Jiří (10/5): Amazing stay in the heart of Newquay - It was an amazing stay in Newquay. The Smarties guest house is a lovely place with beautiful decorations. It's cozy, there are carpets everywhere and everything is spick and span. The host and owner Jackie welcomed us warmly, advised us what to visit in the town, made us delicious English breakfast every morning and took care of us. Thank you very much for everything and definitely see you again in some of the next summers.
Jane (10/5): Perfect place to stay for a weekend in Newquay. - Great location for visiting Newquay and the beaches. Room was great for 4 of us. Very clean and beds were very comfy. Also good to have somewhere to hang sandy wetsuits. Jackie was lovely. Definitely recommend staying at Smarties.

Graham (9/5): Graham - Stayed at Smarties for a weekend surfing and had a great stay. The room was exactly as described and Jackie couldn't do enough to help, even welcomed us with a beer and did breakfast when we needed! Easy walk to the beach or town. Would recommend.

Mandy (10/5): A fantastic 2 night stay in Newquay. I would highly recommend Smarties Surf Lodge - Smarties Surf Lodge is in an ideal location for the town and the beaches. I had no trouble finding a parking space on the same road. The host was amazing and welcomed me with a beer and a slice of banana loaf. The room was comfortable with a great shower and everything you need in a guest house. I accepted the optional cooked breakfast which was fantastic.

There was a friendly atmosphere and Jackie had a great knowledge of things to do around Newquay. The room was supplied with a kettle and amenities and the breakfast was really nice. Our daughter loved the stay and we would not hesitate to revisit.

She really wants you to have a good time. The dogs are great hosts, too. The location is perfect, quick walks everywhere, park & forget your car for a while. Fistral beach and headland blew us away. We had the 4 bed-room with seaview. Fully recommended. All good :) if you are around 2 meters tall you might not be able to fully stretch in the bunkbeds, but it was still comfy
