there. The sleeping bags really helped though at night. Showers/bathrooms are very nice. Great amenities. Laundry room, playground, pet area, hot tub and pool were even open this time of year. We didn't utilize it, but thought it was neat that we could use them if we had wanted to. My biggest complaint is that the t.v. room didn't open until 9 a.m. (which is where the coffee is located) 9 a.m. is really late for early coffee drinkers. So we had to go track some down in Long beach Needed coffee available earlier and maybe slightly beds were a little hard.
- MICHAEL (10/5): - Staff was excellent and helpful - cabin was very clean - appreciated being upgraded to larger cabin at no extra cost to us, due to low occupancy season - the Wifi connection & availability in the cabin was sketchy & intermittent at best, and the toilet needs some work as it was running all the time
- Cole (1/5): Bad - Location To expensive for very basic room
- Leah (10/5): We’ll be back. Definitely a great stay for all seasons. - It was so fresh and clean, the grounds were well kept. The accessibility was nice, the long term tenants spaces were clean. We liked everything. Maybe an indoor spa or sauna would have been the icing on the cake! We were out clam digging and it was challenging to get warm again. We totally managed . Just thinking of we had an extra luxury what would it have been. Hot tub or sauna.
- Rehart (9/5): Superb -
- Bell (10/5): Loved the location! The yurt was very cozy!! - We did not eat breakfast, the location was amazing and beautiful. The host Todd was absolutely wonderful and went out of his way to be helpful. The heated pool and hottub were a wonderful extra bonus after a long day of exploring. Grateful for the clean showers and the kids loved the playground N/A
- Albertson (9/5): Superb - The location was nice close to town and walking distance from the beach. The yurt was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teri (8/5): Very good -
- Susana (8/5): Such a fun and conveniently located camp site - Property was spacious, fun with many activities available for all the family. There was nothing we didn’t like.
- Chris (10/5): Was a fun restful visit. We sure will return - Loved the warm pool and private camping/park area. The cabin was so cute. We loved having a busy day and coming back to rest and watch tv as a family. Will return!
- Inna (7/5): The queen mattress was very squeaky and uncomfortable. Both me and my husband kept rolling towards each other in the mid - The bathroom sink was not draining properly. It kept getting flooded.
- Inna (8/5): Very good -
- Mitchell (7/5): Good -
- Donald (10/5): Exceptional - The atmosphere was awesome. The neighbors that we had were great. The walk to the beach was a little long for old people. But it was just a great but it was just a great place to stay
- John (6/5): Pleasant - staff office guy comes out whistle and scream im to back the fuck up do not go way was going in there is no sign says one way or exit only
- Lydia (8/5): Very good - The staff were super friendly.
- michael (10/5): - Very comfortable and quiet very close to Pacific Ocean
- Deanna (10/5): - This was a great place to stay, room was clean, and it was really quiet in the mornings.
I will be back for sure, but maybe get the bigger option or a yurt.
- Carol (9/5): Nice peaceful weekend which is exactly what we needed. - The location Campsites are too close together.
- Patrick (7/5): Great stay! - Easy location, close to everything the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer. The space heaters didn’t seem to warm up the yurts very well
- Gwen (5/5): Passable - cabin was to small for us. would of liked a view of ocean. The thousand trails campground seem to have people living in trailers there not just camping for a short time.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - Yurt-incredible, bathrooms-immaculate, beach access- short walk through a small forest was very cute.
- Dolph (9/5): Superb -
- Juaquin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): We had a fun time and met some nice people! We would consider coming back. - The location was great and the staff were very friendly! The closet bathroom facility to our yurt was being remodeled only two showers were available for the whole resort.
- Laurel (10/5): Family friendly glamping - Brand new bathrooms, so nice! We always love staying in their yurts, the staff is always accommodating and easy to talk to, short walk to the beach, nearby food options mean we don't really have to do camp food if we don't want, it's more glamping. The campground is part of a larger organization so the contact number is to their customer service line, and not the actual location. This can be frustrating as they've got limited hours (East coast timezone). After booking, reach out and get the number to the actual location, they are happy to provide it, and from that point forward everything should be golden, but that will help with any day-of issues like late arrival or requests like bedding.
