Guest Reviews
- Mike (2/5): - Booked a room 6 months in advance and when arrived nothing was available because of construction. They wouldn’t help or do anything to fix the situation. Do not stay at this place, it was the worse hotel experience I’ve ever had.
- Cliff (4/5): Bad time - They said I didn’t have a reservation and they don’t do business with booking.com anymore
- Jerry (4/5): - It has jelly spoiled inside the drawers and food in the microwave and in the freezer and squished bugs on the wall
- Carl (2/5): Very poor - Price The cockroaches
- RONALD (10/5): - cockroaches
- Nerryann (10/5): Exceptional - I am good
- Brett (2/5): - Checking in was mediocre. The attendant wasn’t super friendly, but checked us in without any issues. There was an $35 dollar pet fee, which was the highest I paid, with the previous hotel being $20. Unfortunately, one of our rooms was on the second floor, which there are no elevators making it difficult for my 80 year old mother. I’m guessing the motel has permanent tenants, as there were trash bags outside most of the doors. Several doors were open with people going in and out and we had to walk through a cloud of marijuana smoke which was not pleasant (yes, due to my profession, I know what it smells like). My mother’s double bed room was extremely gross. I took pictures, but I see I cannot upload them here.
The comforter had holes in it, which our dogs blankets are in better shape. The fridge was covered in what looked like tape residue from previous attempts to keep the fridge closed and now had buckles to keep it closed. From the condition of the room, I cannot understand why we paid the hefty $35 pet fee.
A couple hours later, my mom called me back to her room, where there was a cockroach walking across the pillow. I checked under the bed to see if there were more, and that’s where I saw the trash and dirt. Clearly, cleaning under the beds and other items does not happen. Yes, I have pictures. My mom killed two other bugs that night.
The second room on the first floor was actually in decent shape and looked nice. Shower had hot water and was in ok shape.
- Jim (10/5): - Nice hotel
- Larry (8/5): - Loud music
- Hughes (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (2/5): - This was an awful experience. The parking lot was full with work trucks and workers hosting their own cook out in the parking lot that intimidated anyone entering the property. Also, there were boarded up windows in the front office like they had been broken into. As a single female I chose not to stay at this property as I felt unsafe yet they REFUSED to cancel my reservation. It took 5 calls just to get someone to answer my calls. It was worth loosing my $ for peace of mind. I complained to Expedia and they refused to help. I told them the posting on their site was NOT reality. Do not stay here!!! There are much better hotels within $20 difference.
- Josh (3/5): Should be $20 a night for that motel - It had running water No coffee, alarm clock, hair dryer, and no feeing of safety
- Stefan (2/5): Uncomfortable + unclean + unmaintained = unhappy customer - Good location near the interstate, restaurants, big box stores, etc. Staff was friendly enough. AC worked well. I can't speak for other rooms, but mine was in very poor condition. Many things didn't work correctly or were missing entirely. No volume control on the TV, no trash can (they did dig one up from somewhere when I asked), no coffee maker and no coffee in the lobby (however they were doing renovations there) and the shower curtain rod didn't fit into the wall housing and fell literally the second I closed the curtain. The toilet was leaking and damaged (no to mention not cleaned well with flecks of you know what), walls were unevenly painted and seemed to have signs of previous damage or graffiti. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and squeaky. And the facilities outside the room were also damaged like concrete on the stairs and walkways. Nothing was changed well. Luckily I had a bottle of rubbing alcohol to sanitize every surface. But I think the hardest part for me was the smell. They had obviously been something they were trying to cover up like smoke or cats or something but the spray fragrance or whatever they were using was so overpowering and intense that it was hard to breathe and sleep. Don't smell stuck to my clothes and luggage for days. I've traveled all over the world and this hotel was honestly worse than ones I've stayed in in Southeast Asia.
- Darvin (7/5): Good - The convenience of the location. Loud music all through the night. Contract workers blasting music and drinking.
