• Carol (8/5): Comfortable hotel with great restaurant. - Friendly, helpful staff, nice room, great hotel restaurant. Hotel set in lovely grounds but location a bit industrial.
• Eric (10/5): Tout est parfait…sauf le café. - Hôtel très bien situé à proximité de l’autoroute.Personnel attentif et compétent. Chambre très confortable , calme. SDB , il ne manque rien. La restauration est un peu chère mais la qualité des plats consommés le justifie . Du haut de gamme. Reste le petit déjeuner . Il ne fallait pas arriver en retard pour avoir droit aux croissants et à la viennoiserie en totalité. Concernant le café, présenté en genre de container acier la qualité est insuffisante vu le positionnement del’établissement. Une vraie machine à café même milieu de gamme s’impose.

• Elisabeth (10/5): - Un hôtel très calme dans un joli parc à l'entrée de la ville et proche de l'autoroute. Un accueil très souriant et efficace malgré une panne informatique. Nous avons passé une excellente nuit.

• Emmanuel (10/5): Très bien - Un belle expérience, un chambre spacieuse avec vue sur le parc. Des toilettes séparées de la salle d’eau. Une literie confortable. Une petite remarque un problème d’insonorisation lié à l’étage nous étions en rez de chaussée. Pour les fenêtres simple vitrage c’était plus agréable car se sont les oiseaux qui nous ont réveiller. Merci pour votre sympathie.

Sejour moyen de manière générale, pour moi ne mérite pas les 4 étoiles. Heureusement lit confortable et chambres bien insonorisée. Restaurant pas du tout à la hauteur du prix. Je ne pense pas que nous reviendrons.

Les produits du restaurant étaient de qualité et nous avons eu un repas délicieux. Le personnel a également pris grand soin de nous. Malgré une arrivée tardive. Nous recommandons donc cet établissement.

• PATRICIA (6/5): - Nous etions deja venus 6 mois plus tôt, le menu quasi identique, du coup 2 nuits sur place mais 1 seul passage au restaurant nulle envie de remanger la même chose une 3ème fois. Les toilettes terriblement étroits et trop bas, la fenêtre difficilement refermable. Par contre la personne a l'accueil : tres agréable.

• Simon (4/5): Smelly room - The room smelt of bad drains. In fact the whole corridor smelt awful as we were walking to the room. We were so tired from the journey we put up with it and mentioned it at reception when paying. It was met with a shrug of the shoulders, as if it wasn't their problem. Nothing was deducted from the bill, so we paid alot for a really poor experience and shan't be returning. There are considerably better options nearby, cheaper, cleaner and where they have a service mentality. Give this place a wide berth.

Aber dass für Hotelgäste keine Plätze im Restaurant zur Verfügung stehen, ist schwer akzeptabel, auch wenn der Manager bemüht war, eine Lösung ausserhalb zu finden. Der Teppich im Zimmer hat sein Ablaufdatum längst erreicht.

• juan pablo (4/5): Horrible a éviter à tout prix !! - Très mauvais accueil, hautain et désagréable !!! Nous arrivons à 20h30 après des heures de route et le gérant nous dit que nous arrivons trop tard pour le restaurant or j’avais téléphoné avant pour être certaine que ce serait encore possible !!! Nous sommes les seuls à être installés à l’intérieur alors que nous sommes 2 et qu’il y a des tables libres en terrasse ! Le service est très lent, le personnel parle fort et manque visiblement d’expérience … Plusieurs clients sont mécontents du service et de la lenteur et vont se plaindre au gérant. Celui-ci leur répond de façon inappropriée déplacée et hausse le ton au lieu d’admettre les faits et de calmer les choses. Horrible soirée ! Clients choqués de la scène ! En ce qui concerne la chambre, elle était sale, défraîchie avec des dégâts dus à l’humidité (voir photos) Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel et changer de gérant serait la meilleure chose !

• Susan (6/5): Okay. Has potential but... - It's really unclear that the location is just off a busy road with lots of supermarkets and strip malls. As a matter of fact there is a big shopping center right across the street. This used to be a former monastery and a "Relais du Silence" which means it should be quiet but we could definitely hear street noise/traffic. It's also not near the center of Thiers at all. I could see that while booking but it's quite far away. - I think they could have been better at quite a few things: The room itself had a toilet that made noise if you didn't re-flush it. The refrigerator wasn't cold AT ALL. The carpet and bathroom definitely need upgrading, a bit old for the carpet and dirty in the grouting and on the wall near the shower. The restaurant really wasn't the best either, especially for being listed in Michelin and overpriced. The reception was just okay. All just okay. Has potential but not sure if they'll ever achieve anything better.

• Sylvie (8/5): - Suite junior. 2 adultes et 1 enfant. Arrivée à 22h30, on entre dans la chambre : 1 lit et un fauteuil. !?! On appelle la réception qui nous informe que c'est à nous de déplier le fauteuil qui est un lit ? Heu, c'est un hôtel 4 étoiles ça? Finalement une personne est venu déplier le fameux fauteuil convertible. Il est quand même dommage que dans un 4 étoiles les parents soient bien traités et que les enfants soient toujours condamnés à camper ! Le petit petit-déjeuner est correct. Une contenant d'œufs brouillés et poitrine grillée, petite pancarte à côté nous laisse espérer mais hélas elle est vide; en fait il n'y en jamais eu le plat est propre sous le couvercle. Plus de pains au chocolat et buffet non réapprovisionné à 9h30. Fin prévue du service à 10h. On est très très loin du 4 étoiles comme par exemple la résidence du vieux port à Marseille. Malgré tout, cela reste un bon hôtel où le silence est bien respecté.

La chambre n'était pas d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous avons apprécié le silence dans cet hôtel qui ouvre sur un grand parc. Le personnel qui sert le petit-déjeuner est très professionnel.

• sandra (10/5): Comfortable - Stayed one night at this wonderful hotel. After a long day travelling , we were meet by friendly welcoming staff . We sat outside this lovely old building with some spectacular France wine and nibbles. The restaurant was very very nice but most of all the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in weeks, as I have travelled for the past 3 weeks in France. Would recommend this hotel.

• Rich (6/5): Charmless - Very little charm here! Very functional check in & told that the restaurant was full that evening & we would need to eat elsewhere. The room was fine but that's all we saw of the hotel!!
• Sarah (6/5): Utterly mundane, several small problems - Unfortunately for this hotel, the hotel we stayed in the night before was magnificent. This is a hotel that could be anywhere in the world. Nondescript. The mini-bar had the usual overpriced items which we didn't bother with. It was a mini-fridge that was NOT cold, so the milk we put in there for coffee the next morning was ruined. There was something wrong in the bathroom plumbing that I reported to the front desk. The shower has one of those great big shower heads, and to use it you move the hand-held part down to the bottom of the water pipe. So. The problem was that the hand-held shower part would not stay where it was put, it rather quickly moved down the pipe. At that point the humongous shower head was supposed to start emitting water, but that did not happen. I had to continually shove the hand-held part back up the pipe only to have it fall back down. Irritating. The hotel is cloistered with a wall that's locked at night, you get a code to get out if you're leaving early. Great if you're paranoid.
