Guest Reviews

- Paul (10/5): - Very nice place. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Good shower and whirlpool tub. Congenial host.
- Relena (10/5): - Comfortable and lovely as ever. Beautifully quiet at night and just across the road from the cycle path.
I felt well cared for while given plenty of space to myself. Everything was great and they were very communicative and lovely to chat with at breakfast. Will stay again as soon as I can.
- Emily (10/5): - Really liked the inn keeper. Great pub down the road. One of our favorite stops
- Andrew (10/5): Lovely B&B - Lovely bed and breakfast perfect base for snowdon, zip world and waterfall walks breakfast was spot on and Bryan was the perfect host we will be back next year
- Melissa (8/5): - Comfy bed in an airy room with separate jet shower and bath facilities. Quiet location and good breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay - Can see why it's been so warmly reviewed in the past! A very comfortable stay and we were well looked after. The review format asked for echo-friendliness so had to mark down a little for the use of small plastic bottles in the bathroom and the individual packaged portions of butter, jam, sugar and salt at breakfast. It's a difficult balance between freshness and disposable containers.
- Joy (10/5): Pant Teg - Brain is a lovely man .Very helpful ect All good very handy for Bangor to visit family so all good
- Lisa (10/5): - Stayed here as it was perfect location for Zip World (10 mins away) Spotless throughout. Lovely little touches everywhere. Amazing breakfast and a superb host who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Thanks Bryan. We will be back definitely ๐
- Jack (10/5): Great stay - Great stay and great service. Would recommend and would stay again
- Rochelle (10/5): Excellent B&B - We were made to feel very welcome.
The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent.
Brian was very helpful and friendly.
Looking forward to having the opportunity to go back again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Pleasant enough stay in the self catering cottage. Bryan replied to query re poor TV reception but unresolved during our 3 day stay. Oven in need of a clean.
Good location.
- Gary (8/5): - As advertised. Enjoyed our stay.
- Rachel (10/5): - What a gem of a place! We were made to feel very welcome and at home by Bryan from the moment we arrived. There was great communication beforehand. We had special diets, which was absolutely no problem at all and he happily catered for a vegan and a coeliac (who's allergic to milk) and the food was lovely! The whole place was very clean and tidy and every little detail thought about. It was a beautiful, quiet area and a lovely place to return to for a much needed rest after a busy day!
Thank you Bryan for a wonderful stay .... next time we are in North Wales we will definitely be back for another stay
- Alison (10/5): - Great host, good comfortable and clean room, Brilliant cooked breakfast
- Benjamin (10/5): - A wonderful place to stay for a few nights. Great breakfast and conversation with the owner!
- Yoke (10/5): - Very helpful host
- Joy (10/5): - Lovely little B&B, welcoming and friendly. Personal touch. Great breakfast.
- Darren (10/5): - Lovely friendly guy would stay again very helpful.
- Katie (10/5): Little Cottage Stay - We stayed in the self catering cottage at the rear of the B&B. We were pleasantly surprised as the pictures do not do it justice. Everything we needed was provided for and Bryan was very helpful.
The little seating area for the cottage was a surprise, maybe a little fence around the perimeter would help make it look more cosy.
A lovely stay and we would definitely visit again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Gem found in the Welsh mountains - Lovely stay. Excellent modern bathroom. Jacuzzi bath and shower.
- Rahul (10/5): Peaceful and comfortable stay, amd very kind host. - From check-in to checkout, it was a smooth process. Brian was very kind and connected with us prior to our arrival to be available during check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. Couple of water bottles, cookies, and tea/coffee available in the room for use, replenished every day. Breakfast was warm and filling, with a variety of options. Will definitely book again, if travelling to this part of Wales again. Thanks Brian, for your hospitality. ๐๐
- Sonia (10/5): A credit to the owners - We arrived earlier than expected and the proprietor greeted us and checked us in immediately. Also let us park up so that we could go for a local mountain walk.
The breakfasts were excellent and our room was well equipped, warm and with free wifi as well. A bottle of water on side tables together with kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits were generous.
- Wayne (10/5): - Excellent overall
- Kirsty (10/5): Great B&B - Very helpful owner, fabulous breakfast, good size rooms with all amenities and very good social room downstairs if required. The character of the building was very pleasing and the surrounding area was beautiful. Really good few days away.
- Chris (8/5): Great stay - Nice cottage at back of the b&b. Owner very helpful. Situated around 4 miles from Bangor centre and taxi numbers in welcome pack if needed. (we used taxi Aled and cost to Bangor was ยฃ10 )
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very peaceful setting and the bathroom was to die for (wrong phrase as we were there for a funeral) - the shower/steamer that has jets form all angles and a jacuzzi bath for two - if only we had time to make use of them :)
We were very well looked after from the outset and excellent PPE measures were in place from outside the front door right into the bedroom.
The room was very well appointed and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. It is worth remembering this is an older property and one should not expect showroom quality everywhere, but it is definitely very well maintained with good attention to detail.