- Erin (9/5): Superb -
- Cynthia (7/5): We booked last minute and were glad to find a place. This was workable and reasonably comfortable as a place to sleep. T - It was close to attractions and relatively quiet. The yurt was quite clean. A little rustic/minimalist for our taste. Close to large groups camping.
- Dale (8/5): Very good -
- Leah (6/5): Family friendly Long Beach, Washington, option that would be good for groups. - The location is nice with easy access to the beach. There is an asphalt path along the beach that can be used by bicycle and foot traffic. There are bathrooms and water readily available and the pool and playground area are family friendly. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. The yurts have nice sturdy furniture and are clean. The park itself is very dusty with no privacy between sites of any kind. We had issues at our yurt with neighboring campers having a lot of guests and filling up the parking area making it difficult for us to have a spot to park.
- Noelle (5/5): Passable -
- Amy (9/5): Very nice place to camp. - We liked the cleanliness and availability of facilities. It was within walking distance of the beach. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied. Campsites are spacious and well maintained. the yurt was very clean and nice. It was a very pleasant stay and we look forward to going back. The fact that our picnic table was taken out of our campsite mid-stay and we had to wait for another one to be brought in was disappointing. The closure of the bathroom during a peak time was unhandy. The dumpster situation needs to be cleared up-it`s not located where it says it is on the map. The available dumpster looks like it`s part of the construction site and is very tall and almost impossible to reach without making a mess.
- Melinda (9/5): Superb -
- Donna (6/5): Too far away from the action - Two crowed inside. Wanted one bed got three
- Ladywilltravel (9/5): Wonderful - The location is very nice ,It is pleasant and relaxing. I loved the dog park. The staff were pleasant and helpful. A camper had a barking dog. It barked 24/7 non stop. The staff couldn't seem to take care
of this situation. It was very irritating.
- Melissa (9/5): Superb -
- Inna (8/5): Very good - Beach within walking distance. Parks to fish nearby. Great experience with the Yurt. No close by showers by the yurt we were renting.
- Cody (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janae (10/5): - We stayed in a cabin. It was fantastic. Staff was very friendly. Short walk to the beach.
- Denice (7/5): Good -
- Dwight (5/5): We liked the yurt, but the resort seems more suited for "regular/return" customers than newcomers. - The staff was pleasant and helpful in answering our questions, when we were able to locate them. When some of our linen and towels were forgotten, the staff corrected that. The yurt was cozy, and we enjoyed having a new experience. We knew we would have to arrive after the office closed, and while in route that day, it was very difficult to reach anyone by phone who could help us. Communication was a major problem and would keep us from booking again.
Also, the hours of the office and lounge were quite limited. The office was not always staffed even during posted hours. We do not feel that the communication, instructions, and availability of staff are well suited for newcomers or guests staying for only a couple of nights.
- Donna (6/5): Pleasant - No breakfast there. Cabin was clean and comfortable and had all basic needs Too many rvs, campers crammed together , no privacy at all! Couldn’t even have curtains open ! For that reason only, would not stay there again.
- Anonymous (5/5): Not at all worth the cost. - the inside of the cabin was nice. it’s basically a trailer park with a lot of run down campers. We didn’t feel comfortable outside of the cabin. surrounded by cars and campers feet from the door on every direction. Pictures are misleading.
- Kim (5/5): No privacy - Like the cabin This was the only cabin that had a rv smack next to our wall could hear generator and couldn't sit on porch had no privacy all the other cabins had space between them and others were empty so not
sure why we got this one
- Courtney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robyn (7/5): Good -
- Alaina (5/5): Passable - The campground was so sm and over full.
- Debbie (8/5): Very good - It was quiet. If we needed anything they were available. Very nice place. I love staying in the yurt. Nothing.
- David (10/5): great stay and I would do this again - Yurt was an interesting way to camp/rest in.
The staff members on site were friendly.
Easy walk to the beach for a stroll and the discovery trail is very cloae. no bbq outside
- Brandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debra (8/5): Interesting - Close to the beach, nothing was far away, easy to get to mattress a little thin,
- Justo (10/5): Exceptional - everything! close to the beach, everything was there, didn’t need to leave for anything other than groceries of course everything was perfect! already looking to book another stay
- Donald (10/5): Enjoyed the Cabin - The location was excellent
It was quiet and peaceful
The Staff are very helpful and nice
The swimming pool was nice The cabin shower could have longer lasting hot water
- Ember (8/5): Very good - Location, close to restrooms, quiet campground. Could've been a little cleaner and it was a bit expensive for what it was.
