From the warm welcome at the door, to the beautiful layout of the historic common area, to the clean comfortable and well equipped bedroom- this place had it all. My husband was enamoured by the whiskey bar with over 25 different types of whiskey. Hot breakfast in the morning was delicious. So much to do in the area- shopping, hiking, cycling, historic walking tours, or just sitting and taking in the beautiful scenery. Our only regret was that we couldnāt stay longer. We will be back.

I loved the owners' care and attention to every detail, ensuring that my needs were fully met in every regard. Comfort beyond belief, immense help in finding a perfect outdoor dining spot within walking distance, ample and delicious breakfast prepared exactly to my specifications.... I guess my only complaint is that we were experiencing a cold snap, and I wasn't able to take advantage of the sauna, hot tub, or pool. Next time! Highly recommended!!