- Kenney (5/5): It was OK - Low price Unfriendly staff
No parking available near my door
- amy (4/5): - The place is under remodel, but the front entrance is only half done,so there is basically a bell you ring for service,as no one is at a check in desk. A somewhat friendly woman comes out and after explaining why I'm there, takes my ID ,goes to another room, verifies it, and returns for my credit card, leaves again and then returns a bit more pleasant for me to sign.....Strange Hospitality! The room was not very clean, the water had a weird odor, whether you just washed your hands or flushed the toilet.
I reserved a 2 bed room for 3 people, but they only had 1 king-size bed... I'm fairly certain that some people live there, which to each his own,
but it was disappointing to check in at the hotel
and have a group of men partying down ( drinking & marijuana & loud music)in the parking lot.
They did have a hot shower with great water pressure, cold A/C and Thankfully no outward signs of Bed Bugs or Roaches.
Just 1 of those ✔️ & won't do it again ❎ experiences... I give 1 star ⭐
- teddy (2/5): Worst hotel I’ve ever seen. No AC. Stain on bed - Run away. Sleep in your car would be better.
I had the worst 2 night in forever. NO AC in the room. Stains all over the bed. old and dirty bed sheets…. Avoid this hotel .
- teddy (2/5): Worst hotel I’ve ever seen. No AC. Stain on bed - Run away. Sleep in your car would be better.
I had the worst 2 night in forever. NO AC in the room. Stains all over the bed. Like what the hell tou can’t even replace $30 bed sheets…. Avoid this hotel . Stay in your car and save money
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cheapest hotel - Was fair enough, check in was a bit annoying due to having to wait outside due to their construction on lobby but I got what I paid for
- Reno (6/5): Pleasant -
- Reno (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rick (7/5): Good -
- Carilee (6/5): - It appears that the owners are completing a renovation of the hotel. IF they can attract a high quality clientele that doesn't damage the property, it should be very nice when they are done. Very clean rooms, nice thick towels, comfortable bed & pillows. Parking lot freshly paved. Police were called the night we were there for a disturbance between tenants. Ice machine was broken.
- Florence (8/5): Ok place - Was fine.
- Mark (10/5): - Clean and updated, nice area and convenient location.
- Ed (2/5): - Over priced and dirty!!!
- Cliff (6/5): Pleasant - No hot water
- John (4/5): - Very old. The property in general was sketchy
- Albert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marin (8/5): - I've been to this property 8 or more times and always have a good stay.
- Karen (6/5): - Being renovated, should be grat then. No ice machine now
- Van (8/5): Our one night stay went well - The location was great but being under remodeling they still have a lot to do yet. The fitted bed sheet had bad stains on one of the beds.
The bathroom sink water hook-up is backwards and has a bad leak under the sink.
- Anne (2/5): - I stayed at the Greenfield Inn for one night to see the eclipse. This place was disgusting. The sheets on both beds in my room were stained and one had a smiley face drawn on it in ink. There was hair in the tub and the shower head was gross! I asked for fresh sheets and went out to dinner. I came back and there were no fresh sheets. I covered one entire bed with a moving blanket from my truck and used another to cover up. No way was i going to sleep on whatever those stains were. My brother and his wife also had a room here. They found a dead spider and a hair in the sheets of the bed in their room. Their door lock didn't work so the staff offered to give him the master key to use. WHAT? So if it wasn't my brother, who knows who would have been in that room and had access to every room in that place with the master key!? Very disturbing. My brother ended up moving to another room. I rarely provide reviews but felt this needed to be shared. I sincerely hope the owners are willing and able to properly address these health and safety concerns..... and properly price the the rooms.
- William (6/5): - Expedia website said breakfast included. Totally not true and mtg offered nothing. “Not our problem”
- David (10/5): - Place looks like it went thru a renovation. It's nice and clean plus it's lots of eating options within walking distance!