- Erin (10/5): - Beautiful destination property for families.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Friendly hosts, wonderful pool/hot tub area, laundry clean and easy to access, walking path to beach was pretty and distance from area small towns was great! Campground was very quiet and our cottage was very cozy with everything we needed and very comfortable beds.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful location, cleanliness and staff - We had an amazing time at this campground. From check-in to check-out, Staff were very friendly. The location was great, loved walking to the beach in the mornings.
- Bonnie (8/5): Nice property - Clean, safe location. Cabin was tiny but cute. Perfect for 2 night stay
- Patrick (10/5): fun 4th - great stay, cabin was great, clean, staff was amazing
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay in the cabins. It was super clean, had everything we needed, and the property was quiet. We had such a relaxing stay and are hoping to go back in the summer. The property is about a 5-10 minute walk to the ocean.
- KKittrick (10/5): - Great experience, rented a cabin. Friendly owner and staff, clean and comfortable and relatively quiet for a busy RV park. Will consider again for weekend away.
- Andreas (10/5): - One of the best camping grounds I know of. There is a 3rd party wifi provider, wish they would provide faster connections. Love the horse shoe game spots. Nice pool but no hottub. Awesome staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cabin was cute heavily used found two head size holes in the walls Broken blinds floors weren’t very clean when we showed up. Bathroom light and fan switches were broken. Staff was awesome and even though it wasn’t out of the park it was still nice and we look forward to our next trip.
- Angelique (10/5): Nice “socially-distant” getaway. - I enjoyed being so near the ocean and my little cabin was more than adequate for my needs. Management is great about maintaining quiet hours and very responsive in general.
It did occur to me that the bathroom layout might be a bit cramped for someone especially tall or with a larger frame, since the shower door opens outward but is somewhat blocked by the toilet so it doesn’t open fully. And if you have super long legs they may not fit in the space between the shower door when you sit on the toilet. I’m 5’7 and slender & there wasn’t much room to spare. It wasn’t a problem for me, especially considering the convenience of having a private bathroom. Still, I thought people (like my 6’5 dad) might appreciate the information. (See photo)
Very friendly staff and it was as clean as a campground gets. (Obviously there may be sand on your porch or something, I expect that considering it’s next to the beach.) I’ll definitely return soon.
- Mychal (2/5): - The pictures on website are very decieving. I did not sleep there I ended up staying in a hotel I found myself. I would like a refund
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I liked that it was close to beach and town of Seaview, cost was really high tho for a cabin
- Sherry (10/5): - Very nice property. Nice walking areas. Close to beach. Very clean.
- carrie (2/5): nighmare at the "we are not a resort" - Where to begin... We arrived late Wednesday night. We missed the driveway no lights @ driveway, ended up on the mountain GPS doesn't work there so we drove around till we figured out our mistake. Ok no problem I should have paid more attention. At least we got there before the cut off time.. right? So we ring the bell for the night crew, it's about 845-9pm at this point and we don't get an answer so we waited and waited. I couldn't call anyone because of no service.. No service is to be expected when camping But they do have WiFi, which didn't work. so we waited some more around 945 some random guy came up and asked if we were waiting to check in. I asked if he was the night guy he responded he wasn't and the night guy was at the hospital but he could help us..? He left and came back with keys and we went to our camp. We get in and it's late we're tired and as we walk In there's a smell of wet dirty towels. That smell of when you forgot your towels in the washer overnight? Yeah.. we knew where it was coming from because there were 3 large garbage bags full of dirty towels comforters and stuff! So now it's 1030 and no night guy to get us clean ones so We drive into warrenton Oregon but sleeping bags get back at 4 am. The electrical outlet was broken the bathroom floor in the men's room was covered in urine and tolet paper. Then to top it off I almost got double charged! they tried to say I didn't pay the remaining balance! A few more things but there isn't enough characters
- Lindsay (10/5): Long Beach stay - It was a good stay they just need to inform you that you need bedding
- Rachel (8/5): Love this place, will definitely be back. - This is our 3rd year staying here at the yurts and we LOVE it!!
