• Rishabh (9/5): Your home away from home, in the lap of nature, bird sounds, turtles, crabs and more, core memory creaation for your chi - The location cannot get better than this. It’s like having your own beautiful villa on the Indian Ocean. The staff was very good, they really made us feel at home, they were very accommodating of the requests coming from a family with 2 small children. I think the food options were limited, so would recommend the team to expand their menu for guests who are staying for multiple days.

Jedzenie pyszne, dzieci zjadały wszystko z apetytem, o każdej porze dostępna obsługa. Personel przemiły i bardzo pomocny. Wspaniałe miejsce-lepszego nie mogliśmy sobie wymarzyć na pobyt.
• Christina (10/5): - Great stay with Rohan and the rest of the team. Exceptional food, booth breakfast and dinner. The kids loved the pancakes for breakfast and us adults, the eggs benedict. Location is key here as the house is 15 min from the busy part of Narigama beach, meaning it is very peaceful and quiet surroundings with direct access to the beach. The team also made sure to give us peace and quiet during our stay as they live on location, this was much appreciated. Mosquitos usually show up around 18.00 and in the morning, but the team place anti-mosquito repellent incense outside, so not a big issue. There are also a number of board games on premise, fun for the whole family!

Das Personal hat sich stets im Hintergrund gehalten und war auch nicht aufdringlich. Die Speisequalität ist hervorragend und jeder Wunsch beim Essen wurde auch erfüllt. Ein wirklich schöner Ort – fast zu Hause.

A special thanks to the manager, Rohan, for his exceptional hospitality and for ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. To enhance the experience, it would be helpful if the water pressure in the shower could be more consistent, as it sometimes dropped during peak times. This was a minor issue in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Samas kui ühel õhtul soovisime peale üheksat välja minna, olid välisuksed ja väravad kinni ning keegi ei tulnud ka kella helistamise peale. Lisaks esitati meile rohelise salati, mida olime hommikusöögiks palunud, eest mega suur arve, millega ei osanud arvestada. Sama raha eest oleks mõnes kohvikus terve hommikusöögi saanud.

• Alexander (9/5): Супер вилла у океана для релакса и комфорта. - Отличная вилла, супер расположение на берегу океана, для двух пар отлично подходит, две большие спальни с большими ванными комнатами. На вилле работает целый коллектив, который следит за вашим комфортом - менеджер, повар, официант, садовник. Все очень дружелюбные, могут быть незаметными, но всегда готовы помочь. Повар вкусно готовил, завтрак были включены, ужин или обед по меню - регулярно ужинали на вилле, всё очень вкусно. Мы были в начале октября и, несмотря на отличную погоду, мы не могли купаться в океане рядом с виллой из-за высоких волн и сильного обратного течения. Может это связано с сезонностью, но в целом это открытое для океана место и здесь океан больше волнуется.

• Herve (8/5): - Très joli emplacement, les chambres sont grandes et confortable, le personnel est très gentil même si peut être un peu trop présent. Le cadre est magnifique. La piscine est assez petite et elle n'était pas très propre, les prestations pour les repas sont extrêmement cher ( pour 4 burgers à midi, des grillades le soir et quelques boissons non alcoolisées) pour une famille de 2 adultes et 2 enfants nous avons payé 80'000 LKR et cela malgré un rabais effectuer car il y avait des enfants. Malheureusement la nuit nous avons aussi eu la climatisation qui c'est arrêté.

• Marco (10/5): Wat een rust! - Prachtige ligging aan het strand. De villa heeft twee ruime slaapkamers met eigen badkamer. Omdat we de reviews niet gelezen hadden wisten we niet dat we de beschikking hadden over drie man personeel. Zij stonden de hele dag voor je klaar en zorgen ervoor dat we ons zeer op ons gemak voelden. Tegenover de villa woont Manti. Dat is een Tuktuk driver. Deze werd aangeraden door de Villa. Heeft ons een hele dag rondgereden en plekken laten zien waar we anders nooit gekomen zouden zijn. Parkeerplaats binnen de omheining. Alles was prima.

• Nicola (10/5): Magical place to stay with wonderful staff - The manager Rohan, and his team, go above and beyond to make sure that guests have a wonderful time. Tucked away from a busy road; the setting is wonderful, and guests have it all to themselves. Beautifully furnished with antiques; it is magical. The food is excellent. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice and it is worth having the BBQ one night, with fish caught that morning. The best food we had in Sri Lanka. You have this stretch of beach virtually to yourselves; safe to swim and a short stroll up the beach to Hikkaduwa. The response to booking.com reservation was poor. No response (in fact the only response via booking.com was sent a day after we’d already checked in). I had to chase and telephone. The central reservations manager muddled our booking at thought we were staying at another Taru property. Finally Rohan called me direct and all was sorted immediately. Well done him! But seriously, if Taru are to use booking.com as a portal they need to be much more responsive. Apart from that glitch; the place is wonderful and I throughly recommend it and am relieved I persevered!

