Only stayed here 1 night, walked into the bathroom and found 2 massive cockroaches, mosquito net above the double bed didn’t actually completely cover the bed, couch was incredibly uncomfortable, cushions on couch felt like they were made of hessian and I found the host to be a bit creepy.

Peter, the owner, is a great person, always very helpful and knowledgeable in regards to all possible tours, which are being offered in the region. The beautiful property, consists of just 8 apartments in villa style, beautiful surrounded by tropical vegetation. A nicely shaped pool is just 20 meters away from all 8 apartments. The bathroom with bath tab could be a bit larger, that's the only thing we have been missing.

• Alana (10/5): Fantastic place for families! A beautiful room with everything you need for a family holiday. - What an absolutely beautiful little apartment! Our flight back to Perth was cancelled last minute and this was the very last accomodation available in Cairns. We were so delighted when we arrived, stressed and put out by the change of plans and it was so lovely to arrive at the apartment and have everything we possibly needed. Peter was available by phone to answer questions and was very helpful. We had all the things we needed, like saucepans and cooking things, as well as towels etc. It was all great.

Perhaps a little dated and security needs improvement. A better door locking mechanism. Travelling companions door was very difficult to open, the lock needed replacing. I was very disappointed with Booking .com as I was charged an international transaction fee of $21 for a domestic booking. I contacted Booking.com and received a reply which made no sense. I queried this and got no reply. I will book direct with accommodation providers in future.

• Sarah (10/5): Tropical oasis that felt like an escape. Perfection. - Fabulous property! Stayed with my two kids (5 & 6) 4 nights. We felt safe & had all we could want. We loved : Pool ( kids had it to themselves!). I could see room from pool so even had a morning dip sans the crocodile hunters (aka my children). Kitchen: everything we needed ! (even arrived to complimentary drinks!)! All items were clean and easy to use. Location: central to everything but nice and quiet at night. Room : super clean, practical, comfy and yet still pretty. It really is a tropical oasis. Parking: easy access to car is fabulous with kids! Staff: friendly, diligent and know the area… Peter is an absolute champ. I look forward to planning another trip here. I honestly can’t fault any element … at a stretch if you’re after cookie cutter perfect you may be surprised at first. Kitchen items are eclectic etc. After a few hours you won’t notice things don’t match because you have all you need and more! ( And it’s all clean!) That’s seriously a stretch though. We loved it!
