When we secured the location through the website, it offered cancellation, but at the property they refused. Definitely a no reccomend from our end.

- RIchard (2/5): NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - Booking : Terrible customer service regarding cancellation literally two minutes after booking as website defaulted from Brownfield to Brownsville. H.C. was told Property manager WOULD NOT refund the room. If this is the way they full their property I can't imagine that it's managed, maintained and/or would offer any type of services related to the traveller so STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. Poor service / review choice.

There was dirt in the bottom of the shower when we walked to the door and we opened it roaches went everywhere and then we go inside and there’s cockroaches crawling on the wall in the bathroom sink on the counter. It was disgusting.

We had previously stayed at the Home Wood Suites and that was what I expected. It was downhill from that; they did not honor my reservation even though I had a copy of my confirmation.

There are no curtains, the shades are not fitted so light come in, not the cleanliness, smells when you walk in, good for pets. Also the A/C was good. The “blanket” is more of a sheet and the pillows are flat flat.

No lo recomiendo , jamás volvería.

The bathroom toilet was clogged for the 4 day in the hotel. the floors looked awful in both the odor hit you in the lobby and it followed you throughout the entire building. I was so scared the hold time I was there

Room did smell the same as downstairs interior. Outlet cover was missing in bathroom. Did see live cockroach on fridge door seal when I opened fridge to put my sodas in.

- Olive (4/5): - There was no registration clerk for about 30-35 minutes. I have to call the hotline to report that no one was at the desk. I was placed on hold for more than 7 minutes. I have to re- dial the hotline, I have to call the hotel number. I spoke to hotel clerk and he said he was on his way but it took another 5-8 minutes The door behind the front desk was wide open and it is showing the dirty laundry linens to be washed. It is disappointing to see how disorganize behind the front door. I was ready to leave but I already prepaid my stay. The clerk lied to the hotline person and I heard him say”it is not true, she is right here”. I know he was referring to me. There were other guests behind me also waiting to check in. Actually when I was coming in to the building, there were 4 guys already at the front office waiting to check in but because there was no one there they left. When the office clerk arrive, I asked him if he was the only one working and he said “yes, and the National guards are coming tomorrow”. I don’t feel comfortable recommending this place to others as I don’t want them to experience what I had experienced. Actually, the price is not comparable to other hotels, especially the check in service and the office presentation.

- Myra (2/5): - Check-in took about 30-40 minutes. No one is ever at the front desk. The whole place smelled like smoke, hallways, elevator and the room. Cars kept stopping by the front of the hotel to drop off stuff or pick up people. Don’t take your family there. Not safe.

I had heard that they where having issues and dealing with it. The staff where wonderful, though. I felt safe…just hard to relax.

The elevator and room smelled like musky and cologne infested that the smells stayed on out clothing. We asked for extra towels and was promised that in 30mins housekeeping would come by the room. We waited over an hr and no one came by and after we came back to our room, we still didn’t have those extra towels.

They wouldn’t work on the entry door and would on the room or vice verse. The sheets and pillow cases were very dirty they had blood and chocolate on them. Grandson walked barefooted and his feet were black from the dirt

Our room had no towels we had to ask for them also no soap to shower. The shower head was broken water was going everywhere so my husband had to tie a towel around it so we could shower without water going everywhere. Not worth the 100 a night

- Brianna (2/5): Roach motel - Roaches got in my luggage and into my vehicle after staying there and after the room was treated for roaches. Totally disappointed. Bed was comfortable, was nice, but the roaches just grossed me out, and the tub never drained. Friendly and nice staff though. Jacob is very accommodating and professional and the other one I forget his name, shorter dark hair, also very nice.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Roach problem - Horrible place, we didn't even stay the night. We left immediately upon entering our room. There were so many cockroaches everywhere. On the bed frames, on the walls, in the bathroom. When we called the person in the front, no one answered the phones. So we went to talk to a personnel that was on the same floor and they were just coming back to their room with exterminator spray. It was disgusting. We couldn't sleep there not knowing if a bug was going to crawl all over us in our sleep.
- Elizabeth (2/5): Bad odor - Checked in and as we were walking into the elevator there was a bad smell as we get to the our floor it smell so ugly that I was regretting the stay as we walk to our room my goodness the smell the air hot and it just did not look clean the bed and the room were not what we expected . Left the room right away asked for our refund back and I’m waiting to see if I’m getting it back. There was No way we were going to sleep there.
- Neptaly (8/5): - This place was dirty, it smells and apparently smoking is allowed in the elevator and hallway.Also there weren’t any toiletries BUT there were roaches!!!!
