• Büche (10/5): Top Hotel in atemberaubender Lage mit bestem Service - Das Hotel liegt in einer atemberaubenden Natur. Die Anlage ist sehr groß und ruhig und sehr gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber. Es gibt zwei tolle Restaurants mit einer großen Auswahl an sehr guten Gerichten. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich. Es gibt auch ein tolles Spa mit sehr professionellen Massagen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen und kann es nur empfehlen. Es gibt nichts was mir nicht gefallen hat :-)

• yeonheel2026 (10/5): Unforgettable Memories in the Jungle - We had a wonderful stay. It was so relaxing to be in this beautiful jungle setting with such friendly staff and a clean resort. It was a unique experience to stay at this resort in the heart of the jungle, offering a wonderful contrast to typical coastal resorts. If you’re visiting with children, they will have a blast at the Animal Garden and the Kids Club! Lastly, I would like to express my special thanks to Dea, who kindly asked us in Korean if we had a comfortable stay during checkout. That thoughtful gesture really touched our hearts.

• robertoi_moolicker (10/5): Romantic meal in the bamboo nest - Me and my partner came to Bali where I’d set up a grand day for my proposal to her… she said yes, with the end of the day being a private romantic dinner at Padma. I booked Padmas Bamboo nest for the occasion which was an amazing setting for our engagement meal. Not only are the views spectacular but it really gave the wow factor upon entering, from the atmosphere to the way it was decorated. The whole evening went perfectly. We ate a 5 course meal which was fantastic, the quality and presentation of the food was top notch. The service was impeccable, I’d like to emphasis how much this contributed to our evening. Bayu and Mangku made our night that bit more memorable with their attention to detail, we couldn’t ask for anything better . I would highly recommend Bayu he was very friendly, accommodating and professional. This was a night to remember and it will be one we remember forever.

The infinity pool is crazy, the view at the breakfast every morning... • Yvonne (9/5): Een magische plek midden in de jungle, gedragen door geweldig personeel. - Padma Ubud geeft je direct een bijzonder gevoel: diep in de jungle, omringd door rust en natuur, maar toch voelt alles veilig en vertrouwd. De oprechte vriendelijkheid van het personeel maakt het verblijf extra warm en aangenaam. Het zwembad is werkelijk fantastisch, met een uitzicht dat je niet snel vergeet. Alleen daarvoor zou je al terugkomen. Wij hebben enorm genoten en vonden het jammer dat we niet langer konden blijven. Een aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een unieke, serene plek. Het resort is hier en daar wat gedateerd en de kamers tonen lichte gebruikssporen, maar dit doet weinig af aan de totale ervaring. De sfeer, de locatie en het personeel maken het meer dan goed. Het is wel wat grootschalig, maar wij hebben dat zelf niet als storend ervaren.

The first thing that hits you is the setting. It’s not in the middle of Ubud town, which I actually ended up loving. You’re surrounded by forest, and there’s this quiet that you don’t realize you’ve been missing until you’re in it. Mornings felt slower in the best way — a bit of mist over the trees, soft light, and almost no noise except birds. The room was spacious and very well maintained. Nothing felt worn out or overlooked, which can happen even in high-end resorts. The bed was super comfortable, and small details like the lighting, the bathroom layout, and even the balcony made it easy to just stay in and relax for hours. The infinity pool is probably the highlight. It’s one of those places that actually looks like the photos, maybe even better in real life. I spent a lot of time there just staring out at the forest. It never felt overcrowded, which surprised me. Food was good overall. Breakfast had a wide variety, and everything was fresh. Dinner options were solid, though after a couple of days I did feel like trying something outside the resort just for variety. That said, if you just want to stay in and unwind, you wouldn’t feel limited. Service was consistently warm without being over the top. Julio and the rest of the staff were genuinely attentive. They remembered little things and made each meal feel relaxed and personal rather than formal or scripted. Overall, it’s the kind of place I’d go back to when I want to disconnect a bit and not think too much about planning every detail. It’s not trying to be trendy or flashy — it just quietly delivers a really comfortable, calming experience.

