- Jan (7/5): Ondermaats hotel voor de prijs van een boutique hotel - Free shuttle service van/naar treinstation Ouderwetse kamer die opknapbeurt nodig heeft, sanitair moet vernieuwd worden, douche Onhygienisch, afvoerbuizen maken reutelend lawaai en er hangt een geurtje. Enkele beglazing waarbij het achterraam gebarsten was en uitgaf op een achterkant van een keuken. Dit zou een boutique hotel moeten voorstellen? Buiten de pompeuze inkomhal was daar veder niets van te merken, buiten de exorbitante prijs.
- Marco (9/5): Boutique tibetano di carattere nel cuore di Dukezong, vista suggestiva e ospitalità autentica - Posizione perfetta nella Old Town di Shangri-La con terrazza che guarda il tempio di Guishan, davvero scenografico al tramonto e di sera. Staff caloroso e attento, accoglienza con tè allo zenzero e piccoli gesti che fanno la differenza. Bellissima atmosfera tibetana negli interni, camere confortevoli e spazi comuni piacevoli per rilassarsi dopo le visite. La colazione potrebbe essere migliorata, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la scelta delle opzioni occidentali

- MelC2 (9/5): Great location, friendly staff and comfortable room. - What stood out was the hotel staff, the hotel location, the lobby decor, and the room. Our taxi could not stop in front of the hotel, but the staff came out to help with our luggage right after our driver called them. We were received by their staff with hot ginger tea and white Tibetan scarves. Our room is spacious and comfortable. The bedding and towels were very clean. There was a heater in the shower too. We had a good rest. We also appreciated that they allowed us to chill at the hotel and served us tea while we were waiting for our flight at night. Don't forget to check out the view at their wine bar on the second floor, where you can see the nearby temple in the GuiShan Park. While the hotel was good, it was quite a lot more expensive compared to other places we stayed in the province with similar quality. The breakfast could be better, although they have good coffee, which you don't always get from other hotels or home stays in the area.
- Lesley (10/5): A fine hotel but on the wrong side of town. - Beautiful place with an upstairs terrace with fabulous views of the temples on the hill. Room was not huge but perfectly adequate. Staff were very attentive and ensured we had plenty of ginger tea. Breakfast was excellent. Two niggles. The hotel was a bit off the beaten track, on the wrong side of town. And according to the booking the hotel was supposed to supply free transport to and from the station/airport but in fact they made us pay for transportation when we left.

- Sabrina (8/5): Perfect location in a magical place - Amazing location, very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, rooms are nice & spacious. Went there for Christmas, it’s super cold everywhere, no heating, just open fire places. Bring enough warm cloths!
- Harold (8/5): Great location - The location is fantastic, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The staff was amazing friendly, attentive and always willing to help. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, which added to the stay's enjoyment. Breakfast has enough variety. During winter - when the temperature dropped to -11C - the bathroom gets quite cold, which can be a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, the room is not soundproof so I could hear noises from upstairs, such as footsteps, toilet flushes, and even sneezes, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful environment.

- Kris (10/5): Perfect base for shangri-la city - The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay great. We went at off-peak season and the uncle who works the front desk doubled as our driver for a day. He suggested we go to Na Pai Hai and Songzalin Monastery-- we had a great time at both places, and he gave us a great rate. The staff went to our rooms to serve hot yaks milk the winter night-- perfect way to end the night especially for my niece, who is six years old. Breakfast is also fantastic, highly recommend the fried noodles. Super well located in Shangri-la city. We had lots of big luggage and were traveling with a kid, but the hotel helped us with everything including late-night airport transfer, and recommendations on where to eat in the city. There was nothing I disliked. A fantastic place to stay.

- Chanyuan (10/5): a warm and homey stay. - I like the attentive and warm welcome by 央宗and team. my boys specially like to play with 拉姆 and truly miss her when we leave. we had a good time. the hotel staff was friendly and gave us extra blankets. the room though is not warm enough.
