• Linda (7/5): Amazing experience - Loved the location view the atmosphere it was a beautiful experience . We didn’t have a queen Bed in at least one of the rooms. Some of the dinners were very average. Marinara pasta is not served with macoroni .

Excellent friendly staff and snow transportation from and too overnight car park. Nice being able to drive in and park overnight. Could be some extra leisure area to relax away from the bar.

The food in the dinner menu was of very poor quality. Could not eat what we ordered. But the prices were high.

• Ira (10/5): Exactly what we needed - Guthega Inn is located in the back country not far from Smiggin Holes and Jindabyne. The property overlooks the beautiful snow-covered Mt Townsend and the frozen dam below. The staff were incredible, especially Bailey and Max, who both went out of their way to make us feel at home! Already looking into rebooking for next year for a bit longer stay The property is a little out-of-the-way for most of the standard touristy stuff, but it’s exactly this which attracted us to it in the first place. We found our day trip to Thredbo overpopulated and frustrating, Guthega is not that

Staff were great, the owner even offered to collect us from Jindabyne when we told them we couldn’t get transport up to the Inn, who does that! It speaks volumes about the customer service here. Good is outstanding, all freshly cooked and of a high standard. Highly recommended. There wasn’t anything :)

• Alexander (10/5): A fantastic few days in the high country! - Excellent location close to some of the best hikes Kosi NP has to offer. Breakfast was hearty and coffee on point, and the restaurant offered generous and nutritious meal options. Bed was very comfortable and windows with effective insect screens opened easily for fresh air at night. There could be a couple bowls and plates provided along with the microwave in rooms.

• Wen (1/5): Very bad experience of the facility of the accommodation and the process of asking for refund. - The view from the room is fine. 1. We have to walk over the snow for around 10 minutes from where the car park to the hotel. This is very hard for the kids. This information is not disclosed in the ad. 2. The hot water is provided only 4 hours per day. This information is not disclosed in the ad. 3. Although it says free parking in the ad, it is very hard to find parking space. We couldn't find the parking space and took the risk of being fined to park the car improperly. 4. The address of inn is not accurately and clearly stated in the Booking system. There is no accurate address in the confirmation we received. They put Perisher Valley instead of Guthega in the location, this is confusing or misleading. 5. Because of the above reasons, the accommodation is totally difference from our expectation and we checkout on the next day even if we booked for 4 nights. But Guthega Inn refused to refund us, even if this is their fault due to their inaccurate and incomplete information in the ad.

The evening meal we had was great in taste but not worth the charge. Beds-hard and lumpy. Bathroom incredibly tiny, couldn't move to dry myself, literally. No guest laundry, no TV, no wifi, no wine glasses, one chair on the balcony so I couldn't sit with my partner and enjoy the view. Due to the season there was not very good snow at all, the lift had closed, no fault of the property, so we wanted other things to do. There was no guest services guide. Never having been to he area, I had no idea what other things we could do there. was advised to head into Jindy. We left after 2 days having paid for 6.

• Klein (10/5): We had a relaxed fun holiday with the kids. Beautiful meals and games around the fire at night. - Breakfast was wonderful with a good selection and portions. Build your own hot breakfast! My favourite Eggs with mushroom, haloumi, tomato and hash brown. All inclusive! Perfect pre ski meal. The heater was a bit old and struggled at night. It did mean I had to cuddle my husband to stay warm, so it wasn't all that bad. We were given an extra Dona which kept us warm. I believe the new owners are upgrading the heating.

Meters from the chair up the mountain and an absolutely fabulous view. Hot water was patchy late in the evening but that was quickly remediated by staff.