- Catharina (10/5): Cute B&B, comfy bed and very welcoming - This place was so cute. The owner was very welcoming and check in went very smoothly. The room was really nice, big bed with nice en-suite (the shower was really cool). The breakfast in the morning was cooked really well and fuelled us for our day of adventure. Would recommend this place, especially if youโre doing Zip World, as itโs really close.
- Sarah (10/5): - Bryan made us very welcome. We stayed here as we were visiting Zip World which is very close by. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Would recommend.
- Cheryl (10/5): Home from Home / A Welcome in the Hillside - Beautiful accommodation - spotlessly clean and comfortable. Host was very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. Linda McCartney veggie sausages with breakfast 10/10
Would definitely recommend and I would stay again if in the area.
A real home from home ๐
- Trevor (10/5): Great BnB close to Zip Wire - Great place to stay, close to Zip Wire. Room was clean and comfortable. Great shower. Excellent breakfast. Friendly owner willing to give local info.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - GREAT! cute little cottage away from the main building with massive bed. A little kitchen living/dinning room and bathroom with fancy shower. The underfloor heating was nice. Very quiet, lovely breakfasts with options and times.
- Richard (8/5): Lovely little B&B close to Zip World - Cute little B&B perfect if you are visiting Zip World but live too far away to travel up and back home in one day. Our room didn't have an en suite but the bathroom across the hall was just for us. It had the most fancy shower I've ever seen!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A very comfortable and homely place to stay when visiting Bangor. The room was very comfortable, with an excellent multi-function shower facility in the Green room. Breakfast was fantastic and very filling. Overall a great two night B&B stay.
- Darren (10/5): Perfect location for Zip World - Fantastic little B&B, very friendly, superb breakfast and ideally located for many of the attractions in North Wales. Absolutely perfect for Zip World Velocity
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Bryan is a lovely host and Pant Teg is a gorgeous place to stay when exploring Snowdonia. The house is very clean and beautiful, the bathroom was fantastic with a fancy massage shower and the breakfast is delicious. Recommend this B&B highly!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location for Zip World, very nice accommodation, really good breakfast and friendly owner
- brian (10/5): Great B&B near Bethesda - Owner was very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Clean, comfortable room.
Only downside is local area restaurants and pub kitchens tend to close by 9pm.
However, beautiful place to stay in N. Wales
- ian (10/5): Comfortable and roomy - Very pleasantly surprised when shown to our self contained accommodation in the annex at the rear of the main building. Having got soaked whilst climbing mount Snowden it was perfect to have underfloor heating throughout which allowed drying of our clothing. Only downside was lack of interference free tv signal which limited viewing to BBC channels only. Fab stay in good locationeasy, would stay again without hesitation.
- Phill (8/5): Clean Friendly and Fab location - Lovely barn conversion for the self catering. Great area to explore snowdonia and teh hosts are very helpful and friendly. Good restaurants nearby especially voltaire in Bangor if you have a plant based diet
- Timothy George (10/5): Good B&B - Friendly staff, great bed, good breakfast, seems like a perfect location for North Wales...what more do you need?
- Timothy (8/5): One night stay w/o a car - Easy access to NP and Zip World. Car travel preferred for location although cab possible. No food close by (2 mile walk and limited choice including grocery stores). Stayed in the self catering cottage which was roomy and clean with adequately stocked kitchen. Good internet. Did not eat breakfast so cannot comment. Host was very informative and helpful
- Molly (10/5): Cosy stay - Tidy, cosy room in a large guest house. Amazing renovated bathroom. A warm welcome from host, and a great breakfast in bright conservatory. The village itself was quiet, and the little pub full of friendly locals.
- Fiona (10/5): Ideal for zipwiring - Lovely B&B and Bryan's breakfasts were outstanding, set you up for the day.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Pant Teg not Pants! - Quiet and peaceful attached cottage to this well-reviewed B&B; very spacious for 2 people. Good kitchen facilities, excellent bathroom, large bed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very convenient to Zip World - Very welcoming quiet location, breakfast was excellent and made to order. the owner and staff were very friendly and willing to chat and answer any questions about the area.
I will keep the address and details to stay again if in the area.
- scott (10/5): Nice cottage, great location. - Great location, the cottage is comfortable and functional. Great cooked breakfast in the morning, would highly recommend a stay here.
- Graham (10/5): ... Just out of Bangor ... - A delightful place to stay. We enjoyed both Pant Teg and the area.
- Michael (10/5): Wonderful B&B! - Pant Teg is a great place for visiting Snowdonia NP and for the castles and other sites of northern Wales. Our host, Bryan was very helpful and friendly. We'd stay there again.
- Ann (8/5): Nice B&B - Lovely guest house. Bryan and Katrin were friendly. Lovely cooked breakfast to order. Stayed in the โpinkโ room which was quite comfy. Would recommend this guest house as a base for the local area including Snowdonia.