- Kimberly (6/5): What hotel has no ice or vlean towels for next day - They are renovating lobby. Went for ice was told they are not giving any because owner unplugged. Also no fresh towels for second night there.
- Martin (10/5): - Always pleasant and enjoyable!
- Katie (6/5): - Rooms recently updated as in painting, new mattresses which were comfy and bug free, but the dresser drawer was messy with dry wall particles and such, clearly had not been cleaned out. Toilet seat is old. They updated some things but some things still need attention. Couldnt get the tv to change channels. Asked for a remote and they didnt have one, told they would have to have someone else do it next day, which we were gone by then. It served its purpose for the night and it was cheap compared to others in the area.
- Haeske (7/5): Good -
- Martin (7/5): Good -
- Brian (1/5): Needs some TLC - Location Toilet seat was missing tv didn't work and they refused to refund me
- Haeske (7/5): Good - Pleasantly surprised. Very clean. The housekeeping chemicals were a bit strong smelling.
- Stupka (3/5): Poor -
- Conor (4/5): Cheap, staff is cool. Roaches are not. No beuno not in mi casa - Staff was good. Had 4 roaches In my room killed 2. Cock roach
- Jacquelin (5/5): Passable - Nothing
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Fred (6/5): Ok place to stay. - Location right off the interstate and near restaurants Very small rooms. Could have been cleaner.
- Mark (6/5): It was ok, I can live with it for the nice price - spilled water on bathroom floor. wipped it up with a towel and the towel was dirty from the floor.
- Carl (1/5): It will be a while before I come back if ever. - Price. My room had roaches
- Lance (10/5): - The entire room has been refurbished… and Gary did an excellent job. For the price, it was a great stay.
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (10/5): enjoyable stay. - My stay at the Greenfield Inn was as I hoped it would be. It was located just off the highway but very quiet. As I was attending a funeral, I did not need all the fancy extras that often are provided at a cost, but it had all the things I needed. A refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer and a comfortable bed!!!
- Carl (1/5): Never going back - Smelled awful owner seemed annoyed to even be said hi to and the “free wifi” hasn’t worked in months according to the employee at the desk Everything
- Robert (1/5): Bad -
- Sharon (4/5): - I did not like when I was wiping water off the floor it came up black on the towel. The owner said it was a clean place before I checked in. I only stayed because I had drivien 12 hours and was tired. I layed on one of my dog's blankets instead of in the bed. Dog fee was way too high
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (1/5): I didn’t come so,you guys call me and telling me I cannot get a reimbursement so that’s a bad experi -
- Arlandance (1/5): Bad -
- Jaime (1/5): There were cockroaches everywhere - Nothing Bugs
- Mark (4/5): Disappointing - Fairly clean, great location. And the price was good. Rude woman checked me in through the mail slot, no Internet although they advertised free Internet. I was told that it was not working but the hot water was free.
- Timothy (6/5): - Refurbishing of the rooms is ongoing. The finished rooms are in good shape. Clean. However, the online writeup states there is free breakfast. There is no breakfast, no coffee, or coffee pots anywhere, the ice machine is broken.
- Tara (8/5): It’s really pretty good - Overall it was good. I would stay there again. Room condition & comfort was good. It was surprisingly quiet & I felt very safe. I think they are making a lot of improvements. Just have an open mind & this place will work for you.
- Jody (10/5): - Low price. My expectations weren’t high
- Gena (2/5): - The place was not available. It was being renovated, The hotel we ended up at said it drew drug clientele, that there was no lobby - just a gated window to sign in…YOU gave it a 4 rating!
YOU
- Baiarta (3/5): Poor -
- Marrianne (6/5): Pleasant -
- Carl (2/5): Very poor - It had a bed and a shower. The internet did not work, the room had a thick layer of dust all over the dresser and other furniture, carpets were stained excessively and the staff didn’t offer an apology or anything for all of the problems.