• Sightseer16662155381 (10/5): Amazing stay - We came here for honeymoon. Stayed at the one bedroom suite with club lounge for 4 nights. Everything was perfect. Nice drinks, food, activities were plentiful and fun! We were able to relax. The club lounge was very calm and the view was beautiful. Also the pool was so breathtaking. The view and nature combined was amazing. We saw a lot of dragon flies and cute birds. We did not see a lot of insects so we were able to peacefully spend time with open windows. Moreover, all the staff were amazing. When we joined the bicycle tour, Tama san helped us guide and we learned a lot about Balinese culture. Also DEA-san helped us on day of check out. It was really enjoyable on last minute stay. Everyone at the club lounge was so nice always asking us if they could help us or if there was any trouble. The hospitality here was excellent and I’d like to visit again with my family.

We enjoyed so much the facility including the infinity pool, the spa and club lounge. staff was very friendly especially shoutout to Tutty who took care of us well and Agus with expert guidance on golf and archery experience. We felt so relaxed and recharged after the stay. The Kintamani volcano jeer tour offered by the guide was so good and exciting! The only downside was about my tripping over during the bike tour. The route was too advanced with so much traffic with fast speeded motorbikes that was so dangerous. Luckily the staff was attentive and escorted me to the first aid room. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for travelers staying in Ubud.

• Destination722916 (10/5): Absolutely stunning. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else - I did so much research before choosing the padma Ubud . Many reviews had said it was “magical “ I did not understand this until I arrived. This place is truely magical . Every part of our stay was perfect, the rooms , the food and buffets ( breakfast and dinner ) were amazing and the service was impeccable. The grounds are stunning and it’s clear the amount of pride put into the property. My husband left clothes in the room and the padma Ubud hand delivered them to our hotel in Nusa dua without charge. We have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world and this is up the with one of them. Yes about 40mins from Ubud central but if you plan your trip well this is not a problem. A few afternoons on free shuttle in Ubud central and then remainder spend around the incredible pool .

• Peivand (10/5): A true sanctuary - Unreal breakfast, has everything you can think of from European, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian and continental. A huge shoutout to the staff who really make or break a stay at a hotel and the staff here could not have done enough for us. Just hearing I had a sore throat over the phone the butler service was at my door in 5 mins with a complimentary ginger and lemon tea and offered to have the hotel doctor take me to the clinic. The activities are great and there is something to do every day of your stay. Food is great in both restaurants and by the pool bar. To end our stay we had a gorgeous bouquet of flowers given to us and traditional Balinese bracelets for good luck which was a lovely touch to end the fabulous trip with. If I was to go back to Bali, Padma Ubud would be the first place I’d stay! The driver back from the city doesn’t run after 5pm so we had to arrange our own transport back one night but that was fine as long as you have Grab on your phone :)

The whole place is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, perfect if you just want to relax and unwind. What really made it special for us was the people. Every staff member we met was warm and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience feel very personal and welcoming. We especially want to mention Julio at the restaurant. He was amazing, somehow he remembered our names and even our room number every time we came in. It might seem like a small thing, but it made us feel really looked after and honestly meant a lot to us. We just wish we could have stayed longer. It was hard to leave, and we will definitely be back someday.
• Didianan (10/5): Great and pleasant stay - I stayed there on Christmas Eve, they had all the decoration and some dine-in offers, so beautiful. The pool was fantastic, great view, nice weather, I didn't swim, but I enjoyed some reading there, feels calming even when many people around. They have jogging track, what a catch. The room is great, everything is running well, great view again. The breakfast is nice spread too. They staffs are very helpful, from the arrival to departure. Great experience to have.
• JetsettersWA (8/5): Stunning scenery and wonderful hospitality - Padma Ubud is the perfect location to totally relax - we stayed as a couple for 5 nights in a Club room as part of an amazing Luxury Escapes package deal. We have previously stayed at the Padma Legian and it was clear from the moment we arrived that both resorts share the same superior level of service. It’s the little things that matter to an amazing experience - like being taken directly to the Club Lounge to be checked in while also enjoying the two hour free flow cocktails and canapés. The staff are Padma’s greatest asset and there were a couple of standouts during our experience. Firstly, Diandra in the Club Lounge - consistently making our time in the Lounge an impeccable experience; making sure our cocktails and beers were constantly replenished and each night arranging an abundance of food made especially for me to cater to my dietary requirements. Also, Dwi in the gym, who helped me with various equipment and even guided me through a personalised post-workout stretching session. The food cannot be faulted - we enjoyed an array of delicious food in both restaurants, the Club Lounge and room service. The Spa was a beautiful setting and the post-massage lounge area was stunning with its views out to the lush green gardens. My only suggestion would be to improve the music that is played during treatments as I did not find it particularly relaxing and part way through one treatment it appeared to revert to a radio station with someone talking. Not a major concern but an opportunity for improvement to enhance the spa experience! The entire setting of the resort is spectacular and serene - gorgeous well maintained gardens and beautiful infinity pool that is a lovely warm temperature. We particularly enjoyed the hot jacuzzi. Also, there are some beautiful rice paddies to walk by if you choose to venture out of the resort for a walk as we did a few times. The resort and rooms are well kept and clean. We were impressed with the speed of the laundry service (returned to us in under six hours). The only suggestion for improvement would be for housekeeping to ensure that all amenities are replenished daily - I used the bath salts on the first night and they were never replaced. I am sure they would have been provided if I called up and requested it but this was a bit of an avoidable inconvenience. The only other irritation was the inconsistent approach to managing the pool area during storms. On several occasions there was thunder heard (but no lightning) and guests were able to remain in the swimming pool. However, on another couple of occasions under the same circumstances, we were told to get out of the pool for extended periods on the basis of ‘safety concerns’. This meant we were not able to enjoy the main feature of the resort and it was frustrating because it was not clear what the safety issue actually was. We appreciate the resort’s attention to safety but feel it could be managed more consistently and based on real not potential risk ie the presence of lightning, not the potential for lightning in the presence of thunder. Our experience was fantastic and positive overall. We particularly found benefit in the Club Lounge and package including daily lunch or dinner and would definitely consider returning again in future. We came to Padma Ubud Resort for our honeymoon, and all the staff were so kind. We were really touched by your hard work to make good memories called Honeymoon! In particular, JULIO changed seats to a better place during the breakfast time, even though we didn't ask for a better place when the seats were empty, and he spoke Korean fluently, so we were very comfortable and touched by the service. It was nice to have a service from JULIO during the breakfast time for two days. I bring only really good memories from Padma Ubud.