It is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need. It is the perfect place to just relax and forget about life dor a while. But as amazing as the place and the views are, its the staff at Taru Villas who make it an unforgettable holiday. They truly go out of their way to make your stay so comfortable and enjoyable and are just amazing people. We will definitely be back again! The cost of the food and drinks at the villa is just a bit expensive. We were not aware we can’t take our own food and drinks, so it does add up over the course of a couple of days. Even though it is costly, the staff and amazing location does make it all worth while and very convenient in the end.

• Mayooran (9/5): Grand experience with 1-1 care by exceptional staff. - The 1-1 attention given by staff and their willingness to provide meals we wanted. The bed rooms and bathrooms have a grand feel to them. The beach at the back of the garden. The small swimming pool that was suitable for kids. The hammock and the beach beds in the garden. A little too expensive. The sitting room should have air conditioning; it is too warm otherwise. The sitting room needs to be left private for our use without the staff being in it. The small kitchen adjoining the sitting room needs repair and renovation (water leaking all the time, tap handles broken).

Nothing much but if I had to choose the food was little bit on the expensive side that’s about it, otherwise very good place.

• Di (8/5): Very good - The breakfast is delicious, especially the Rice noodles with local characteristics in Sri Lanka, which are very delicious with sauce. There are mosquitoes outdoors, and mosquito coils cannot completely drive them away. It is better to have mosquito nets in the bedroom.

I would like to thank the staff for their commitment to taking care of us and providing food, cleaning and overall service, which was above and beyond normal accommodation. They even arranged a Valentine flower for my friend. Undoubtedly the best accommodation with a high standard. Thank you very much, I would like to come back to this place.
• Marinabronevich (10/5): Exceptional - Liked everything about the villa! Hope to come back next year :) There is enough space on villa for 4 people but there were two of us - my friend and me. It was soooo convenient to have separate rooms. The staff that lives on villa was super friendly and helpful. They tried their best for us to have excellent time in Hikkaduwa and they were the icing of the cake of the accomodation. Would really recommend everyone to visit the place and stay there.
• Jan-willem (9/5): Superb - This is a wonderful place! We came here with our 2 sons (24 and 17) to relax and spend time together and this was the perfect spot for it. Good sized bedrooms, nicely decorated and very comfortable beds. The living room is cozy but we spent most of our time outside where you have the plunge pool, a sitting area, sunbeds and last but not least the sea is there right at your doorstep. The staff, Rohan(manager) and Mohan(housekeeping) are amazing and give excellent service, Nothing is too much to ask for them! Location wise the Villa is well situated, close to Hikkaduwa and not too far from Galle. Book this place if it's available! .

• Ayham (9/5): Spacious quiet hotel serviced villa right on the beach - Great 2 bedroom villa right on the beach with a lovely pool and catered like a hotel with the amazing team that took care of us and made our stay so comfortable! Breakfast was deliciously freshly cooked, and snacks were brought to us which was a lovely surprise. The crib for our toddler was super comfortable. The pool was a bit small but good enough to lounge in. Not much at all, it was a great stay! I would say maybe the water could use some more heat but that wasn’t a big deal either.

• Sarah (10/5): A beautiful villa with fantastic staff - The villa was more than we could have expected from the description. From the street the villa looks very ordinary but when you enter through the gate it is a beautiful private oasis. The outside areas are well looked after and the loungers and pool allow for a great sunbathing day. You are only a few steps away from the sea, although most of the time it is better to watch than to enter. The staff were brilliant at what they do, attentive but not overbearing. We didn't realise the villa came with staff and it was a great realisation. The chef was brilliant and the food was great, especially the barramundi. Rohan was a very considerate host and nothing was too much. The location was perfect for us. A 20 minute walk down the beach took us to funky bar, a great place to watch the surfers and the great sunsets. A further 20 minutes takes you to Hikaduwa town. Both are only a short drive by tuk tuk if walking isn't your thing. We loved our stay here and look forward to returning. Nothing. It was a great place to stay

We were made to feel so special during our stay, and also had some of our best meals in Sri Lanka here. I Highly recommend this for families and couples who would love to stay more nights.

The villa has everything that you could need, it is safe, well designed, comfortable and clean with a gorgeous outside area that backs directly onto an unspoilt quiet part of the beach. WiFi and air conditioning are excellent. The team that work at the villa are exceptional. Kind, genuine and welcoming, they make Taru Villa 906 what it is. Anthony, Withana and Wasana took the greatest care of us and our one year old daughter, going above and beyond on numerous occasions. The food made by Wasana is incredible, he is an exceptional chef. I can honestly say that we ate most of the food on the menu and every dish was delicious. Every time we ate out we regretted it as it would never be as good! If you are looking for somewhere where you can really relax, with great service, food and standard of accommodation then Taru Villa 906 is for you. We will certainly be back.

The Villa is well designed with a lot of attention to detail. The pool and outdoor areas were excellent. The best part however is the service. Anthony and Mahesh were very attentive but very discreet. Callum the Villa chef was exceptional, we had 14 days in Sri Lanka and without question the food at Taru Villas was the best we had our entire holiday. Overall highly recommended.

The food was excellent and it was obvious the chef enjoyed his role. We left everything up to him. There is some noise from the road but it is not noticeable at night. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday.