- Boyd (5/5): Passable -
- Kristin (8/5): Very good -
- Johnny (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay. Thanks
- KURT (8/5): Decent low-cost hotel - It took 10 minutes for clerk to appear at desk to check me in. Hotel room was ok, minimum ammenities as expected. WiFi wasnt strong enough to use. TV had good selection of channels. Near interstate and many good restaurants.
- Pearl (2/5): Could have been better - Property was great They had no hot water
- dennis (10/5): - Very nice and clean.
- Prevot (1/5): Bad -
- Joshua (4/5): - Upon checking in the front desk people are extremely rude they don't communicate or say thank you or anything at all they just sit there and look at you and hand you your card and then upon walking into the room it smelled heavy smoke and drugs there was human feces on the wall and the bathroom and trash on the floor I requested a new room then was told that that would not be possible and that if I didn't like it I could just leave so I dealt with it but needless to say I will not be back!
- Tracy (2/5): - Dirty and rundown i let them keep my money as it was too late to cancel.... and went to another hotel.
- Kenneth (10/5): Great value for the room. Room was everything you'd expect. - The bed was very comfortable. Very quiet room. The channels for the TV we're awesome. The room was stuffy when we arrived, but within 30 minutes, room was cool. The stairs were intimidating. There was mildew on the shower curtain. I believe because it's too long & lays in the tub.
- Jan (8/5): It was one night on our way to Lake of Ozarks. It was good place to rest. - It was nice to have a desk with chair in the room. The Wi-Fi was strong. Other sites are offered free breakfast, but not Booking.com. Initially the fridge didn't work, I unplugged the cord and plugged it in after about 5 minutes and it stated.
- Maxey (1/5): When the lights go out - Nothing During the day it seemed ok. Went to sleep woke up with a roach crawling on me. Turned on the light and they were everywhere. Got up and left right then.it was awful
- Joanne (6/5): - Run down
- Zac (1/5): Terrible - The receptionist seemed to be nice The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, there was no battery in the smoke alarm, the light above sink did not work, and sheets & carpet were dirty
- Nickolas (4/5): It was okay for the money I spent, but definitely not worth more. - I appreciated the price for the room. I liked how quiet it was at night. That’s about it really. I have no more to really add about the room I stayed in. I wasn’t really happy about the stains in the carpet, the fact that I had to get my key card rescanned the very next day. The TV menu was in a different language and I had to learn that language to get it back to English.
- Doug (5/5): Passable - There was no breakfast that I knew about Air conditioner would run then stop then start again
I also got bed bugs on both legs and feet
Needed a vanity light
And a vanity mirror
Room should have a better smelling scent
- Joshua (10/5): - I first off was happy with the cost $, when I arrived I was excited to be greeted by a positive happy face enthused to be here he took excellent care of me timily and the WiFi is reliable room is clean and well decorated fridge and microwave USB ports near the beds.. doing some remodeling currently but the workers are friendly it's quiet at night I missed the entrance street that needs some pot holes repaired but it wasn't too busy so I was able to avoid any bent rims :)
- Armando (1/5): Bad - Nothing They charge me for 2 nights I wasn't able to be there
- Vincent (6/5): - Was ok for the cost.Half the lights did not work.
- James (3/5): I would not stay there again. Disapointed Priceline recommended it. - location very old and poor condition. stains on carpet with old furniture
- Anonymous (6/5): convenient - location wifi would not connect
pillows were dirty
stuffy air
- Tom (1/5): Bad - The place is nasty, and to charge people over 200 dollars is insane Fix the place up
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - location was great & the room was very clean no ice and water pressure was horrible
- Pamela (2/5): - That place was horriffic. I would not recommend it to dead people. No ice or drinks anywhere on property. Except the liquor store in the parking lot.
- Shelby (8/5): Very good - Location Bathroom light above sink was not working
- David (4/5): - You get what you pay for. I learned my lesson.
- Derek (7/5): Good -
- Lisa (3/5): Poor -
