Stephanie (7/5): - Good hot shower; heat pump; easy parking; good bed; spacious unit. Perfect location for me as I was visiting a friend who lives nearby. Cleaning staff were particularly nice and friendly. Tired decor, chipped paint etc. I thought it was quite expensive for what it was - though to be fair, all the accommodation in Alexandra seems to be expensive.

My husband had a piece of toast and a coffee so very expensive breakfast. I had cereal and fruit which was nothing exciting either. breakfast wouldn't bother again

The Location was excellent, handy to everything, shops, supermarkets etc. FIRSTLY: The establishment needs to seriously upgrade to "PayWave" like many other establishments for customers who use PayWave to pay. Luckily I had a back-up plan but for those who only have access on their phones to digitally pay for accommodation there's always going to be a hiccup. Maybe advertise that PayWave is not available on your website and the Booking.com site so guests are prepared (just in case). SECONDLY: This may only be a minor thing but we noticed that the refrigerator wasn't turned on until the last day of our stay when we noticed the milk had gone off and nothing was cold UNTIL we saw a switch above the kitchen sink. When we arrived on our first day, we turned the switch on but couldn't work out what is was for so we left it off only to find out on the last day the switch was for the fridge. Too little too late as we were leaving anyway. Maybe the establishment should put a sticker on the switch with the word "REFRIGERATOR" on it let the guests know what it's for.

Michelle (2/5): Budget accommodation, don’t expect to be able to sleep! - Convenient location Extremely small room with nowhere to put luggage except on the tiny floor space, mould in bathroom (the window blind was absolutely covered in it - needs to be removed), walls are paper thin, which is a big problem with doors slamming all night, noise from people walking overhead, and cars and loud motorbikes driving in and out late/early.

Being on a ground floor unit, the floor above us was quite creaky and loud when people were walking. Owain (9/5): Great place to stay as a wheelchair user - I write from the perspective as an active wheelchair user who travels alone. I booked this place for a one-night stay on short notice as I messed up my travel plans. I arrived late and left early. The staff were helpful when I called to inform them, I would not make it in time for reception closing, and they arranged everything so I could just rock up. There was a disabled parking bay directly outside the property, which made it easy for me to transfer my luggage from the car to the room. I didn't use the kitchen except to have a quick coffee in the morning, but I couldn't see anything wrong with it. The bathroom can sometimes be a point of stress for me, but I had zero issues with the bathroom, and it is perfectly adapted for those of us that are less able. Alexandra was a lovely little town and a nice stop on my journey. I have nothing negative to say about my stay, everything was fine.

Rachael (5/5): - The staff are great and so is the location. The room was very warm great heat pump. Windows are not safe for children they open up very wide so being upstairs is dangerous. Toilet flush button was broken and need a fan for the shower. Shower dirty in the corners. Front door needed planed so got stuck a few times which is very dangerous if theres a fire. Building does not block any sound could hear ALL of the traffic since its on a main road and the person snoring in the downstairs room..
Lyn (6/5): Older accommodation but clean rooms. Close to two supermarkets and other food outlets - Location was fine, we had a room away from the road. There’s no sound proofing from the rooms above, could hear when above used the toilet! Room size was okay for us for an overnight stay; had everything we needed to be comfortable. We ate at the restaurant that night. I ordered fish meal, it was raw in the middle. By the time it had been sent back to the kitchen twice the chips were cold, the fish was awful, the meal ruined. I could hear the chef in the kitchen moaning about it. To top it off I was charged full price for the meal. We will never dine there again.

Alison (6/5): Great water pressure - Power shower was great, room was clean. Not a restful place for a good night's sleep- wouldn't stay again. Outside light was very bright and shone all night through the glass door- no curtain to block it out, so too bright to sleep. Walls very thin- heard every mumble, cough, and snore from neighbors on all sides.