• CaptAmerica0 (10/5): Simply WOW From Start to Finish - WOW truly says it all. We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and could not have been happier with our experience. The property itself is absolutely stunning. It is very true to the photos, if not even better in person. The grounds extend into truly breathtaking areas, including walking trails that lead to some incredible viewpoints. The yoga nest in particular offered some of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen. What made the experience even more special, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to go above and beyond. A special shoutout to Teja, who was and incredible human and taught my wife and me archery, which was a complimentary activity and such a fun, memorable experience. Our butler, Puput, was also fantastic and made everything seamless throughout our stay. I would highly recommend booking a club room. It gives you access to the lounge at any time, with amazing snacks, mocktails, smoothies, and coffee drinks throughout the day. They also offer an open bar and more substantial food in the evening, which was a great added benefit. And the food overall was incredible. Breakfast was a highlight, with both a buffet and made to order options. I found myself ordering the steak and eggs almost every morning, along with their smoothie bowls, which were excellent. Lastly, one of the best and most unique spas my wife and I have ever been to. Your massage room is in these beautiful caverns and the massages we had were truly the BEST we've ever had in our life's. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience and the perfect place to celebrate our honeymoon.

A small tip for the other young guys: we understand it can be quiet behind the pool bar, but shouting to each other over the walkie-talkies, talking loudly among yourselves and laughing very loudly does not feel very relaxing for paying guests. A few guests even gave you annoyed looks, which you may not have noticed. (This, by the way, does not apply to Juliana.)

• Sarah (10/5): Absolutely wonderful, exactly as it seemed in the photos. - The hotel is a little way away from Ubud centre, but that means you get a super beautiful immersive experience in the forest. Shuttle to and from Ubud is super easy to use and the restaurants / facilities at the hotel are super lovey, so we didn’t fee we missed out. Swimming pool is lovely and shallow throughout, so you can choose to swim or just walk around. We visited in low season when the hotel was quite quiet so our room got upgraded, and I think we may have had the best hotel bathroom I’ve ever experienced. A mini bar and better tea/coffee facilities in room would be nice.

• Dzmitry (10/5): A true gem hidden in the jungles of Ubud - Padma Resort Ubud is a real pearl surrounded by the lush jungles of Ubud. A wonderful place, especially for a family vacation. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful — the only sounds around are those of the jungle itself, which are soothing and deeply relaxing. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning, a place where time simply disappears. Breakfast was very good, and overall the culinary offerings are of a solid, high-quality standard. Service was excellent throughout our stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to fully relax. There are also plenty of activities for children, which makes this resort a great choice for families. There were minor downsides, but they were quickly forgotten and did not affect the overall impression. This is definitely a place we would love to return to.
