• JonathanBE (6/5): Average stay, don't expect too much luxury - Good location close to the city center, walking distance from main sights and various restaurants, bars and small shops. The Wi-Fi was surprisingly fast. Comfortable bed. A bit of an older, run-down hotel though - room was comfortable enough but don't expect Western-style luxury. The water pressure in the shower was useless and the breakfast was very mediocre. The staff was rather apathetic. No daily cleaning though.

Air conditioning was a bit difficult to adjust and it was a bit cold and blew directly onto the bed

• Stefanie (10/5): Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis - Sauber, großes Zimmer mit Balkon, bequeme Betten, Dusche mit ordentlichem Wasserdruck, sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Wir durften sogar bis 13:30 in unserem Zimmer bleiben weil wir erst Abends auf den Flughafen mussten. Alles sehr unkompliziert.

I was upgraded to a Classic Double Room on the 5th floor given my Genius rank on Booking.com. Hot water in the bathroom. Mr Bounpon at the reception has to be one of the kindest hotel staff members I have ever met. Would have appreciated a room with a view, either of the Lao Plaza Hotel or the Black Pagoda (That Dam). My room's windows faced the inner courtyard, which was pleasant enough, but the room lacked any privacy if the curtains were open.

Transport needed to go to Lao National Museum, Lao People’s Army History Museum and Pha That Luang. The Patouxai Arch is some 20 minutes away on foot. Das Zimmer war genug gross und gut ausgestattet, mit bequemen Betten. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Der Innenhof, wo man das Frühstück einnimmt, ist sehr schön gestaltet. Es war auch sehr ruhig, fast kein Lärm von der Strasse.

La réception nous a aidées pour la reservation de nos billets de train mais les informations concernant le temps de trajet et le prix n'étaient pas claires et contradictoires selon les employés. Le petit dejeuner sous forme de buffet pouvait être pris jusqu'à 10h00 et était certainement tres fourni mais dès 9h00 il n'y avait pratiquement plus rien. Il faudrait remédier à ce problème car c'est un peu dommage. Tout le monde ne se lève pas à 8h00 surtout en vacances!

• Eszter (8/5): - We got what we expected based on what we saw in the photos, the breakfast was perfect. The staff could have been nicer. We contacted the hotel in the beginning of December about a possible transfer from the railway station. We got no reply at all. When we called them about it the day before our arrival , they said that we should find a taxi/tuk-tuk on our own as their only car was not available. We don’t think it was a customer-friendly move. Throughout our whole stay the staff rather seemed ignorant and to be bothered by the guests. We haven’t seen a single smile.However, when we checked out, the receptionist offered to arrange a taxi for us to the airport. We don’t really understand why it couldn’t have been done when we asked about it on arrival.

• Pauline (9/5): Top Lage, sehr guter Service, gerne wieder! - Die Lage ist top! Das Personal - vor allem an der Rezeption - ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sie sprechen sehr gut Englisch und konnten uns Wegbeschreibungen und sonstige gute Tipps füe Vientiane geben. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und swhr gur. Als wir ankamen, war es fast 17 Uhr und wir konnten an der Bar im Innenhof die Happy Hour genießen.
• Uwe (9/5): Gutes Hotel um die Stadt zu erkunden. - Gutes Stadthotel in Vientiane. Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist gut, Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar. Die über der Stadt verteilten Sehenswürdigkeiten erkundet man am besten mit einem TukTuk. Frühstück ist völlig ok. Personal sehr freundlich. Es war alles sehr ok.

There is nothing I didn't like. Minor stuff like the hotel is not in the main area but it's not a far walk. You find a better selection of restaurants in the main area

Most of Laos is not wheelchair accessible.

Size of room with Aircon and hot water. Daily cleaning and room make up without question. Included breakfast is varied but eggs etc are put out early and allowed to get cold. I had no problems with the WIFI and there was a good choice of food at the breakfast. It is good value for money. Convenient for the airport. No problems during my stay.
