Haiping (2/5): - 房間很小，浴室也很擁擠，冷氣忽冷忽熱，很難調溫，電視聲音很小不能控制大小聲，像是在看默劇，住了三天早餐服務人員都是臭臉，還在議論說客人吃的太多，旅館位置雖然在大街上，但是很難叫計程車，我們要趕飛機，請前枱服務人員幫我們叫車，但服務人員態度惡劣，不願意幫我們叫車，大家要想清楚這種旅館能住嗎？👎👎👎

Kin (3/5): The below standard of Xiamen Holiday Inn Express City Centre tarnishes the image of IHG hotel. - RE: Holiday Inn Express Xiemen City Centre. It's a convenient location, many eateries and public transports at the doorsteps and MRT station is about 1km walk away. Breakfast dishes are quite tasty to me though has limited choices. Restaurant dining chairs had lots of stained. No stirrer or teaspoon is provided for coffee making. Room as well no teaspoon and fridge are provided. My first 6nights (from 1/11 to 7/11) the room at 6th floor is quite clean, though corridor carpet and wall had unpleasant stained. Some ladies' receptionists here are less courteous. After my Suzhou trip I returned here for another 2 nights (13/11 to 15/11), this time my room was at 3rd floor, the whole corridor here had very bad stench, I had to hold my breath each time I passed this corridor. When I just checked in my room there had some unpleasant stench as well though not as bad as the corridor, but next day cleaner sprayed some air refresher which helped to get rid the smell of the room. The washroom at the lobby downstair was the worst, the stinky smell is unbearable. I had 6nights(7/11 to 13/11) in Holiday Inn Express Suzhou New District as well. Here, from cleanliness, breakfast to receptionist friendliness is much better than Holiday Inn Express Xiamen City Centre.

Charles (8/5): Could have been so much better - I've stayed at several Holiday Inn Expresses in China. It's generally a very good option in China. This one less so. Good things: Great location, Great housekeeping staff - our housekeeper was amazing, room was big & comfortable. Bad: staff poorly trained, breakfast was so-so, but was often unstaffed, and worst of all, the temperature control in the room doesn't work in the "winter" time. The hotel blasts heat into very room, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. Hot enough to roast a chicken. This is a problem unique to China, many hotels do this, but I thot HI Express would actually care about their customers, but I was wrong

TINA (10/5): 非常推薦住宿的酒店！不管商務或是家庭旅遊都非常適合的！ - 住宿位置非常方便就在東渡碼頭旁！飯店旁邊就是公車站，去哪裡都很便利！然後附近有家非常好吃的水煮三鮮悅來發酒樓～！早餐也好吃多變化！最後一天因為很早的班機離開酒店服務人員還幫我們準備了早餐的餐盒真的很貼心！

Verified traveler (8/5): Nice quick stay - Upon arrival the area appear slightly dirty as there was a smell of sewage as we got out of the cab. However we were greeted by the Hellboy who helped us immmediately with our cases. The check in process waa smooth though check out was a bit more tricky. They're at first unable to located my payment on here and had to reconfirm and canceled the new deposit on my credit card. All in all, the dtaff were very friendly and helpful.
